Arrggg. I have finally got a decent store of food enough to complete a storybook, interesting animals to win and I'm going on a cruise ship in a few days with no Internet access!! Oh well, I have a 42 hour timer in the breeding den so that's exciting and likely to hold up the story progression anyway, I'll be able to have enough food to feed that particularly hungry mouth when it hatches!

I definitely want the Cheshire Cat and the lovely courtyard, but for me it sometimes makes more sense to skip the feeding requirements as I use small farms and can only accumulate 10,000-20,000 apples per day.

Personally, my job has been made much easier by the fact that I don't like themed animals, so basically every storybook is likely to not interest me, which leaves me plenty of time and resources to focus on what I really enjoy. This time around for instance, I'm aiming at completing step 2 (for runes and food) and then stop there. In the meantime I was able to focus on trying for the black Friday animal (I may have gotten the Summer Equifox this morning which was the one I really wanted, I hope I'm not mistaken...) and when it's over I'll go on trying for the few still remaining, completely ignoring the book. It's refreshing to be able to set your own priorities.

I've been lucky with Racmoon, with Jade Kirin / Obsidian Cylops and then Dreambeat, now the 2 Racmoon in the breeding. But best are 3 Racmoon, one saves food. But again costs gemstones for me to breed speed.

Yes it is not only Racmoon but also Conducktor, Armordillo to feed and develop. To develop and breed so much fodder, as time for the animals. So now comes the next task and you have to sell these animals again, it would be much more meaningful to feed the animals you want to keep. :D

Since toy elephant is dark/earth.. My CU+dark/earth halfmoon howler has given loads of Racmoon fails.. So this may help you with Racmoon, good luck!

I just finished the last chapter and I thought the tea cups were 2/hour, but I had planted the 8 hour mystic mangos in my 6 farms, each one gave 24 tea cups so it completed the 125 needed, that's 3/hour from that plant, so it's a doable finish :)

Hello All, Today is day 9, better known as the "Day Defore the Last Day" for those of us who began the storybook on the first day it appeared.
I've finished chapter 9 and here is my plan for getting to the end. I quoted the goals for chapters 9 and 10 for easy reference.

1. My Alice is already at level 15.
2. One (or 2) hours before chapter 10 begins I will plant 3 farms with Mana Bannas to harvest as soon as the goal appears. Then I will immediately plant 3 more to harvest after another hour goes by, or in the morning.
3. I just planted 3 farms with rune prunes (20hr) *we collect 3 teacups per hour*...so that should give me the 125 teacups needed. I'll get the rest by planting charm cherries.
4. My Armorillo is almost ready to put in a habitat. (My goal for hatching is complete)I'll only have one to feed and we must feed an Armorillo through 7 levels so i can't escape an evolution period. I'll feed it 15, evolve and then the remaining 20.

Yay got my 12 runes today, and will now stop trying to pass the chapters for this storybook. I want to save my apples for another even, and focus on breeding the Fairy Merry along with the Christmas Trio animals before they expire.

Almost fool proof but not for me! They've named this storybook appropriately! Wonderland is right. I've never had 5 big epic fails in a storybook before. My first attempt at a racmoon I got a 16 hour knitten kitten. Second attempt was a 17 hour Pygmy Giraffe! Plus I had to hatch Alice for 9 hours as well. Luckily I had a baby racmoon or I would have quit right there, however it cost me 35 gems. Moving on to the armadillo, first fail with a rhino and pyro pony net me a 15 hour storking, second attempt gave me a 13 hour rampage. Hoping I could speed breed one, I got a 19 hour Rubble Rooster! Fortunately I had a baby armadillo & 35 gems, which makes me wonder if the game knows what I have in way of baby animals. If this hadn't been a childhood favorite, I would have ditched it 2 days ago. It's not like I don't have any animals in my storage waiting to be hatched. I'm still fuming over this, and luckily I got enough runes that I can buy the Queen of Hearts habitat. It will be a reminder to me, to quit while your still ahead. I guess I broke my spell of breeding only common animals. A wonderland indeed.

Doing really well this story book so I'm pretty happy. Alice in wonderland is a great tale. 2 chapters left to go. When what's in the den finishes, I'll put in an armordillo attempt. Alice is already level 15 (as is hatter) planty of food left as well. So I can't complain at all. Unless my next breeding attempt goes horribly wrong of course.

I had two but didn't realise one needed to be evolved, it's lucky the evolve time for them is only 4 hours! Good luck!

Well Guess I am giving this one up after 5 failed attempts at amordillo. I have been trying to breed magmacore for a year now to fulfill the goal and could not and now I am on my Third plus rubble rooster. Really? Ok storm 8 I quit.

Bleh. It's really hard being thrown into high level category before I even reach 40. (got 40 in this one during the event). Used to a mid-section I guess from DS. Ages taken to try and get racmoon then ages trying armourdilla, now not able to finish. Timer is too long on what's being bred to allow for another breed attempt vs what time remains. But, if there's leaderboard I guess that'll work out nice later today lol.

Thank you! I decided to skip feeding my only armordillo 35 times and waiting for evo time and just didn't the gems. However, I was a bit annoyed to see that after feeding the armordillo the gems required to skip the final feedings didn't go down.? Doesn't it normally go down?
