The 3 Election Ciders from goal 4: after goal 4 you can sell these.
The 3 Lapel Pins from goal 6: KEEP 2 Lapel Pins to make the 2 Election Vests at goal 7. Only 1 of the 3 Lapel Pins will be an extra one you may sell.

Maybe also handy:
Needs for goal 5: 10 filled ballot, 6 wool, 4 iron, 2 gold, 2 Golden Pin.
Needs for goal 6: 6 iron, 3 insider dirt, 3 ballot paper.

Has anyone gotten "official votes" from fishing or mining? I've fished a good 20 times, using every bait, and didn't get anything. Also tried mining 5 times, and nothing. It says underneath that you can earn them through deliveries, mining and fishing, but so far only getting them from deliveries

I think it's possible to get all the prizes at the Machine without the Ballot Box, if you are able to get them from deliveries and have enough tools & getting those Official Votes Coins with Mining and Fishing.

I got 4 "official votes" yesterday from the goals. Nothing since then! I have sent deliveries, mined, gone fishing....nothing.

I have sent over 40 deliveries, fished 10 times and mined 10 times and no official votes. I dropped gems to get the ballot box since that appears to be the only way that I will obtain the 'official votes'. If getting votes from fishing pond is going to be anything like the camping event then it will not be worth it to me to try. It took 150 of every lure including 10 golden lures just to get 8 coins for the camp event. I had hoped the team has fixed the drop rate on the fishing pond this time but based on the posts so far it doesn't look like it.

What's up with the Election Float? Did you notice if yours was resized? I had placed mine on my farm earlier, and when I came back to my game this afternoon, I noticed it was off-center from where I placed it. So I put it in my cellar and took it back out and now it won't fit in the place I had it before. It's bigger. I wonder if they're updating it to be functional or something. Odd.

Was just thinking the same thing. Crafting times for these items are very long and time is short. I looked but don't see a flag for speeding the crafts. Hard to get all slots open and the crafting done in just a few days. We have to hope steps 6&7 are short craft times. I'm still cranking through the stuffing as well.

I've reached step 4 but cannot begin. I've managed to open all slots in the machine, and have 16 hours of cakes and stuffing crafting. So at step 4 but must wait hours more for slots to open up. The timing of the crafts is just too long. This can't be a 6 day event. Or we need a flag, like with the treat pumpkin.

I wasn't asked for the Cookies or Cake on the other goals. I still have mine in my barn. I think, if it is needed again, they will show up in the Election Tent to be made again. Personally I don't think they will be needed again but I can't confirm this yet.
The Lapel Pins from goal 6 will still be up to be made at goal 7. Save 2 Lapel Pins from goal 6 though to Make those 2 Election Vests at goal 7.

Yes me too, if theres no pony involved there's really no point in finishing this event. So frustrating though when you think of all the tools and baits we used, not to mention spending money on tents and items to stock up for deliveries

Just want to drop a quick post here in case I don't get a chance to before the servers shut down later for maintenance.

I agree with you all. This event is very short and keeping me on my toes. I'm babysitting the game when I can to keep my tent crafting around the clock and making deliveries. Normally I don't mind maintenance given it's rare but for this event, I felt that I needed the time with only 5 days and few hours. The crafting duration is long and you'll probably need to open up at least 4 to 5 slots for the Tent.

I'm checking on the pony prize but given support is limited over the weekend, I'm not sure if I can get an answer until Monday morning, California time, but I'll check all the same. I should think there would be additional goal after Goal 7 which rewards us with the Pony. Members who got ahead, please help to post. Thanks Funky for the info! I haven't time to update event post but will do after the maintenance.

I wasn't asked for the Cookies or Cake on the other goals. I still have mine in my barn. I think, if it is needed again, they will show up in the Election Tent to be made again. Personally I don't think they will be needed again but I can't confirm this yet.
The Lapel Pins from goal 6 will still be up to be made at goal 7. Save 2 Lapel Pins from goal 6 though to Make those 2 Election Vests at goal 7.

I earn my gems through playing so im very careful with how I use them. However I used about gems on the super long goals - I think that was foal 3 not sure - after that it gets much better. Im now on goal 6 and its looking much better. Keep checking your newspaper for ballots I bought some from there - I think people are giving up already �� Feel free to add me, I think ill have extra ones to sell once im done. Also check the buy/sell thread and you'll find lots of nice players who are more than willing to help :)

Thanks for the encouragement! I now am trying to mine gold but no such luck. Also out of mining tools....it's just never ending. I understand it should be challenging but it sure would be nice if we get a break every now and then!

Hot would be awfully nice if most of us actually had some SUCCESS even though our lives and schedules are absolutely too crazy to devote every waking minute to these events. I haven't finished even one event... in at least 6 months. Maybe longer. And with each new event the opportunity to actually help each other finish gets smaller and smaller. I'm really starting to think that I'm going to drop all of these games soon. Which makes me sad. So let me get back to my futile efforts to get this pony. Sorry for the complaining guys, but I just had to get this off my chest.

I did not use any gems in this event and I'm on the 7th goal. I opened a third slot on the tent and that seemed sufficent for crafting items. I tend to craft the shorter time items during the day or when I can play. The longer items for overnight or when I can't play. I also pay attention to what items need to be GIVEN and not just made. Setting the timer so I can queue the next item is helpful too.

When I am in "game mode" I check in every 30 minutes to make deliveries, craft items and delete orders that cannot be filled within a few minutes.

I did luck out and buy some ballots and wool on the market. I don't fish, mine or craft jewelry outside of events so I have a stockpile of tools and gold (thank you pot of gold prize from a previous event). I do not begin mining or fishing until I get the pop up for mandatory mining or fishing.

I currently have a family of 6 staying with my family for a week so dealing with my own 2 kids and their homework, 6 jet-lagged people (3 of whom need to do Their homework) plus touristy stuff...I don't have much time either.

For those who asked and for those who wanna know cause of space problems in their barn, hereby :D :
The 3 Election Cookies from goal 2: after goal 2 you can sell these.
The 6 Election Cakes from goal 3: after goal 3 you can sell these.
The 3 Election Ciders from goal 4: after goal 4 you can sell these.
The 3 Lapel Pins from goal 6: KEEP 2 Lapel Pins to make the 2 Election Vests at goal 7. Only 1 of the 3 Lapel Pins will be an extra one you may sell.

Maybe also handy:
Needs for goal 5: 10 filled ballot, 6 wool, 4 iron, 2 gold, 2 Golden Pin.
Needs for goal 6: 6 iron, 3 insider dirt, 3 ballot paper.
Needs for goal 7: 16 filled ballot, 10 wool, 4 silver, 3 gold, 3 insider dirt, 3 Election Cupcake, 3 ballot paper, 2 Lapel Pin.
Depending on if you have to Make 1 OR 3 Election Cupcake (Making 1 is part of the goal. Perhaps you may be lucky to get 2 from Stormie, Newspaper or Neighbor's Shop so you won't have to Make the 2 extra Election Cupcake to make the 3 Election Gift):
Needs for 1 Election Cupcake: 1 cheese, 1 white sugar, 2 flour, 4 milk.
Needs for 3 Election Cupcake: 3 cheese, 3 white sugar, 6 flour, 12 milk.
Goal 7 is a MAKE goal, so you don't have to wait for everything to be ready to Give.

Sad to see, that after you finish this event, it's no longer possible to make items in the Election Tent. Would have been nice to be able to Make like the Election Cupcake to help out farmers so they only have to Make 1. Would be great if S8 can make this possible or in future events.

Thanks to Funky for all the info here. It has been a help. I have lined up all the extra items I need for the vests, etc in step 7, like wool and silver. Just need tent to clear out these long making crafts so I can begin. Very hard still to find the official votes for the prize machine. I'm fishing, mining, sending deliveries. I don't see how I will get all the prizes, especially when I've received duplicates already. Wishing all good luck !!

I do agree with You. Wish this game was less stress and more easy to succeed. That's actually what I need in life, just an enjoyable hobby with cute animals and some challenge, but not another full time job.

Does anyone know if you still receive tokens from deliveries or mining after you complete the pony goal? I haven't received any tokens since I got my pony. I'm not sure how to complete the election machine goals if these methods are removed.

Also, as a tip, I had 50 mining tools and used up 30 looking for gold, after only finding 2 pieces (even using some mining boosts), it occurred to me we all have that "oro vein" for a bronze cowbell. I ended up getting the rest of everything I needed from just the one vein. You have to have pick axes to use on it, but you can mine from it up to 10 times. I should have done it in the first place and saved myself a lot of stress

Seeing a lot duplicates in the token machine as well. I turned in four sets of official votes and below are the results.
1. Turned in 15 votes and had 10 unique items and 5 duplicates
2. Turned in 8 votes and had 4 unique items and 4 duplicates
3. Turned in 7 votes and had 1 unique item and 6 duplicates
4. Turned in 7 votes and had 2 unique items and 5 duplicates

Total 37 votes turned in for 17 unique items and 20 duplicates. I received 1 official vote from mining, 0 from fishing, 3 from deliveries all the rest from the tasks or the ballot box.

Not certain if I will get the last 3 items, thankfully the items that I wanted I did received from the token machine. Well back to making cupcakes before I finish the last three gifts. Good luck everyone.

I got a set from fishing today, after getting the pony this morning. Have never received one from a delivery. As in the post above, I am receiving a lot of duplicate prizes so am very unlikely to finish the prize machine. There is a shopping cart icon to the right of the prize machine, a third tab. There is a question mark, a gumball machine, and this shopping cart. This won't load for me. Can you buy missing prizes??

Also, as reported earlier, I never got the option to buy the ballot box on my level 69 farm. Was this intentional for higher level farms?

I am at the last stage. I think in will be able to finish. I was not sure since I has a very busy weekend with no wifi most of the day.
Just as a positive feedback to S8, I like that all the crafts had to be made in the tent. Especially on the first few days, when ballot papers and filled ballots were hard to find. It kept the machines free to make things for delivaries. I wasn't sure initially, cause it meant lots of waiting. But anyway crafts don't appear till the particular stage, so it's better off in a separate machine. But I needed to add more slots (very painful to use the few paint I had collected) But it's helped queue up stuff since I couldn't log in too much.
After the first day, I found most of the ballot papers in the market an in nbrs stores.
I also like the idea of Thankful12 about using ore vein. I think I will try use it next time.

I am level 72 and I don't have the option to buy the ballot box either. The drop rate on official votes is terrible - I've been playing events for a long time now and I haven't seen it this bad before. :(:(

I was able to finish the event. I sped up the very long crafting items in about level 2 or 3 only when I was worried, but I likely could have finished without it. I did have to buy dirt on the market because I used up 16 mining tools and only found one dirt. Otherwise things went much more smoothly. Lots of ballots and papers on the market to help out. Thank you for all sharing. The pony is cute. It would have been nice it the vests and buttons and hats that we crafted for different animals actually were put on them. That would have been very cute. I would suggest that the team do that for future events.

Yes you will. For goal 7 you only need to make the items but you dint have to give them. Good luck :)

Final count 50 official votes turned in for 18 unique items and 32 duplicates.

I am happy for the players that received the final item with or without having to actually get all 20 items.

Wayyyy too many duplicates!!!! TL has to fix this. Luck based events are not fair. Not that I really wanted that big stand. I'm Canadian but still. I was able to get a few other items but I have 5 scarecrows and I had tons of dirt. You really need to respect the players more.

Just read above message so I went to my farm to check it out. My Voting Booths weren't showing either but the spots I had them on were not free either. I pressed on one of the spots and kept pressing. Then the Menu, whereby you can store items, appeared. I choose Store and now I see the Voting Booths in my Cellar :)

I can see the voting booths in my cellar, but when i place them back on my farm, they are still invisible.
