Yes Emerald Dragon was a tough opponent this time. Storm8 did not let us win this time with our same animals, I mean Treent, Trick or Treent and so on. But when it is attacked each time with the same animals against e.g. Emerald Dragon win, it would be boring for the duration. I have noticed that it is not always good to fight with the same animal, okay, many have won so already. But I always try against Crystal Hybride, with Super Rare, Ultra Rare Animals, and preferably from the World Event, Storybook and so on to fight. But it is annoying if you hang on the same opponent for a day or longer. I wish you good luck for your last laps, I'm very sorry you had such a bad luck at Emerald Dragon. :D

As a low lvl or mid level player it is very hard to complete battles, well it is not impossible but a little luck or preparation is involve too... I am seeing the battle there will be a lot of animals you might not have ... well you do not need a crystal unicorn CU but of cause having it helps you greatly in some ways....

I did not use this particular method when I am climbing up to mid levels I am level 50 but I do understand the pain you all are going through(I believe everyone does since we all need to start at level 17 lol) I am a player who like designs more than the animals who help me in battles so I tend to level up the animals I like first before the elements that will help me eg I would level up EPIC fire/nature 2 times when my ultra rare UR in storage & I should epic a different elements type but this is your game so if you like to be competitive in battles at level 15 or 17 you can use this method

As you proceed apples is always the main thing to factor your EPIC & storybook tales ... well I would go for storybook since that is like a free UR animal be it in storage or future use when you have a better supply of apples...

You DO NOT NEED CU to win battles you need to learn elements & getting the basic animals first, yes you might think it is impossible because of storybook quest... be it you are doing well with commons or other means... I recommend Super rare SR to battle the lvl20 Crystal/gemstone UR you face in future battle.

If I will to tell you 300K apples is all you need to start off & the require animals to be competitive in battles you might not think it is possible well think again my friends

You just need 6 basic elements it is up to you be it fire/water or fire/earth ....pick any 6 hybrids you prefer but I strongly recommend this 3 animals

Aurora Pegasus Dark/Nature SR
Gold Lion Thunder/Fire SR
Glacial Griffin Water/Earth SR

I specific these breedable animals because of their rarity & income do remember you are a low level.. $$ will help you & more importantly EACH ONE OF THEM takes less than 100K apples so that makes a total of 300K apples...

well if you do not have these 3 animals your animals which will still help you...

Reckless Roc thunder/fire SR
Blizard Water/Earth SR

same logic as above you can still do your storybook quest but having these 3 animals will make you less painful in future battle

you can compare all the 3 animals with the list I put up on page 2 post 18 ... you will always have an animal switching in between these 3 animals.. this DOES NOT GURANTEE you a win but it sure helps a lot for low level players to know what are the animals you want to use in battles in future... good luck

Compare this with mmumford who put up with a very nice post on page1 #9 you will see all 30 animals you have at least 1 of the 3 animals I have mention.

again fighting is like breeding no way some1 tells you "hey use this animal A X animal B it will land you a CU Crystal Unicorn" some got like in 1st try, others a few tries & some still have not gotten it.
