Halloween Event Minimum level is 6 for participation.

The Halloween Haunting Celebration is here! Fill orders and ask Citizens to collect Candy Corn for the Halloween Haunting Celebration Event!

How to Play?
1. Visit the Mausoleum!
2. Collect Candy Corn!
3. Earn awesome rewards!

Goals
Goal 1 of 4: Halloween Haunting
Deliver any order x10
Greet any citizen x10
Build a Haunted House x1
REWARDS: 30 candy corn

Goal 2 of 4: Halloween Haunting
Deliver any order x10
Greet any citizen x10
Build a Pumpkin Patch x1
REWARDS: 50 candy corns

Goal 3 of 4: Halloween Haunting
Deliver any order x10
Greet any citizen x10
Build a Gothic Mansion x1
REWARDS: 50 candy corns

Goal 4 of 4: Halloween Haunting
Deliver any order x10

Build an Old Coffin Warehouse x1

Haunted House - 300 candy corns

Pumpkin Patch - 850 candy corns
Home of the Big Bertha Pumpkin, all 1200 pounds of it!
Population: +10 | Size: 1x1

Gothic Mansion - 1700 candy corns
It's not owned by a scary vampire... or is it?
Accomodate: 10 houses (10 free starting slots)
Size: 2x2

Old Coffin Warehouse - 2600 candy corns
Without new customers it gets pretty dead in there.
Accomodate: 18 businesses (18 free starting slots)
Size: 2x3

I thought I would start a new thread for the Halloween Event that started this afternoon. You collect candy corn from deliveries and pedestrians and win the various prizes similar to other events. Unlike some of the previous events, all deliveries give candy corn.

I like this event because it's any order so it makes it faster to earn your prizes faster. But the black glitch is annoying.

I agree about the black glitch. It has been posted in the "bugs" thread, and they are working on it. I'm glad I know the layout of my factories, or I wouldn't be able to find the right one.

Does anyone what what the Mausoleum does? How about Promenade Point? Both are for sale in the marketplace, but they don't have a description other than the number added for population. I was wondering if they dropped candy corn every so often. They are gem items, so I don't want to buy them unless they give out candy corn......that disgusting little treat that I refuse to eat.

I don't think they do anything other than add to the population. It doesn't say so and none of the other civic buildings ever did such a thing during events so I wouldn't expect it to either. I assume they're just new additions to the list of civic buildings that we had with this new Halloween update. Kind of like how Bakery Story gets new ovens or new decorations, etc. But only using that as an example since I play BS other than Dream City.

No more inventory slot to do this. I have only 7 free slots. I'll give up.

I think they're new additions since they're under the Civic Buildings tab. The Mausoleum looks so tempting!

I would delete some items in the inventory to make space and do this event if I were you. Well that was what I did. If you see the 3rd and 4th prizes, they come with ready slots, 28 slots in total. Winning them is equivalent to getting 112 free parts (28 x 4). Why not? Besides they're limited edition buildings, it'll be great to decorate our cities for holidays. :)

I feel so far behind, and doing my math, I am at only 127 candy corn!

Update: About 24 hours later, I'm now on track with 397.

FYI- I purchased the mausoleum. All it did was increase population by 20, if anyone was still curious if it did any more. I didn't even get candy corn from those citizens who thank you for building it!

I deleted tge items needed to expand since i cant right now until the open the two bridges.

I just finished, thanks to having the Halloween Goals. Everything is really cute.....kudos to the team at Storm 8. Now I just need more expansion space to keep building my city.

I would like to thank S8 for the lovely prizes on this event. I absolutely love the Old Coffin Warehouse it's gorgeous, the only problem, I can't decide which direction to face it because all sides are worth seeing. :o Thanks again.

FYI- I purchased the mausoleum.

Does the mausoleum do anything now that it's the 31st? I see a new banner when starting up to "visit" the mausoleum, collect candy corn, win prizes. Curious what happens when you click on it.

As far as I know, that banner has been there since the event started. They mean that you can "visit" the mausoleum since now it's a building you can purchase and have in your city so people can "visit" it. It doesn't do anything other than increase your population.

Exactly. That's why I decided to purchase it- the banner from the very beginning made it sound like it might do something. It doesn't.
