*We will be rolling this new feature out slowly to players today to make sure everything is working for you! If you don't see the Adventure Leagues yet, don't worry, you'll get them very soon!*

Adventure Leagues are a fun way to earn new and exciting prizes by playing Dragon Story. You'll start in the Timber League where you'll be introduced to the Bingo board.

Adventure Leagues
The new Adventure Leagues can be accessed through the new Adventure League building found on the cliff near the starting location, or through the new HUD button. Adventure League events will be reoccurring, so you'll almost always be able to partake in the fun! The more points you win, the higher the League you'll be placed in. Adventure Leagues have brand new prizes like SPEED BOOSTS for your Farms, Breeding Dens, and Evolution Temple. There are also the new ADVENTURE TICKETS that you can trade in for fantastic new prizes, such as the new GOLD producing, Gold Horizon Dragon!

Bingo Challenges
Each board has 16 challenges to pick from. You select one challenge at a time to complete. Come back to collect your Adventure Points once you've finished the challenge. Finishing 4 challenges in a line will earn you a BINGO! Bingos award you a lot of points and give you a new set of 16 challenges. If you're clever, you can line up two, or THREE lines in a row for a double or TRIPLE BINGO!

If there's a challenge on your board that you'd like to change, you can start the challenge and then tap the "x" button next to the timer to cancel it. After a period of time, a new challenge will appear in it's place!

The Adventure Leagues have introduced the new Boosts! Boosts can be collected and used to speed up the timers on Dens, Farms, Evolutions, and Nests! Each Boost has three different speed increases: a 2x speed boost, 5x speed boost, and a 10x speed boost! You can activate a boost by selecting the building and a new HUD button will appear at the bottom of the screen. You can select which boost you would like to apply. Boosts apply to ALL your buildings of that type! So if you have 7 farms, and use a Farm Boost, it will work for all 7 farms!

Glitch on boosts-



Yes it's a known bug...

There are 2 ways to get that 2x boost to activate...
1. If you have a farm that you haven't planted, the boost will activate here so you can boost first, plant after.

2. If all farms are working on crops, the boost can be activated by tapping a little outside the plant symbol. I think I was able to tap just below and maybe to left of the picture.

The problem is that the picture doesn't line up exactly with the button hidden under it for the boost. Why they haven't fixed it is yet another puzzle.



For some Android models, the icon doesn't align over the call to action that uses the boost. A work-around that has worked for some players is to tap around/near the icon to activate the boost.



Elsa;1488369'] If you placed in a lower league, you'll be promoted to the higher League which will show as your current League for a few hours after it ends, but you'll still just receive the prizes for the League that you placed in the previous week.

A boost makes the countdown timer run 2, 5 or 10 times faster during one hour.
So basically the finish time will be 1, 4 or 9 hours earlier. The amount of gold to speed up will be based on the real time to finish the boosted item.

A few examples:
Plant 5 hour crops at noon and apply a 2x boost. The crops will finish at 4 pm instead of 5 pm.
Apply a 5x boost and the crops will finish at 1 pm.
With a 10x boost it will finish in 30 minutes and you'll have 30 minutes boost time left to finish another set of 5 hour crops.

There is 3 hours (180 minutes) left on your crops and you apply a 5x boost. Now the crops finish in 180/5=36 minutes.
With 24 minutes left on the boost plant some rushrooms (normally 1 hour), which will finish in 60/5=12 minutes.
Now with 12 minutes boosting left plant diamondates (5 hours). These will finish 4x12=48 minutes earlier, or in 4 hours and 12 minutes. Which would cost 9 gold to speed up at that time.

In these examples I didn't take in account the time needed to replant.
Ofcourse this works the same way with evolving, breeding and hatching.

Order of Boosts-

From right to left it's 2, 5 and 10



In Silver league those who are in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd get the grand prize of 15 tickets, 4 of the 10X breed boosts, and 4 of the 5X farm boosts.

In Gold League those who are in 1st and 2nd get the grand prize of 50 tickets, 4 of the 10X egg boosts, and 4 of the 10X farm boosts.








When you tap the boost, do you get an apple icon with a timer next to your stop watch? The boost doesn't do anything immediately, it simply speeds up the time for whatever action you decide to boost. So a one hour boost shortens the growing time by one hour.

Third prize in gold league includes 1x 10x evolution boost. Not sure if there's any in prizes for Silver league but i can tell you tomorrow :D am dropping down. Personally, it's not a very useful boost for me. I guess it's will help with LB and World Events but that means wasting more apples on dragons I evo just for the points.

So, before I update I now always check the boards. Glad I did, but I'm also glad to hear S8 fixed the problem fairly quickly. Good job. For those that feel they should have tested the game more, sometimes these things work out differently when they go live as opposed to when you're testing them, which I believe is the exact reason it is rolling out to some of us and not all of us. We are the testers for the rest of the customers. lol


But a quick question before I do update. The account switcher is still active, right? I know I sound a bit paranoid, but one can never be too careful. And I simply will not play the game without it.

I bought it 4 times and the gams kept refreshing and it disappeared. I ignore it the last time and simply started the quests. Winning one round of bingo so far.

When I went to check the temple, it was gone and it isnt in my store anymore where I can purchase it again.

It should show you on the right hand side. A vertical line on the edge, horizonal line on the edge, and a diagonal :D You have to do the corner piece last.

That's not true, we can't watch videos for free spins on the wheels. You try playing on Android and watch cool updates rollout that you can't do. Doesn't matter if you think they aren't major, fact is we have been waiting for years just to be able to play the same game as IOS. Hope this is permitted to say.

i tried it so here is my 1st feelings :
- i love the bingo idea , but not that there is leaderboard inside
- i found the tasks are not well explained : i did 1 task before i find out i need to "start", and i tried to do another task before i find out i need to finish the 1st one.

but above all , i think that s8 should fix the iOS 10 crashing issue , before starting this feature : very annoying to have the crashing when you are doing 1 task

My feelings on the bingo adventures... I like much better than leaderboard because this requires some strategy. Not just spending gold. Observations thus far.... check each block and note what is required to fill that block. You will need to press START before you set off doing the task and you can only do one task at a time.Try to accumulate as many points as possible BEFORE you get a bingo. This is where I find the strategy fun. You will notice that the more difficult tasks give you more points. Also, a 3 way bingo will give you extra bonus points so you should try for that type of bingo.You can do more blocks than needed for the 3 way bingo just be careful you don't complete another type of bingo first.

They aren't. Android players choose to feel victimized. No one except S8 knows why they don't roll out updates for both platforms. It could be a licensing issue or something.

I'm stuck with a prize. I was just starting to love this new thingy but now one of my bingo challenge is stuck. It refreshes every 10 seconds and I had to go back and "re-collect" the points. then it refreshes again in 10 seconds then I re-collect on and on... If I don't collect, game does not refresh. and I cannot do other challenges because its stuck in a loop. If I do, it will disappear and back to that annoying challenge that needs to be collected. I don't know what's this bug is.. but its pretty annoying. This will cause fall in my LB rank.

You can see what the 1st dragon is you have to battle against before you start this. So you only start it when you have a big % with your white type. I don't know the time you have, but if next dragon is to strong for your white, you can use another fighter and hope for an easier next hour.
If you can't win in time you have to do another bingo line to finish, I guess...

I really hope that this feature will not replace any of the events that we have right now.Dragon tale,world event,tournament,spin to win and ......even leaderboard event,even I win very little from it.I really hope and most of all that Dragon tale will stay,because it's my favorite no matter what. having events all the time (''without day off'') I still like it because I'm getting boring when nothing happens.

For those that asked about the "finish breeding a charm egg" one, you can start the challenge just before breeding time is up. I'm not sure if you can start the challenge if the breeding den is ready, I just know it worked when I had just under 4 hours left and I started the challenge and then finished the breeding with gold.

Just a tip for the "feed any dragon 70 times" or "evolve x amount of dragons", I've been using forest (you can also use fire) since they're cheap on coins and food, and finish quickly. I bought 7 small green groves so I can keeping them separate. For feeding 70 times you can use 14 new dragons, leveling each to lvl 2 for a total cost of 70 food. Or you can level 4 dragons through level 3, and then feed a 5th dragon 10 times. It costs more food than the first way but it's not horrible. And then evolving is very quick.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. It should read USE a Zodiac dragon to win in Battle Arena. This issue cost me 46 Gold this morning. (I was trying defeat black dragons in arena, instead of USING a black dragon to win in the battle arena) I'm afraid it was the straw that broke the camels back for me. Losing gold (money) due to unclear wording has happened too often. After playing for a few years (at Level 170) and spending hundreds of dollars on gold I've had enough. When I brought up the issue I got a sorry for the misunderstanding, but not, our mistake we'll return your gold.... I deleted the game this morning.

Where did the Diamond disappear from? I've had glitchy issues with the Arctic Isles and found that even when the dragons are gone from the habitat, sometimes they still show up in the breeding/evolving lists. Maybe the Diamond will still be an option for battles/breeding, just until issue is addressed?

I am pretty sure he was healing. He was Zzzzzz for sure but could have just been in is habitat. He's not in any of my lists anywhere which is how I noticed him missing. I was trying to use him to battle and he wasn't in my battle list.

Also - my game crashes every time I switch out of something. If I'm reading the leader board and then return to the game, crash. Mining and return to the game, crash. Battling, crash. Hell, planting food causes it to crash. Dozens of time a day.

I think this is awesome new feature. it was what leaderboards should have been. it involves some interesting tasks to keep people active on their island and some rewards you can work towards slowly or quickly depending on how developed your island is. great job S8! I think this feature will be less controversial than leaderboards.

We all fight in the same league this time, but next bingo leaderboard, you will be in the next league if you qualified, and so on. this guarantees that players who play seriously to win will be grouped together for a harder challenge. winners of the past leaderboards will move up to play against other winners. it won't be easy to get that new gold type dragon, but you will have many chances for it over the next few months.

Nooooo! I worked out soo many tricks to beat the current leaderboard i don't want to have to do it all over again >_< I also sunk gold into a second evolution chamber that is useless for anything else and all the nests i could afford. I would hate to lose the trophy leaderboards. I only have four gold and two silvers in my trophy case so far :D

I had this challenge (& question!) too--just had to breed a different dragon. Breed any two dragons to try to get Genie, so any purple & yellow. Then wait until you get the right timer for Genie (8 hrs, I think...check the forum.)

You can start your challenge at any time, but it gives you the most time to work on other challenges to just wait until breeding is done. So,

When you see the "ready" sign, start the challenge.
Tap the ready sign/den to move the egg to the nest.

Finished! Collect your reward. (I did it like this & it worked!)
It's going to be a risk if there are multiple dragons with the same timer, though.

Is anyone else having problems with the bingo game recognizing actions that you've completed? I've now had to refresh two squares on my recent card because of this issue! For example, most recently I was doing the "visit 3 neighbors" square and (after actually visiting 5 neighbors) when I returned to my home island I saw that it only registered one neighbor! I figured that it might have wanted me to visit my home island in between neighbors so I attempted that and, still, I only have one neighbor registered as visited. I THEN tried closing the game down completely and restarting it and tried again both ways as well as visiting community members rather than neighbors (as I've had that as a bingo space before although it specified community and not neighbors) and nothing I tried got me ANY further than 1 of the 3 required for that space! As you can clearly see, I spent a good deal of time trying to figure this one out before giving up and choosing the "refresh" option so it's kind of understandable that I don't really remember what the issue was, precisely, with the other square I refreshed but it was a similar situation in that I did exactly what it asked but, for whatever reason, I wasn't receiving credit for its completion. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having similar issues with the bingo game? I'm quite upset because I'm currently in second place and I'm afraid that, if this continues, I will drop off the board!

Refresh tasks you cannot or do not want to complete. It may take a few times of refreshing a certain square until you find one that's suitable, but it has yet to take me more than 2 or 3 tries. And as I said on an earlier page, it's feed *any* dragon 70 times, so you can spread those 70 feedings out over several dragons. The cheapest for food and coins is using new fire or forest dragons. If you hatch 14 new dragons and feed each dragon 5 times it only costs 70 food. Or you could feed 4 dragons 15 times, and feed a 5th 10 times. It costs a little bit more in food but you also have dragons on hand for the "evolve x dragons" that have short evolutions.

ETA: I'm on my 5th or so bingo card (haven't kept track) and I have yet to be forced to spend gold. I've spent some just for convenience (speeding up refresh time, speeding up breeding den), but when I get a new card I immediately refresh everything that I cannot complete or don't want to. When the card is mostly filled with acceptable tasks I then decide which way I want to get a bingo, and how many bingos I want to go for. When you decide which way you're going to get your bingo you can also do a few extra challenges to get extra points, just make sure you don't accidentally complete a row and get a bingo before you're ready.

In my reply to post 121 by Amerirish , I said "Long time " to clarify the doubt whether this event will get over after bal 4. days . Since many such events will follow . At this stage , it is not clear how things will be in coming events ! Some players will reach Gold League but many might not ! Also this could interfer with the other events (tales,etc.) so we should plan carefully. Ok, I tried with a fire dragon and it seems "to adult " means from lev 5 to lev 6 and "to epic" means from lev 9 to lev10. From lev 14 to 15 works without evolution temple. Good luck. :-D

For those having trouble getting neighbor visits to count, I found that if I visit a neighbor, tap any dragons you can or "play" then go HOME it counts. So when I had to visit 5 neighbors I came home between each one.. When playing with neighbors dragons 5x I had one neighbor with only 1 available to play with, came home then went to another neighbor played with 6 and when I got back home my 5 were complete on play with 5 neighbor dragons. Hope this helps! :)

I played at every neighbor and community member's place I visited. In fact, I noticed that when attempting to complete this task earlier, the playable habitats seemed to be easier to find than when just generally visiting my neighbors! Most of the playable habitats were even center screen once I arrived at their islands so, even if I didn't consider it rude (& a waste of time) to visit and not play as well as post on their wall letting them know that I had stopped in, it was made so incredibly easy to "play" with their dragons that I can't see any reason why anyone wouldn't have done so! Particularly since their was more than enough time to visit, play, & post at twice as many as the required islands...or 3 times as many as I clearly did by trying it several different ways before giving up and refreshing the square.

The evolving the dragon to adult was the first one I had to refresh but, after reading a previous explanation, I believe that I simply evolved into the wrong level.

Now, however, I've just had another issue. I "started" the square (that would have been my bingo, which is what makes this one particularly upsetting) to "breed any two dragons" & then started the breeding (which is going to be a 20 hour long wait) and went back to "finish" my square" and get my bingo only to find the squares now waiting to be started again! I'm so frustrated! I WAS having fun with this but, just like the DT and the tournament, I'm either too low level or just not playing well enough that I give up until I can build my funds and food and space up more I guess because it's just getting overwhelming.

I think you should read the breeding quest first and press start for the breeding. Then you can start breed the two selected dragons. If it's hatching option, you should wait until it is almost ready to hatch then press the start button!

I have experienced this "reset" on multiple tasks since the update. Maybe a dozen times, different tasks including breeding and food tasks. There are still a lot of bugs. My level 15 diamond disappeared after the first update. I was hoping he would reappear after the second update. No such luck. I opened a ticket but no response yet. I do have two other level 7 diamonds but the food required to get one to level 15 is astronomical so I really want my first one restored

Things we have learned so far:
You can refresh any challenge you can't complete, or don't want to complete. You do this by starting the challenge, hitting the "x" next to the timer, and then confirm you want to refresh. Some challenges refresh quickly, but all of mine have been an hour. You can choose to speed it up for 5 gold. There is no penalty for refreshing, and I don't think there is any limit to how many you can refresh at any one time. It may take several refreshes before you find a challenge that's acceptable, and a refresh can give you a different type of challenge (example, first one is clearing a certain type of foliage, the next one could be related to battling).

You can win up to three bingos - the diagrams to the right show you what works for each. Triple bingo gives you 350 points in addition to whatever points you gained from completing challenges. It also gives you 1,000 food and coins. Double bingo gives you 200 points, 750 food, and coins. 1 bingo gives you 100 points, 500 food (I believe), and coins.
If you want to maximize your points figure out your plan of attack - how many bingos you want to go for and where. Complete other challenges on the board too, but make sure you don't accidentally get a bingo before you intend to. You can pay for boosts that multiply how many points you get in a given time (currently 20% lasting 3 hours for 7 gold, or 50% lasting 3 hours for 15 gold). The boosts for the den, eggs, and food are prizes that can be won depending on where you place in your league and which league you're in.

"Win battle with x dragon" means fight a battle using that type. You also don't have to actually win, losing still counts.

"Breed x and x dragon" - start challenge and then breed the two dragons.
"Finish breeding x dragon egg" - breed until you get the correct time. You can start the challenge just before you transfer from the den to the nest.

"Feed any dragon x times" - you can spread the feedings out over multiple dragons. Cheapest for food and coins for feeding 70 times is feeding 14 new fire and/or forest dragons 5 times each (up to level 2) for a total of 70 food. Or you can feed 4 dragons 15 times (until they're ready to evolve from 3 to 4), and a 5th dragon 10 times (up to level 3) for a total of 285 food. Both fire and forest dragons have very short evolution times so they're good to have on hand for the evolving dragons challenges.

"Evolve x number of dragons" - use fire or forest dragons for shortest evo time so you can get more challenges in.
Evolve a dragon to juvenile means evolving from 3 to 4, adult means evolving from 6 to 7, epic means evolving from 9 to 10.

Mines - for the dragon crafting someone said it counts if you even enter into the mine but don't gather any parts. This is useful knowledge if you hate having extra parts in your storage after you already crafted the dragon. Otherwise each part you find contributes to what you need find for the challenge.

Visiting neighbors or community members - try playing with their dragons to make sure it counts. It's always counted when I've done that, a few people have suggested to visit home in between each visit.
Also play with x number of neighbor's dragons, pretty sure you just have to play with 15 dragons, not just visit 15 neighbors to play with their dragons. I think I visited 5 or 6 neighbors after playing will all of the available dragons I could find, just to check my neighbor count, and it said I was ready to finish. No way I visited 15 neighbors so I'm pretty sure that just means 15 dragons from neighbors.

If you read a challenge correctly and know you completed, try closing out of the game (double click home, swipe up) and restart the game. It should register. If the game exits out on you (no idea if this has been resolved yet) unfortunately starting the challenge and completing it may not register.

And as an aside, lets not tell android players that it's unfair for them to complain. It's a known problem that they get things after apple products (kindle products being left in the dust does not invalidate the concern of android players) and their feelings are legitimate. They get the features that apple products get months to years later. For those of us who have been playing for years things get stale, and this bingo aspect seems more fair than the leaderboards.
Now coding a game for apple is different than android, and I think this is a large contributing factor for the delays. I also think this was intended to be an apple game and they just extended to android and kindle after popularity surged, and they don't have the devs on hand that can work on updating the other platforms like what is done for apple.

It's any dragon. I end up feeding fire dragons so it doesn't use very much food. :)

I've refreshed a few tasks as well and got much harder or equal impossible tasks (like clearing trees/bushes since I don't have any left) What the nerd in me has done is to make a chart in excel of 4 x 4 cells. I look at all of the initial tasks and map out my strategy by placing an X in the boxes that represent the tasks I don't want to do or should not do. The example in the graphic on the bingo card gives you the 'formula' for getting three lines at once by avoiding certain blocks. I'll try an example here; think of each square as numbered:

The corner tasks are what you need to look at carefully because one of the corners will be your last to finish in order to get three lines at once so make sure it's a task you feel you can complete. Next, I use X's in the squares I must avoid:

13 XX XX 16

Now, if you look carefully and if you have time you could also complete two more boxes on lines 2 and 3 but be careful and always make your 'anchor' the very last corner of the grid that you complete.

B are the squares you complete, x are the ones you skip. Do all of the Bs, then do the L. Of course I think it's more productive to finish bingos asap and forget about double or triple bingos.

If it says hatch it means you only get it if you put the two dragons together after you click on that square and we lucky enough to breed that dragon once it's done breeding and put it on the nest you will get the points.
If square says hatch an egg that means it counts only once the egg is on the nest and done hatching and ready to put in habitat you will get that square's points.

Yes very ambiguous ... hatching/breeding ... evolve juvenile (why not just say level 7?) ... visit neighbour/community?? Keep going back to get reward only to find that the task has not been completed exactly as required (the instructions are just not very clear).

Something I'm concerned about (not sure how it will go since everyone is at the same league right now) is that if you move up to the next league the difficulty of tasks are likely to increase. My thoughts are this, I'm already getting a bingo card full of tasks I can't do, such as breed using birthstone dragon (tried getting one but failed) so cannot do it, plant/harvest things I couldn't so ended up upgrading my farms which took 12 hours of no planting/harvesting but may help me in the future, battle or win x amt of battles with "x" dragon I don't have etc. which makes me wonder how many bingo slots I have to waste time on refreshing things I can't do since I came across so many in this lower level league. Guess time will tell if tasks stay the same or not.

Tickets for crafting will be awarded in Silver League - 15 Tickets and Gold League - 50 Tickets to top three in the group being part of Grand prize . I feel , many such events will follow and we have to go on playing , working hard and try to get top 3 ranks in these Leagues in our group which is not going to be very easy task . I hope , it clarifies your query. . Though full details will be known only when we reach these Leagues , I feel , Crafting Tickets should be awarded up to 10 Ranks in the group --- Say , Gold Legue --- Rank 1 to 3 - 50 Tickets. , 4 to 6 - 25 Tickets and 7 to 10 - 15 Tickets . This will be encouragement to many players to play these events

Refresh, refresh, refresh! If I see a challenge I don't want to wait to complete, I accept it, then quickly refresh it. It takes an hour, but that's better than waiting 6 or more hours to do the actual challenge. Also, if you see an evolve challenge, just add some Fire dragons to the nest and evolve those (they take 10 seconds).

Thank you for the clarification. I saw the prizes but still didn't understand about the tickets. I understand now. This is going to be tough! I'm curious to see how often we will be getting these. I hope they don't layer this on top of other events! Whew!

This leaderboard event is fun. I was frustrated at first because I didn't update until just before day four. I knew something was going on because I had an unusual amount of community visiting. Maybe there was a pop-up informing me, but I tend to get annoyed with 3 or 4 pop ups in a row and just close them out without reading. Going to have to be more careful. There are so many options that require strategy combined with Bingo(who doesn't like Bingo?). I had trouble in the beginning with doing the tasks without actually starting them, but I suppose everyone had a lot of mistakes to get the hang of it. I like the fact that whatever league you are in, there's some descent reward. Thanks for making a fun game again. There are so many good things about this event!

You have to work your way up. Do well in Stone, get promoted to Bronze. Do well in Bronze, get promoted to Silver. Do well in Silver, win tickets and get promoted to Gold.

Can someone please explain how the boost prizes work? I have many, many questions: What is 3/8 of a 2X nest boost? Does it mean I have 3 available boosts out of a total of 8 possible, or do I have a really weak, partial boost that needs to be leveled up to 8 to be effective? And what does it do, exactly? When do you deploy the boosts? Also, how will using a breeding or nest boost affect leaderboard points (does shortening the time with a boost lower the number of points awarded for the LB)?

Any clarification would be very, very appreciated. Thanks!

I think it means breeding is finished, move to nest. Since your egg was already on nest, it didn't count.

I didn't play regularly though, spent some time at night working on the easier items. I really think you need to be active in the game, refreshing what you don't want to do and checking back on the hour for the new tasks. I gave up trying to get triple bingos (took too long per card) and settled for multiple bingos a day during the last four days.

I'm really curious to know what others are doing in order to get 10K plus points per event.

That's what I started doing at the end and I seemed to get points a lot faster. I'll try doing it that way from the start and see what happens. I have no desire to spend any gold boosting for points. Fingers crossed I don't get the same kind of crazy point group this time.

I also picked my challenges strategically to advance my island. I figure if I'm going to raise a dragon to Level 15, I want it to add an advantage in the battle arena.

For the times when it helps I do have two evolvers and 4 nests. I don't buy the point-producing statues.

Here's a question for you. What was our prize for making it to 2nd place or whatever place. For the life of me I cannot figure out if I got anything at all.

I used a 2x boost this morning to try and figure out how it worked - it essentially speeds up the countdown timer by the amount of the boost. So if you activate it and watch the timer countdown, mine was going from 50 seconds, to 48 seconds to 46 seconds instead of 50,49,48, 47. The boost lasts for an hour. Does that make sense - because it does in my head :-)
