Halloween 2016 Wishlist!

Hey all,

First off: this thread is NOT an official Storm8 thread, so there's no guarantee any of this will make it into the game. That said, October is almost here, and people have been wanting a Halloween sale since last year! So, I started this thread for people to post what they'd want to see, if we get this Halloween sale, or if they have any new Halloween suggestions :)

I'm lucky to already have some Halloween content for my bakery, but I'd always love to see some more! So here's what I'd like to see back for Floor Decorations:


Natasha's Cauldron - the only decoration (I think) to feature SweetCo's CEO Natasha! What better holiday for which to bring her back than one that's full of sugar? :p
Witch Supplies - surely, Natasha needs her spellbooks to make the right concotions
Frankenstein's Table and his Experiment
Bobbing for Apples
Cookie Prep Table
The Netherworld Gate
Trick or Treat - an orange house with trick-or-treaters lined up in front. A really nice alternative to the Haunted House :)
Candy Apple Display - this was a 2nd place prize from the 2013 Bucket of Treats box
Appliances: the Coffin Drink Machine featuring Type A, Type B, and Type O bottles, and the Witch Cauldron to really give one's bakery that spooky touch :)
Returning recipes like the Candy Corn Macaroons, Candy Corn Coffee, Mummy Cupcakes, and Spider Brownies! This past Valentine's Day, we saw two recipes return for the holiday, namely the Valentine Cupcake and Candy Cane. It would be great if we could get this for Halloween too :)


I wish I could find pictures of most of these, but I can't :(

Recipe Ideas

Candy Corn! I'm actually rather surprised this recipe by itself hasn't been seen yet in Bakery Story :eek:
Cobweb Cotton Candy - maybe with a little candied spider for garnish :) At least, I hope it's candied...
Ghost Toast - the red stuff on top is jam, right? Or perhaps jelly of the non-ectoplasmic variety?
Doughnut Spiders - can't have too many doughnuts in a bakery
Brain Cupcake - for the zombies
Brain Freeze Ice Cream
More aligned with Day of the Dead: Calabasa Dulce, Pan de Muerte, Sugar Skulls, different types of Atole, etc.



Floor Decor Ideas

Kids carving jack-o'-lanterns
A zombie gnawing on a jack-o-lantern which has a terrified look on its face
Bakery Story characters dressed up in costume! Examples: Loretta as the Bride of Frankenstein, Hazel as a witch (because witch hazel... haha! ;)), Jean-Pierre as a pirate, Natasha as a mad scientist, etc.
Or, maybe an entirely new character who wants to stay around just for the duration of Halloween :)
Calavera Catrina - the elegant lady skeleton associated with the Day of the Dead
Marigold Bouquets or Skulls - again for the Day of the Dead theme
A skull fountain (or spooky fountain of some sort) spewing black liquid




Wall Decor Ideas

Spooky Portraits - Victorian-style portraits, where the face has become creepy with gaunt eyes and an evil expression:

these are the wallpapers (and the spiral tile) i didn't previously buy enough of! sure would be nice to have another shot at them, especially the leftmost trees, although i'm glad to have more dark options than we did at this time last year, what with the new dragon skin paper and a bunch more dark/black tiles.

Been mulling this over in my head.
How about the ability to build are own Graveyard in BS & RS.
Different tombstones, some broken, some with a misty fog, interesting epitaphs,
arms/hands etc, coming out of grave, family mausoleum/crypts, empty graves with dirt & shovel on side.
Iron fence & gate, spooky trees, floating apparitions, zombies, gravediggers, etc.

Thoughts? Too cryptic? I think it would be a bit fun myself.

Maybe this does not work on yours, BUT if I take out wallpaper or tiles and keep placing it beyond what I have it charges me for new ones. For example I had 7 of the jack-o-lanterns you show and so I kept tapping along my wall and was able to buy 15 more. If I ran into a glitch I had to return one (place over it with something else, go out of wallpaper than back in) and try again to keep placing it. I did the same thing with some of my tiles as well. Not sure if it works with all of them, but so far all the ones I've tried it with works (I'm on IOS not sure if that makes a difference).

this. since storm8 took over, the designs have become kinda childish.....might be appropriate for some deco ideas...but certainly NOT halloween. nor xmas.

Please give us something soon. All i have from last year is the baby lookimg stuff and i really dont even like it. Holidays are sad in this game, if you have only been playing a couple of years :(

After seeing the update for 10/5, I have no hope at all in a good Halloween sale. What a waste. $50 worth of itunes cards to spend too. Guess I'll use them for music or something else. Good job S8.

Not sure about the tiles, but for the wallpapers, you can still buy the expired wallpapers if you're on IOS, but be sure about the price before you buy.
