Collect from Rainbow Spring every 6 hrs - 40 points

I have to be honest, I'm not planning on enjoying this event. I didn't like the previous one either...and right now I have a duck pond habitat sitting in storage that can't be used.

While I wouldn't mind winning the unicorn, I doubt I'll be able to climb into and hold onto first place over the full 11 (12?) days of the event. Given that I work, there's no way I can maintain a ranking by playing only during my off hours. I'll try my best, of course, but I'm resigned to not succeeding.

I too am sad this is again a competitive event. All through the Arctic fox event we begged to sell extra parts to help one another because we want to be a cooperative community. Through the last leaderboard event people complained about the competitive nature of the event. But here we go again. and it seems they based the prize for level 19,000 points on that oddly designed foal that was heavily panned on the forum for its strange, gangly configuration... The one that us now in so many cellars...

At the last event many could not play because the Barn was full. Now we have to play 24/7 to have a chance at the main prize. In my group are 20 farmers, only 2 get the price, that is, 90% do not get it. That's not fair. I am annoyed at myself that I once again gave Gems.

Exactly, it's a pass from me too. I'm glad I can get more coins as I'm saving for few buildings. The top players in my group are already viciously competing against each other, I cannot imagine doing that for 12 days. These leadership events should last barely a weekend.

I'll be giving this a big miss too. If Storm8 want to throw 5000 coins my way at the end of the event, that's fine and I shall be appropriately thankful. However, I refuse to bust my hump competing against fellow farmers for another non-productive (pet) mouth to feed on my farm. (I have 10 pets on my farm and approx another 20 in storage already.)

I'm saving up coins for the last couple of buildings/animals/crops that I can buy in coming levels. Hopefully I'll earn some expansion and upgrade parts along the way. If not, I'll just watch my coins balance grow and redecorate from time to time...

As expected, I am already too far behind other players because I cannot devote my full attention to Farm Story 2, even on the weekend. I will continue to do what I can to gain points on the leaderboard and continue to do the prize spin, but only to get to the milestones and whatever rewards they might offer. While I would have liked to win the Unicorn and/or the Unicorn foal, I doubt I'll be able to climb and hold onto 2nd place or even collect the 19k points needed to receive he foal.

I don't know who thought a leaderboard challenge like this would be a good idea, but it's stressful enough trying to achieve goals in and of themselves...tying that into a competition just ups the stress level and detracts from the enjoyment of it all.

I mean, I'm level 54, and while so far I'm keeping pace with the top players in my group, they're up in the eighties and will probably leave me chewing dust when my work week begins. I understand where you are coming from. I bought 2 rainbow boosts because I thought they'd look nice on my farm post event but even with these the top couple of players in my group are already nearly 2000 ahead.

I never became aware of "truffle-gate" until it had been fixed but I was still able to come second. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong that some can get so far ahead.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

I would propose that those who can get so far ahead are 1) able to devote extensive time to playing, crafting and sending out deliveries at an almost breakneck pace; 2) utilizing the boost for the Chocolatier to craft continuously and therefore reaping a steady flow of points; 3) using boosts to craft and completely fulfill truck orders; 4) mining like crazy to find the mystery boxes and whatever points they might contain; and 5) using gems to speed things up even faster, particularly the collection of wool from the Alpaca (which, if they have 4, is going to be like 72 points each time, if I remember correctly), the Beehive, and possibly the Sheep as well, not to mention keeping the Cows and Chickens working overtime.

Too much effort, not enough time, and not enough gems for me to consider doing any of that. Thus, I have no ambitions to climb to #2 (even though I already received the Unicorn Habitat...it should really be offered WITH the Unicorn, not so far down in the Milestones).

Even though I was able to get in second position last time (I was sick in bed therefore had a lot of time on my hands) I won't be able to achieve it this time. I can't afford to use too many gems, though I did like the rainbow boosts for decoration, and I don't have many cowbells. I'd rather keep my cowbells for other items.

20 players in my group and the level difference is between 10-15, last time it was only 1-2 but it doesn't matter, I'm not aiming to win the pets, just getting coins, upgrading tools and expansion files. So far my top players are over 4k in points

I hate this event. The pop up bit at the bottom is soooo annoying and I have to wait for it to finish before I continue play. I have no desire to collect the prize as with horses already in storage I don't want more. After the last event they are becoming a joke. We couldn't sell from our barns, so even less space to work with and with one after another I really am getting tired of them. I agree with u I've given up already n just doing my usual game the competition is getting out of hand n I'm not using my hard earned gems on another useless pet.

Exactly! It happens in my group too! This is the first time I have ever written in forum, because I m too frustrated to see such unfair game play. I m hoping TL would investigate any *****s in players over 10k pts at this moment! Is it even possible for normal playing or even with gems?? I checked the top player didn't buy any rainbow boost nor point boost!

After the last disappointing and unwelcomed leaderboard event I thought TL would listen to loyal players' complaints and stop this type of events... ☹️ I really miss the events that neighbours could help each other, that was one of the reasons I have been playing this game for years.

I'm glad I'm in an underachieving group, then - I've been playing a lot (stocking up for when I go back to work tomorrow) and I've only just hit 4650... but I have been on top of my group all afternoon. There's a few at level 80-odd, too, so...

I know this is one event I can't win, but darned if I'm not trying for the 19k foal! :)

From normal farming I got the same here. My group is quite competitive but in a certain way:
- only half of my group seems to play the game whether participating in the event or not (the other is basically 0 points so they don't event play the game at all)
- 2 top players are like 2-3 times more than me and are viciously fighting for the 1st spot, they keep switching almost every min
- however the biggest fight occurs for the 4th-6th places, all 8 players keep switching for those places and they are very close in points, difference of only 50-100
- BUT they try their best to never surpass the 3rd place, which I find hilarious! It's clear they, like me, just want coins :D

This is only the 2nd time this kind of challenge has been done, so you're undoubtedly not alone in your questions about it.

Only the top 2 players in your group will get the Unicorn (1st place also gets a gold unicorn statue, 2nd place gets a silver statue). However, if you (or anyone) are able to earn 19,000 points, you will automatically receive the Unicorn Foal as a prize. This is available to all participants.

I am playing a lot too. If there is a ***** my group isn't aware of it. I'm first for now but, the current number 2 spot has been very competitive. The other players are close enough that they could catch up if they really tried hard. There is a 200 point difference in between the top 4 spots. I'm enjoying this event. I usually hurry up and finish, then sit back and watch the rest of it play out. I think I'll have to stay on my toes until the end for this one. It will be close to win even the foal, I'm just hoping for mama too.

I think S8 has set a lower bar for my group and I. There are only 6 of us. We are all about lvl30 (give or take a lvl.) We all have only 1 sheep pen each. I'm leading with 1200 points, 2nd is at 1000. My foal will take 8500 points to get. Maybe to put us into perspective, I got to my 4th milestone and I'm 200 points from my 5th. Which milestones are you all at?

The points differ according to our farm levels. What I have recorded in Post 2 is for high levels farms. If anyone post their milestone prizes and points for mid level or low level farms, I'll add that in too. Hope this clarifies.

It seems the line is drawn between lvl 30/40. I was lvl 30ish in the first leaderboard event and "only" had to get 8.5k points to win whereas now I'm lvl 40ish and its 19k. No wonder only half of my group is playing...

About players getting already 10k-ish points: I'm sure getting all the booster helps a lot but there is a strategy to maximize getting points if you're willing to stick to it until the end of event (12 days is way too long though!)

Have all farm animals (every single one you can get!), coordinate all collection times (animals, crafted items), prepare doable orders on the plane and truck (get them ready but don't send yet!) and then set boosters on and collect everything/send orders. Do that within the booster lasting period and repeat that. Meanwhile, when you wait for next big collection time point, you can keep doing plane orders on and on, make animal feeds and keep preparing for the truck.

Higher level crafts take up to 8 hours each to make! They are difficult to find in the market!

I did play this weekend constantly..
I have a rainbow boost and now I have 7000 point..
Im on place 6 of my team..

The one on top have over 22000 point now and do NOT have a boost..
How is this possible?

I play hours and hours...
Sent lost of deliviries...trucks..
And collect all the time from animals..

I totally agree with what you said. Last event was 10,000 points and now it's almost double at 19,000 points. Events are way easier for me when my farm was at lower levels, now in level 80s, they are very difficult. I dont understand the rationale behind higher point requirements for higher level farms. To add on to what you said, to craft a single chevre pizza requires 30 hours of harvesting time plus 7hr 15mins of crafting time which total up to 37hrs 15mins. If we are lucky, our delivery orders only ask for 1 pizza but that's not the case, a single order usually wipes out several days of farming effort.

To others who are worried about being at a disadvantage to players who are 30+ levels ahead of you. I say dont be, you are at an advantage - (1) less crafts to keep and (2) less tedious long crafts to make which are almost impossible to find in the Market.

I understand where you are coming from. I bought 2 rainbow boosts because I thought they'd look nice on my farm post event but even with these the top couple of players in my group are already nearly 2000 ahead.

I never became aware of "truffle-gate" until it had been fixed but I was still able to come second. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong that some can get so far ahead.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

So I'm currently #2 and I did decently well in the last one as well. I play a bit more on weekends than normal. I bought one rainbow water thing (which helps a little, but it isn't a huge short term boost). It does help add up points for 19,000 individual goal.

But for me it is really just taking care of my animals. I try to feed my pigs every3-4 hours and at that time I do my cows as well. my 8 sheep get tended every 6 (give or take). The 2 Alpaca do help. My poor chickens get tended to maybe a quarter of the time. But really, I just mostly do animal tending. The delivery truck I also try to complete. And I don't send out so many barn orders. I sent out a full barn at first because I had pre-prepped it, but now I send out maybe 2-3/day.

The other thing that helps is the spin-to-win thing. If you land on the chests, you can get anything from 18-40(so far from bronze chests). Though last event I got a few chests with several hundred. It is just sort of random.

Edit: It could also be the group I'm in. I have 2700 and number 1 has 2900, whereas other groups apparently have people who already have over 10,000(?). I don't know. I'm just trying for the individual prizes. The big unicorn would be nice, but people bust out at the end to spend gems to make a final push, that I'm not willing to do.

Exactly, my leader has over 17,000 points. I played constantly all weekend and have about 8,000 right now. I propbably have played as much as the leader, and I don't have half as much! I have 4 rainbow boosts, and she has none? How is this possible? TL seems to think so!

You know, it seems the higher you go the harder it gets, in fact too hard. At some point players give up and don't come back anymore which is a shame, my super high lvl neighbours are inactive. It should be more advantageous the higher you level up. I think the best lvls to play the event are the 30-ish sth.

What milestones are you all at? I know I'm at lower level, my goals are not set as high but, I'm playing constantly and only reached milestone 5. I'm sorry it doesn't feel fair to many but, a player at my lvl has no chance at all against some of you. Somehow many are getting whole events worth of points only a few days in from where I'm at. I worked my tail off for 1500. I'm dumping orders that I can't complete, have skipped both of my delivery trucks because I can't do them without a deli, a beehive, another set of animals or buildings, the things the game thinks I'm supposed to have. I'm buying ingredients to complete my orders because my farm cant keep up with itself.

Maybe because everything in my life has needed just a little more than I can easily give, I'll continue to work at it. Fortunately it is just a game and if it becomes completely unreachable I can always give up. I'll just try my best for this one and enjoy the challenge.

Politely and well stated... I also don't see how I can accomplish 19,000 points. Last time, I fished a lot as this gave points, but with mining you might not even find a trophy. This is discouraging all around. I'm just getting the points I can and I will make the milestones I can, but don't see myself getting 19,000 points. It's a huge number, more than double the lower level number, and I really thought it might be a mistake. But I see it has not been remedied, so must have been intended. I really dislike this type of event, all around.

So, while it might not be a glitch, it is one way to legitimately maximize the amount of points earnable.

Hmm...ignoring the expense of the gems themselves, crafting 80 chocolate oranges could result in 480 points. It might be worth it...not that I could afford to play that way.

I will not reach the 19,000 points.
My first event, which I can not successfully complete. The last LB event was very stressful for me and I'm not ready to expose myself to this stress again.
I do not care now: in the future, I will look at an event very closely before I decide whether I will participate in it and och I am willing to invest my Gems.
When I saw that there was a Unicorn to win, I was very euphoric, so I unfortunately made the mistake of giving 400 Gems for 4 rainbow boosters.
For 100 Gems, which costs a rainbow booster, I can buy 3 2-hour boosters and would be able to collect much more trophies than all 6 hour 40 pieces.

I know it's redundant because they want us to spend money, but what would be really nice would be two events; one for those who wish to use gems and one for those who cannot afford them.

Someone in my group just jumped more than 500 points in less than an hour and they have less than half the stuff to produce points than I do. When it's taken us since the start of the event to get to 2000, 500 in an hour sounds a bit extreme.

It worked wonderfully. And as a bonus I was able to mine double points as well. I was thinking about doing it again but, it will cost me all of the gems I've saved. Congrats on your foal (I hope it's a cutie)..I'm doing my best for one of my own. I'll keep trying until the end for a chance at mom but, I'll reduce the effort considerably.

I don't think easier is the right word. It's just different numbers. I just got 4,000 this morning. That is my rainbow fencing. That number for so many players here was a day of effort, for me it was 5 days constantly sending orders, collecting from animals, spinning the wheel every opportunity, and boosting in the mornings for 2 of them. The effort I'm putting in is equal but, seemingly less (believe it or not). The higher level players putting in as much effort are done (ok, maybe it took me a few days to take the advice of people who know more. After 3 events of good advice, I'll pay attention right away next time). I've also been told it will get harder when my level gets higher. There seems to be a squirmey really hard bit when I reach lvl 40ish, for that part I'm hoping the event isn't giving away something I really want.

Not sure what's going on, but the people in my group keep changing (not adding-changing). And of course, the new ones have more points then me! In addition to that, the only chocolate items I can sell are the bars. They sale as fast as I put them in my shop. Can't get rid of anything else.......train, plane, nor truck ask for any chocolate products--they just ask for my coco beans. So once again my barn is full of items that can't/won't sell. So now I can't harvest any chocolate items, bacon, wool, ......And the waterfall can't be harvested when your barn is full.

This is true, and after starting off initially in 1st, I dropped down to 16th. Somehow, though, I have made it back up to 6th, just by playing more or less normally: more deliveries than usual, completing truck orders (though these have been unusually easy lately--knock on wood), etc. And spinning the wheel, of course, and striving for the milestones rather than actively pursuing the higher ranks. It's a lot less stressful and since I have no aspirations to climbing back into first, I'm not feeling the pressure.

I admit, I do a lot of discarding of orders and only keep the ones I can craft relatively quickly (or overnight or while I'm at work), but that's my normal style of play anyway.

They are the players logging in for the first time after the event has started. This way, players are playing against active players.

When I started this event, I decided that win or lose, I would get my baby unicorn. Days passed and they added new players to my group. They didn't take away my lead but, they did the others. If they just logged on like S8 claims then, wow they climbed super fast. During this time I got my hopes up. I'm at the top with twice as many points as #2. I received my rainbow arch this morning. The �� goals are getting harder to achieve, orders are resetting with equally impossible orders so that I'm resetting 3or4 times before I can send (my barn is like Noah's ark at least 2 of almost everything) I read that they are switching competitors, that's discouraging. Do we know if that will be the norm? Somewhere along the line I've convinced myself that I needed mama unicorn too, and that I could get her if I tried really hard. I have a shot unless they do a bigger challenge swap.

I've just experienced a major glitch on my second farm, after doing the spin to win I was rewarded with 273 points, if that wasn't strange enough to get so many points in one go, it then popped up twice more and I have just gone from 16th place to third. Surely this can't be fair on the people who have actually put the work in to get where they are, and I can't imagine I'm the only person this has happened to?

Have you recieved love notes from the other players yet? I've been taking screen shots of my leaderboard regularly because of the problems others have been having. I'm not sure the first spin was a mistake although I've never received more than 30ish points from the wheel. I'm not sure that more isn't possible. The other 2 times is weird. Have you contacted storm8?

It's not just me that's been worried about the glitches in the game and taking screenshots then;) I'm more than 16,000 points ahead of second place on my main farm and I'm still worried I may get overtaken due to the glitches.
The first spin I thought maybe lower levels just get awarded more points to even things out as I mainly get given fences on my main farm, then it just kept going and I'm now less than 100 points behind second place.
I haven't reported it yet, I'm hoping someone from Storm8 will see this so I can give them the details of my second farm and get the glitch points removed from it.

I have a little over twice as many points as my second (I have 9400 and they have 3700). I worked really hard to get the little unicorn and seemingly my spot on the board. I am still playing, collecting from animals, mining, and spinning the wheel. No longer sending the truck or the airplane since I'm selling everything I make in the shop. If anyone seems to be getting to close (I mean anything closer than 2000 away) I can go back to aggressive playing. I'll gladly accept the challenge, I just don't want to loose to a glitch after coming so far.

No chance--as expected--of placing in first or second place, not when those two are approaching 19,000 points and I still haven't broken 10,000. No chance, even, of earning the foal. Oh, well. As I said, "as expected." For what it's worth, I'm not really trying to get to 19,000. I'm just playing normally, and spinning the wheel just for the sake of spinning the wheel. If I hit milestones, great. If not, I'm not going to stress out about it.

What is really irritating is that I now have two habitats that will never see any use--the duck pond from the last leaderboard event, and the habitat for the unicorn. Unless there is a plan for these pets to become available in the future either through the tree house or through the market, these habitats should really have been acquired WITH the pets, not as a separate prize.

I get it...give participants the habitat early to incentivize them to work hard and get to the top of the leaderboard, buying and using gems in the process to stay in #1 or #2. However, with only 2 players per group allowed to win the adult unicorn, and requiring participants to go to extreme measure to reach 19,000 points and the foal--specifically, by buying multiple boosts in order to reach it in the limited time, during which many are unable to play consistently and/or regularly--this is an event that S8 should reconsider...or at least consider giving players the option to immediately opt-out of participating, so as to avoid all the pop-ups of points earned, or using up turns in the mine searching for minerals and instead finding points.

I have over 42,000 points and the other 2 behind me are about 5000 but always going with 30 💎 I've been playing non stop because I don't sleep due to chronic pain. Anyhow, I have to keep using 7 gems 💎 for bigger animal harvests. A third unexpected person came up. My second seems to be jumping a thousand points a day all of a sudden, after staying well below me for half the event. I tried to stay ahead for awhile but I just can't be bothered putting that much time in. I hadn't intended on winning in the first place, that was dumb luck, but when they started fighting me it got personal. Now I just can't keep up even if I put heaps of time in. I'll suffice with my accidental second place, as #3 is less than half our points I'm not worried.

Before I say anything else I want to fully congratulate those who have worked hard and earn the prizes they do. However I am so disheartened with this event. For some reason I don't get prior notice of events (via pop ups - whether this is because of where I live) and missed the start of the event. By the time I joined I was already 3000 points behind first place. That aside, I decided to give it a go and I did achieve the foal, so I know I shouldn't complain.

I use this game as distraction therapy from a health issue and have always found it fun but this time no matter what I do I can't get anywhere near the first three. I know it is only a game but we all put what we have in to this game and to make us compete against the other players seems really unfair. I believe if you achieve the final goal you should get the major prize. Anyway, this type of event makes my health worse so I won't be able to take part in these type of events which makes me unhappy.

Sad for you. I can understand it's disheartening. I'm think your group might have 18 players to start with and 2 players logged in sometimes during the event. Do keep a lookout in future and let me know if it happens again. Competing against players instead of the game is a totally different ballgame. We get the advantage if others have less play time or gems but on the flip side, we lose out to those who do.


They are the players logging in for the first time after the event has started. This way, players are playing against active players.

I started farm story years ago because of a gem earning bonus from dragon story. As many do, something there upset me and I just stopped playing. I came back to farm story because my kids didn't want to free up a console so that I could play a farming game. From that I am conditioned to spend to play. X dollars for X hours of entertainment isn't asking to much(movies, books, games, the cable bill, even the "free" things are not free). I was trying to go back to the dragons, right in the middle of a leaderboard event. Stopping by the forums for help in general. It is very different, the views, the community everything (with my views the forums are insulting). It is peaceful here, and friendly, helpful. Different games for diffents types of players is as it should be. Are they trying to make the games the same? The problems that a few of my fellow farmers are experiencing say that they are. I've been gone for years choosing to spend X dollars a month for all the "free" books I could read (my little appolusa
pony and i are skipping the new book from one of my favorite authors this pay period). I'm happy here now, please storm8, keep the games as different as they were.

I absolutely agree. After a whole events worth of time I have that many points. I'm on the same point scale as her. Some were just days of constant playing, others were paid for in cash boosting points. 11 days of that to get where the just logged in players are in an instant.If it's not a bug then that should be information given at the start of the event. Something along the lines of "this wheel can give 10,000 points in a spin so don't bother trying because the new guy who doesn't play in over 11 days deserves it more somehow". I hate to be this player but, from reading the other board it is exactly how it works. They are playing with that in the back of there heads. That someone else will do the work, pay the money but, to make it even something like this happens.

I am guessing that this may be possible due to players in different time zones. I just actually uninstalled my FS! And after over 2 years I feel like I can breathe again. It took people not playing fair and this greedy game and it's constant crashes to realize I really don't need this stress anymore. Life is short !!! I hope more people realize this. Oh I had over 52000 leaderboard points and first place. The 7th place came in the last few days and is leading today and I didn't want to fight for second because she wants it more than me...That was the straw that broke the proverbial camels back! 10,000 points in one day? Don't think so, well, unless you are paying for them. I will say, I noticed this days ago and mentioned it in an earlier post. I even stopped playing the leaderboard--just playing the game. The only leaderboard points I've gather have been from the spinner.....all below 50 points except once. Just looked at the list of players on my 4 devices. Again players have been changed--not added. However, the top 2 are still the same as before. All new players are in the middle and above, but could possibly pass the leaders. If the "original" low/bottom/last place players (and yes they are still there) had been dropped, then MAYBE I could see people being added.

I am a very lazy player and this was the first event I actively participated in since the game was released. Only 7 hours left and I finally got to 17,000 which was my goal. My group must not be very active either because I'm in 1st place, with 2nd at 11,000 and 3rd at 10,000.

I don't have or want any roaming animals and just wanted to see what was in the prize boxes. I didn't use any boosts or rainbows and without them, I don't see how anyone can reach 19,000. Well, I take that back. I only have 1 set of each type of penned animal. If I had more then maybe I could have reached 19,000. All-in-all, it kept me VERY busy trying to reach this far and I actually enjoyed it. I do feel bad that I'm going to get a unicorn I'm never going to place on my farm. So, if there is a way to give my prize to the 3rd person or to remove all my points so I'm number 20, please do so. Do you mean my level? I was 85 and then hit 86 yesterday. It was not a stress reliever. The game took away time I will never get back and gems unintentionally! And I could no longer play on my iPad. Constantly kicking me out.
I'm sooooo tired as I did force myself to stay awake at times. I wish I could get that week back!!! Now more time to exercise for my well being. Better than these games!

That's not the main prize, there is a larger unicorn and gold/ silver and bronze. Only the top two get the unicorn. I wasn't about to stress anymore or no way buy gems. I just had enough of this game/ bad players etc.

I am a very lazy player and this was the first event I actively participated in since the game was released. Only 7 hours left and I finally got to 17,000 which was my goal. My group must not be very active either because I'm in 1st place, with 2nd at 11,000 and 3rd at 10,000.

I don't have or want any roaming animals and just wanted to see what was in the prize boxes. I didn't use any boosts or rainbows and without them, I don't see how anyone can reach 19,000. Well, I take that back. I only have 1 set of each type of penned animal. If I had more then maybe I could have reached 19,000. All-in-all, it kept me VERY busy trying to reach this far and I actually enjoyed it. I do feel bad that I'm going to get a unicorn I'm never going to place on my farm. So, if there is a way to give my prize to the 3rd person or to remove all my points so I'm number 20, please do so. Also, I have a Late Bloomer goal that has been stuck in my To-Do list for several years. Anyway to remove that because I will not be feeding that Blossom Fawn, lol.

You could always put the Fawn out (and the Unicorn) out once, feed them, then put them back into storage after you collect from them. That will at least clear the goal from the queue and then they won't be wandering around. On the other hand, though it does take time to craft all that food, I have found my pets useful in getting expansion parts, and especially tools for the mine. This came in very handy during the last event when I was down to 0 picks and only 1 shovel left. Of course, we all play our own way ;)

4 hours left only the leader has over 19,000 points. Really hard to attain that many points if you don't want to spend money for gems

I played this game as much as I could for the whole event, stayed 1st or 2nd the whole last week and today the 5th place player decided they wanted the unicorn more than me. I cannot play the last 3 hours so it looks like I will be 3rd or 4th. Finally got to 7500 point milestone not using any boosts or buying anything. Oh well, I can always use the expansion papers. I don't see how anyone could make it to the 19000 point level and not stay online constantly or go broke using gems. Was it really worth it just to get a useless pet? I think not.

Leader in my group has less than 8900 points with 4 hours to go.

I only have 25,000 n I paid for gems and boosts and got boosts for the chocolatier I mean got everything except the rainbow boost she only had 5 rainbows did they really bring that many points? You can't store buildings (except for the limited time buildings that are only active during events and which later become only decorations); those have to remain on the farm no matter what. However, you can store the pet habitats as long as there are no pets placed in them. The way to store the pets is to tap on the pet carrier icon and selecting the pet to be put away (i.e., into the carrier). That sends them into your cellar. Once the habitat is empty, you can store that as well.

This is how the many players who have been receiving pets from the many different events are able to cycle the pets in and out--at whim, or as appropriate to the season--without having farms overrun with pet habitats. Just remember to store the animal AFTER you have collected from it, but BEFORE you feed it again.

So, with regards to the Blossom Fawn and the Unicorn, they will probably need to be fed the first time you put them out. Feed them, and that will satisfy the goal. The pets will roam about for a bit, and then in about 5 hours (I think it was 5), they will return to their habitat and start jumping up and down, just like the livestock animals. Scoop over them with the bucket to collect what they've found, and then tap on the habitat and store the pets. Or leave them out, now that you know that can go in and out, and let them help you with expansion parts, coins, and the occasional gem or two.

Yep, the newcomers now have 13k+ points and have beat out me and the other guy that were working hard for the top two places. This was the most disappointing event and this game isn't getting another cent from me.

Need help...I am a level 24 player, reached 8500 points in leaderboard event, went to get my unicorn foal from cellar. It was there, but when I went to remove it from cellar to farm, it simply disappeared. Is this a glitch or am I supposed to now do hide and seek for this foal on my farm, lol. I can't find it anywhere. I'm new, so maybe I'm missing something.

The final prize is very disappointing. The gold unicorn is tiny!! One square and scaled very small. My duck towers over it and it looks pretty lame compared to the duck. That was a fair amount of work for such a lame gold unicorn. I realize I got the regular unicorn animal which is cool but I wanted to collect larger prize staues. I thought it was going to be scaled to the size of the duck and thought it was going to be sweet. Oh how wrong I was. Beware of the next leaderboard event.

I was TOTALLY disappointed too, I wasn't expecting such a small 1x1 square gold unicorn statue for all the endless hard workssssssss put into it for the last many days!!! I WAS HOPING IT WOULD BE THE SAME SIZE as the previous DUCK TOWER... I even had set aside the 4x4 space for the incoming unicorn statue already... but it turned out to be of 75% reduced in size?

I know! I saw people saying they had 16000 plus points and im like how?!

I ended with just under 5000. 2nd place was 600 points below me and 3rd was less than 80 below them. Their points didnt move after the evening before this ended.

I visited one and they hadnt collected so they could have won the pet. I guess they have lives. Unlike me when I see anything with rainbows!!!

But yeah ive used hundreds of earned gems on Dragon. Couldn't see myself buying any for anymore events on here.

NOW I see how so many players reached the end prize. And why I only had about 6000 points. Using one 7 gem boost during the last 30 mins.

This event started on the 13th and I didnt notice it until the 19th. Im lucky to have ended up in a casual group. Because the first time we had one of these I was behind over 600 points the first day.

Just like dragon where I won many times, I worry that they'll put me in a high gems to burn group and I wont be able to compete.

I was number 1-3 on there. Now im about 1500 points behind. I was going to use gems but decided to let it go.

I dont need to win all the time! I also dont care about the size of the trophy. I just want the animals!

No one else in our group was even close, so I knew that I would get the majestic-sized unicorn (being either first or second place). However, having seen the 1st place duck statue on certain farms from last leadership event, I worked day and night ... and I mean WORKED HARD, to get that sized statue! I also bought gems and used plenty of them for boosts to achieve 1st place (I know, sad huh?). Life doesn't give us "normal" people trophies very often, so when we work hard for one, we deserve the one we have seen others get for a similar event.

C'mon Storm8, do the right thing! Please don't trot out the argument that you designed the trophy to save land space on our farm - after all, so few people actually get one of these statues, that they should be able to decide whether or not to place it in storage or to use four valuable squares to display it. I totally agree and find myself annoyed every time I see my gold unicorn. I have no desire to compete in another leadership event after feeling duped by the gold unicorn. I think TL made a poor decision here because people seemed to be shelling out a fair amount of gems for the event and it will be interesting to see if people continue with the next event after this disappointment. I know I won't be competing or at least won't be spending any gems on the event.
