Game Update

Please update your Farm Story 2 app to version 2.5.2.

I ran the update, but other than the icon changing and the opening screen switching to a Halloween theme, I do not see anything different. None of the characters are in costume, and other than what was already available for skins and decorations, nothing new has shown up in the Market.

Is this update...incomplete? Or will everything kick in once the current Halloween event ends?

Thanks :) I just downloaded the update. Same here. Nothing different yet showing on the farm. I'm excited to see how it's gonna look like and if there will be new items :o , though I still need space. My farm is crowded :D

Maybe next week Thursday/Friday a second Halloween event will start, since Halloween is at the end of October (if I'm correctly :confused:) . Maybe then the update will show us differences on our farm.

Had to delete this game as some of my of my things have not uploaded. For instance my beehive has disappeared, how do I get it back

Strange that your hive disappeared. Can you restart your device, clear cache and start your game again? Click on the space where your hive was, did you see your hive caption?

my app updated last night to the Valentine version and it crashes all the time. what is going on? are others having this problem? app freezes so i cannot move around or simply closes in mid action. is there a way to go back to the version i had yesterday? this one is impossible!!

edit: collecting food from the food mills seems to make the whole app crash. i simply can't farm like this!! each time it crashes, several previous actions are not recorded and i have to keep checking to see what "took" and what did not.

Hi caron7, Sorry to hear that you're having issues with your game. Mine is working fine. I'm afraid that version 2.6.4 overwrites the default version once you have updated it. Can you check if your device has plenty of space? Also try deleting the app and installing this version again and see if it works better. Start your new app without running other apps and let it settles for a few minutes before you start any activities. Hope this helps.

For iOS users, please take note not to install iOS 12 on your devices until Storm8 releases a game update for Farm Story 2.


Elsa;1540655']We recommend not updating to iOS 12 yet, if possible. We understand that some players may not be able to avoid this due to iOS 12 coming preloaded on new devices.

For your information:

There's a Farm Story 2 version 2.7.0 with iOS 12 compatibility available.

This new version works for some devices but not for others.

For members who are affected:
Please use this workaround in the mean time while the team works on the newer version to fix this.


Hello everyone!

We think we've found the cause of the issue and working on an update so please be patient until we can get that out. For now, simply rotate your device so that the device home button is on the left side and the window should be able to be closed.

I would suggest that you hold back updating them until these bugs have been fixed.

So, I have never had this problem before, but ever since the last IOS update, my game closes out constantly! I can play for maybe 10-20 minutes at a time, but every time I mean every time I get on, it always closes out! So frustrating and wish this could be fixed. I wish I could play without it closing out every time I get on

Similar to Lapetshop, I updated my android last week, and now it says my game was created for an older version of Android and some features may no longer work. Sure enough - - >

If I toggle to another app and try to toggle back, it'll crash and I have to close the game and reopen.
Sometimes it won't engage a purchase when I tap on a thing in the market.

Anyone else?
