I'd say it's too easy to think it's another black/red breedable hybrid...
Although it's a bit early, I know Flatfoot likes a nice little tease every now and then, so it could as well be the new GPD which I expect around late december :p

But there's lots of other possibilities, like BPD, DPD, special typed tournament/tales/event dragon or whatever.
Let's be patient and wait till we see what it actually is, but if I can have it, I will have it ;)

I think this is the continuation of all those previous tales.. Something dark with red eyes.. As quite a few 'good, brave' dragons have warned us and have even prepared to fight it.. Especially with that red eye flatfoot has posted, I am sure..

Edit: if it wasn't for the recurring red eye theme in tales and flatfoot posting it, I might have thought this to be mining dragon with its rocky look..

to craft the dark one, we need 35 pieces. but the 48 rounds tourney give only 6 pieces : are we going to get the other ones from other tourney ? do the regular battles give some ?

Totally normal.
I'm round 47 with 7 crystals.

There are 8 in total from this tournament, in rounds 1,6,13,20,27,36,42 & 48. According to the Battle Arena page.

I asked an agent about this on one of my tickets and I was told that we will be getting them on a random basis and it will available for a while just not sure for how long so we can still collect them even if their is no battle event.

I have the same question and can't seem to find an answer from mod or somebody from the staff.. don't know what to do with the current tournament now, I'm on 15th round and it's very late already and I need to go to sleep. Should I speed up the rounds and finish this tournament? I don't really want the prize but I want to collect enough corrupt crystals for the Dark One.. ugh :(

I did ask about this and during A Light in the Dark Stage Event, you will earn Corrupt Crystals through the Mega Tournament.
Future Tournaments will yield Corrupt Crystals. :)

Like we need 35, are they only going to offer 35 scattered through tournaments or will they off like 50? I only got 2 out of 3 for last tournament so am I now out of luck to be able to win enough? Does anyone know how long we have to craft this guy? I just learned of his existence (I'm thawing after aeons of very minimal and hands off play) so obviously I've missed the "mega" tourno thing Kooky was talking about...
This dragon is so cool...looks very Minas Morgul inspired-y.
Honestly, Flatfoot sure has amped up this game's dragons and in the last three days I've been haunting the dragon forum threads I HAVE noticed a lot of love and appreciation for the work s/he (I'm sorry Flat I dunno) does. It's sad that I'm only noticing these seismic changes now but you know what they say about better late...
