As I can see in his or her island (I cannot tell, It is chinese) there are four full nests, 2 breeding dens both active, 2 evolution temples, the diamond temple activated, and 12 gold giving dragons, all adults, oh, and the 2X boost.

Plus, I guess they had loads of food.

In addition, many the habitats are upgraded to hold 4 animals.

Pathfinder and Halloqueen evolved, Huntress, Troll and Luck from the nest, 20 hour breed (Island) ready, about 400k food and a 2x boost. That's how you get 2452 points in a short time :)
Usually I boost in the end, but this time, because I had so many things ready at exactly the right time, I did it at the start.
I always try to get to the last milestone, grand prize is a bonus if won. Habitat and Illusionist are in storage, got them both already. Haven't got Bonsai and Dreamcatcher, so those will be new as well.

And my small, new island is still at zero points. Ofcourse one nest and evolution temple and only 7000 apples, so reaching the habitat milestone would be really nice.

Just a little bit of math - How to get 4k points in a short time:
If you have 702 gold and 560k coins to spend, buy a 2x boost and speed hatch 56 Water dragons. 3 dragons per minute seems quite doable, so you'll end up at 4032 points in about 20 minutes...

My main island is really quiet so far. I'm in the lead with 512 points. I only want the milestones, not even the last dragon so I'm not really trying. I guess having a 44 hour gold transfer to the nest got me bumped to first, short lived I'm sure.

My son and I are in the same group for my secondary account. Since I don't like the dragons, I won't have to fight him for them, lol. That group is quiet too, leader only has 279 points.

The last LB, I boosted at the beginning and started off with about 4k in points, it was a perfect wave of things ready to go. I was glad I did, ended up second. it was really competitive down to the last day.

I purchased it, completed breeding, got my points, then the game crashed, I refreshed and my points were at 351 instead of 366 but my 7 gold bars and the time remaining for my 1hr boost I purchased were gone?! What the... ???
I've uninstalled and reinstalled but my gold is still gone and I am not a happy camper.

I wrote a novel in the Black Friday thread. I had to start selling my dragons off to keep breeding for the sale dragons. I'm about out of land. I feel anger and resentment that I've supported a game but almost 5 years,yes...nearly 5 years to be ignored and not valued. I've been loyal and I've purchased things in the way early days to help keep things going and we are not asking for a lot to ask to be able to simply play. We are not asking for the world! We just want to play! It's simply not fair. The list of issues are long but not even being allowed to place a dragon or add one piece of decor or one habitat!
1 agree with you Shar. Things are dire for many of us. No one seems to care and the only response I've received is that we already got land this year and it's hard to give land to us. Guess we are doomed. Don't know what else to do or say. Beyond frustrating.

i bred a Ballet dragon, and the game did not give me the extra pts as i finishing hatching and place the dragon into habitant.
is it just becoz breeding for that is limited and expired? however, it shouldn't change the fact that i breed w/ two dragons in the den to get this one. why the game would not give the extra pts for breeding a super rare?

Yes I and some of my neighbours are having the exact same problem.

I had everything lined up, bought the one hour boost, and then collected everything and realised the gold had been taken and it showed the boost active just after but then it clicked off and I just got the regular amount of points.

One neighbour used the 3 hour boost and had the same problem more than once.

Needs fixing urgently please.

I looked really carefully at the meditation and zen dragons and was unable to see how they were offensive. It's probably similar to having a monk or nun dragon, or similar.
If they were meant to look like Buddha or any religious figure or deity those would be stepping over a line of pretty bad karma.
Something you can't make money out of.

As far as I could see there was no likeness to any religious figure or intent thereof.
Zen is a state of being, and meditation likewise. There's already an enlightenment dragon. Isn't there?

Depicting that is similar to a worshipping or prayer dragon. Unless it was meant to be Buddha it's not at all similar to a Jesus dragon.

Well, I've been searching through my storage to try to find it and couldn't so I came here to see if anyone was having the same problem. I guess this answers my question.

Sorry, but we've never been given a free collect decor from leaderboards. Usually the first prize in world events are a collect decor, but never leaderboards.

You don't get bonus points from common and unbreedable dragons.

A lot of people are having that problem. No word from S8 yet as far as I know. Just don't use it until they say they've fixed it, I guess. Otherwise it's just a gold pit. Like this whole event :rolleyes:

I was getting to the point where it was going to be a close call in being able to reach Dreamcatcher (which I already have), though then had over 700,000 firapples so fed my Glasswing from Lvl12 to Lvl15, that leapfrogged me into 2nd and grabbed Zen Dragon.

Doubt I'll finish 2nd as my group uses boosts, and I don't. Though my aim is always just the milestones, so very happy to grab them all as I usually miss the last 1 or 2 Dragons.

Hi Zaara! Forget bonsai, I barely made it to the 3k mark this morning. I'm currently sitting on 3,163 points and not going to try further, like you I'm more awaiting the Christmas set and I want a world event too. I'll leave my evolving dragons for that, hopefully we get a Christmas event...! :)

I am so disgusted with this game dropping constantly. I go to spin a wheel and the game drops. I have to endure the wait time to reload, timer on spin reset so no spin this go. I put on food only to come back to find one or two farms "didn't take". Visiting neighbors is almost impossible. It is affecting every aspect of game play now.

@Natasha_07 - The wheel was very generous today after spitting out 25 points with monotonous regularity all thru this event....so...without spending any gold I made it to fifth place AND 3560 points....ahhhhhh so torturously close...heard of Tantalus?

I still haven't gotten my rewards yet. I don't understand why it's taking so long. I got 2nd place. I wish there were maps included in at least the top 10.

I suppose it's all part of the game, but I find it really tacky when you have the top spot for days and you've worked really hard for it, then you have to go to work, and check in to see someone rush to take it from you, literally in the last seconds. C'est la vie.

So sorry... It would have happened to me too this time, but luckily I was able to play during the last minutes. I had to feed 7 dragons from level 9 to 10 + use 1,5x boost to stay in the first position. I used more than 200 000 food, but I got the Meditation dragon.

All the best for the community event...the final prize is beautiful. I went ahead and bought the new habitat even though it looks like a toughie to win!
