Good Luck Everyone! I will try to keep track this time but not sure I'll be able to keep updating! Work has been insanely busy of late and I've had to be firmly stuck in the adult responsibility world quite a lot lately! I usually post the element or elements I used in each battle to win in bold.

When I have time I add what I might use each round ahead of time in orange, please keep in mind I do not consider myself an expert and you may know better than I what to use. One piece of advice for the new battler would be, you have to pay attention to the second element of your fighter even if you aren't using it in your attack. If it is weak to one of your opponents elements you are more likely to lose. That is why I post both elements and bold the element I used.

so if i read right, we have 3 food rounds. total food : 3000 apples
in the past , each round gave 300 apples (except some but some round gave 1000 apples) , so we can say that if we win the 30 rounds tourney, we got about 9000 !

At first I was really let down that we only got 200 coins but then they increased to 400 and then 600 followed by apples 750 If I remember correctly... From what I read they increase so if that means we get more apples with each round than YES!!! If it ends up being less apples then ouch :/
As for the artwork animal it is interesting! I like it and hope I finish in time and end up getting it :D

I agree. Food is main incentive to bother with tournaments. I couldn't believe it when I realised first win was 300 coins. After all it cost 3000 to enter! yes, food appeared after Rd 5 - 750 apples but I used most of my stored food on Leaderboard so am not happy that we receive only coins for most rounds. As usual epic super rares are being beaten by low levels so at Round 7, I have spent way more than I've received. I won't be waking up to fight this tournament - that's for sure

So far that's all I've tried it on it just came out of evolving :)

water hit critical shot on garnet pony in round 8, so weak against water (so far)

Yes, I'm android too and hit strength does not display. It makes it very hard to gauge strength and weakness of elements.

You are welcome! My Garnet has given me multiple critical hits using birthstone so I'm impressed too! When used against Saphire Sphinx, fire element was weak but birthstone was critical. I think this was just luck as birthstone is weak against water.

I made a Color Coded-Weakness Chart to help me in the Battlegrounds a long time ago, so I just use that same Chart and copy and paste for the different animal types.

I also want to add, Storm8 may have changed the hardness on the rounds since I noticed most of them were super easy and took me 1 fight with them to win almost every round.
That is awesome!!

I just defeated Cave Art Sabertooth with Crystal Unicorn. However, it took me 4 tries to beat Sabertooth. I didn't use my Crystal Unicorn (CU) in the entire tournament to save it for the final round. Although others think CU is a good fighter. I feel as a precious Ultra Rare animal CU is overrated. In many tournaments, I found many "cheap" Super Rare animals sometimes give me 1-2 critical-hit punches in the first try. Compared to some Ultra Rare animals, including CU, they can hardly give me a single critical hit in many tries. It can be frustrating. As far as the level of the difficulty of this tournament is concerned, I wouldn't say it's easier than other tournaments. I do have many easy rounds, but a few rounds did give me headaches. As I just indicated, some strong fighters (in theory) did not work. After 3 tries, I lost confidence and had to move on to the next fighter, and the cycle continue....

@supermaay Thank you for the tips, I agree the fighting with Ultra rare is defnitely not the way to go from what I have seen. I have won way more battles with my 5 basic element animals lvl 15. Rock Rhino, Pyro Pony, Lightning leopard, Pandaffodil, and Skyger. I haven't faught much with my CU since it's level 12 but I will try, next leaderboards I'm leveling her up and trying her out.

@mmumford Thank you too for the tips, Yes I noticed that too, and yes but they both lost :/ Which really surprised me since the 1 element common animals are usually the ones that beat the opponents.

I ended up winning the following round with (I think) Cold Turkey.... Ended up taking a nap afterwards so I can't remember 100% if it was Cold turkey but it most likely was.

HELP! Have mercy storm8. All day have I battled that corgi on level 23. Glacial Griffin 4 times lost. Crystal Unicorn 4 times lost. 2 times magic from Dumbledore and 2 times lost with plain old rock rhino. I appreciate everyone's help and suggestions but I would also love a little more support from TL. I have failed every single one of your 30 level tournaments because somewhere around level 23 it becomes impossible to defeat the opponent. You are like Lucy holding the football and I am Charlie Brown always believing that this time I will succeed. I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANY MORE !!!! 😧

Don't know if things have changed over time (without me noticing,) or what. For example, I used Egypt-Fire against Neopolitiger (Ice Cream-Nature.) Egypt was N (Fire S.) I thought Egypt was strong to Ice Cream. Another one, though maybe just outdated: used Xmas-Electric (expecting both were strong) against Dark-Water. But Xmas was N (Electric S.)

Please let me know if anyone knows of a good chart, or if you have info on these or (other?) changes to the elements... Thank you!

I agree with you Phaedrakiki, elements for me that should have worked against the ornament octopus (who is Xmas and water) like Skull and autumn etc. were neutral. And I have noticed that at times they have changed the strengths and weaknesses. Now with all the new elements theyve been adding, Birthstone, Rainbow, Magic, Zodiac we really need a new chart. I've been keeping track of what I found works or doesn't and it'd be good to contribute so we can form an updated spreadsheet.

Don't feel alone Henrietta. I always prepare for at least one all day double digit attempt versus some opponent, usually towards the end. No matter how easy it may be going. Many times there are two. This tourney took me from Thursday to Saturday just to beat 2 opponents. Lunar Whal and Ornament Octopus. I beat the unicorgi either with my Cthulhu or unicorn. So for me a gem or gem and water animal does it. I know you've been using the unicorn. But try a strong water or a Gem with water. A lot is chance. For example why would my level 15 unicorn beat a unicorgi but yours wouldn't? So knowing I will hit that brick wall somewhere along the line, I try to mark my time and battle every hour I can in hopes to complete the tourney. Hoping you conquer your "Waterloo" and breeze through the remaining seven.

Thanks so much for your encouragement. I cannot fathom why what works for some does not work for others. Perhaps I persisted too long with the glacial Griffin but he worked for others. One would hope that Crystal Unicorn would be a good choice for many opponents but not in this case. After 20 attempts with super and ultra rare animals it was frostfang that finally brought down the supercorgi. Go figure. Thank you for the water suggestion earlier 😉. Now I am stuck on 25 with 3 failed attempts. Oh well, no complaints. It's only a game and I still have 6 waking hours to overcome 😀

I am by no means an expert, but I have found more often than not the basic common animals win against thought opponents. I also try to look at both elements of the opponent.
