It says 10 Shimmery Cake Pops but the counter says 30. They want us to make 10 or 30 of the 5hr cake pops?

Okay, after checking back carefully it seems that there's only one oven from this update. So I guess this should be do able. I could see this as a way to spice up the game from S8, but...

I hope that we will get a Real Christmas (month-long) goal next week, because this is definitely isn't one!

I've reported this earlier. It's suppose to be 30 from members' feedback.

Based on available information thus far, without having to buy anything else to complete goal, completing the goal will result in a net LOSS of

(22,640)

and that's if you only buy one oven, master all the recipes, and sell all of the food cooked.

If I have time I will type up something that shows the math.

I understand we get new items but not making any profit is a no go for any type of business!
Sure there are grand opening prizes, daily specials, etc.
But in the long run it is about profit to maintain lifestyle.

It appears that all of the recipes on the oven are unlocked after you build it. Is this true? Also, can the appliance be purchased without buying the tiles? It is not greyed out in my appliance tab.

Yes both are true. I bought the oven before I placed tiles while working on my goals.

I don't look at it this way. The oven and all 3 recepies are unlocked from the very beginning, so the goal is really optional. The benefit for completing the goal is you get a 48 gem decor for free. So it's like you exchange 23k gold (if 3squares' calculation is correct) and some hard work for 48 gems, which to me sounds like a very good profit.

Of course, if you don't even like the final prize and are tight on gold, just don't do the goal. Nothing loss :)

I don't normally have trouble with goals since I play all the time even during work (blush), but I'm glad they fixed it for those who find it more difficult due to the shorter timed recipes and the 9 day limit.

i like this much better than last week's mini goal! but i wish the recipes all came in any order so i could work on the 5-hour stuff now and save the 1-hour bakes for the weekend.

In another 5 hours I'll be done with this goal. Have to say I like it a lot better than last week's goal and do like the update better as well. Still disappointed, however, that we have yet to receive a Christmas update.

Also I am actually very disappointed that all of the Christmas/winter items are only available for gems. I am 19, in college, and work three nights a week. Think I have the money to spend on gems? Nope.
Don't know why S8 would give us gem only items and other games coin items but Bakery Story seems to be getting the worst of it all lately. Hopefully that changes soon.

I just finished the 10 snowball popcorn and the 10 shimmery cake pops, bought one winter bouquet and tried to buy the second one ... it does not register. I force closed, I uninstalled, nada. The second bouquet will not count, it still shows to buy a second. Am I missing something here?

Never mind, it just fixed itself ... so the error was on my end. After I tried and tried, it eventually stuck and the goal is gone. Done. Kinda disappointing, though. Not even a pop up for the final prize.
