Anyone know how many times a crop needs to be harvested for each level

Anyone know how many times a crop needs to be harvested for each level before reaching the mastery level?

I tested this out on the lettuce crop and it worked out to be 500 for the first mastery, 1000 for the 2nd., 2000 for the 3rd. and I'm assuming 4000 (double each level). Pretty discouraging when you're trying to get the Red Quinoa done!
