What happened to the IOS option free gems for watching clips?

many neighbours playing IOS do not have this option anymore. just disappeared in RS

It still appears for me, but it's glitchy in that it'll disappear at times & reappear if you refresh the page.

But what bugs me more is that this option is only available for IOS users. Why not Android? It seems incredibly unfair.

It initially appears when I open my restaurant but disappears before I can click on it. Today however I accidentally touched a stove with food in process, and it gave me the option of watching an ad to speed food up. I did , hoping the gem button would reappear after. It did not :(
