I'm glad they thought of people who celebrate summer in winter months like australia. I like these decorations myself but won't put them out until summer months. New oven though :)

Kinda bummed no new/old thanksgiving stuff but, happy about the new oven and tables/chairs. Won't use that until summer though. Let's hope the new oven is not worth gems😑 Fingers crossed.

I love this! And do my eyes decieve me or is there actually a person of color in the display! Tbh I was thinking we'd get a thanksgiving update but this looks so fun. Still too cutesy but I'll take it.

On one hand, I'm disappointed we didn't really get any autumn/colder weather updates this season, except for the autumn sale in September and the Thanksgiving box :(

On the other, it's nice to see some diversity in this update, and I hope that continues :) I also agree it's a nice update for southern-hemisphere dwellers.

Hope they've got some goodies in store for Black Friday :)

This is a really fun, and detailed theme. Will be great for summer decorating. Kudos for a new appliance that i also hope is for coins

Anyone else get the feeling S8 is just working through a backlog of finished releases and not actually coming up with anything new? Like this one could have been done last winter, but didn't "make the cut" at the time? Maybe it's just me, but it would explain the seemingly random Alice goals and this one.

I'm an Australian player and am so disappointed in this update :(

I was really hoping for more fall/Autumn and/or winter decor to lead into Christmas decorations. Yes Christmas is not the same here as in the northern hemisphere but people here decorate exactly the same way everyone else does (minus the snow!) so I feel like this Hawaiian theme is just random.

So fingers crossed for an awesome Black Friday sale!!!!

TIMELY! What else can be said about this update! And in May, we will most likely get another one of those Halloween updates with another black dog and plenty of black decor! Hopefully, Thanksgiving update will hit our games in June... HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

My sentiments exactly. Really cute, and I love having another round pink table with a tablecloth, but I had hoped for something with autumn or holiday colors. Ah well, on to Christmas decor! This one will be appreciated when summer comes.

I wouldn't doubt it. Alice in Wonderland was an event theme in RS2 awhile back -- sometime last spring, I believe. I wonder whether this had intended to coincide with that event, or whether repeating that theme here was an easier option than coming up with a new one. Either way, they put work in redoing the art, and it was well-done, so I'm not complaining. But the thought did enter my mind when I first saw it over here.

The best thing about it is that there are finally people of color in the decorations. This I LOVE! Other than that, the update is nice, but not feeling a summery, beach theme at this time of the year.

Isn't this the second gem oven this month in here (yogurt oven) ? I may stop playing this and just play rs. I will save a ton of money just concentrating on one game anyway.

There was a time when RS was neglected and BS was the little princess, LOL! :)

I play both so I prefer to have great content in both, was kinda hoping for an early Christmas sale or Thanksgiving update/sale across all my story games. :(

If we don't get 12 gems for mastering it, then I'm not buying any. Not worth it unless there's an incentive.

When was the yogurt oven released? I didn't even know there is one till I read your post! Can't believe how I missed that... I was reading weekly update posts every Tuesday :confused:

Bought 3 Hawaiian and 3 Yogurt ovens. The dishes are cute but I think I won't cook them till next summer. Still waiting to see what S8 would offer for black friday!

You spent 15 gems on the yogurt ovens that are going to yield only 12 gems, you lose! Not a good investment. Not sure about the Hawaiian oven yet as per gems awarded for each recipe. I bought one yogurt oven when it came out, almost done with all three recipes for the 12 gem reward. So I gain 7.

I have enough gems to waste so losing a few isn't big deal :D I wish the recepies in the Hawaii oven could be more "tropical" though. You know, wild flowers, crazy amount of tropical fruits... The yogurt machine recepies are good :)

i'll probably get 2 ovens (again, next summer). i too consider the food part of the decor!

i think the decor's not too badly priced. not great, but if i got the beach day or the surfs up on my 2nd try at a hawaiian crate, i'd be pretty happy with it. glad the rest of it is for coins, wish the walls were too!

You're welcome glad to. I didn't buy gem ovens before but the last two were too cute to pass up. I got only one of each oven though just for decor purposes since I think they're cute.

Still got the tables and chairs since at least they're for coins, was a gem heavy update I admit. BS is a free game to play but for longevity it's why there is so many gem items to keep it going, but at least we get 2-3 appliances a month that are for coins with goals included. So at least players that can't do or don't like gem ovens can buy coin ovens instead.

Oh its summer again i didnt know....

If we have some players that has summer still there is plenty of summer items. I cant find any winter items to decorate with at all.
At least bring back the old winter items then. Very disappointing release. I will not use any of it.
