That's what I usually tell other players, if you don't really want or like the dragon prize, then you're better off skipping it, rather than stressing over getting every single dragon (which I know quite a lot of players do, just look at the high points in leaderboards, some are even willing to spend money to get a dragon prize)

Anyways, I'm playing leisurely as well, so I won't post my battle results like a lot of the previous tournaments, if I win then fine, but if I don't finish on time, it won't bother me to miss out on 1 dragon

I beat Centurion in the Stalwart tournament with Ghost Armor (Black, white). Maybe that would help but if you have a high level Diamond, Metal, Passion, Pyramid or Soccer it would be a better option. Ghost Armor for me was pure luck at random.

I have Rainbow Sentinel which I got from a value pack. She's a great fighter and I haven't lost a tournament since I got her to 15. Stalwart, Rose Knight and Lollipop are good too, but I haven't managed to get them above 10 yet, as RS took so much food, but she and Diamond and Infinity are brilliant in the arena now they're 15.

This stupid Centurion. Lost with Diamond 15, Forgefather 12, Quetzal 10, Infinity 5, Cursed Idol 8. So many dragons. It's idiotic for a champion dragon to be ridiculously hard. Any suggestions besides that weak Diamond dragon I have? And, no, I don't have Passion, Pyramid, Rainbow Sentinel, Glasswing, or Soccer neither do I have any level 15 dragons besides that waste of space Diamond I have.

Just one suggestion - invest in Metal to level 15 and try with it. It helped us a lot - results on page 1 (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?94363-Flash-Tourney-High-Noon-Dragon-Sept-23-2016&p=1347197&viewfull=1#post1347197).

Any other suggestion is to throw babies on champ - e.g. Fire 1, Forest 1.. they have chance of 10% as most other level 15 dragons.

As I can see, only champions available at this time in market are Valkirye, Ninja and Paladin. Valkirye is super rare, so better then other two, but expensive to feed to level 15. Paladin is only rare, but, on other hand, is cheap to level it to 15 - about 350000 food compared to about 890000 for Valkirye and Ninja (rare).

So, I would go to Paladin if I were you :) and have 1500+ gold.

From my list it looks like any high level champ or Lollipop would be what I use, I beat it with a L15 champ.

I have been trying all day on the sweet tooth as well. For about 12 hours, no luck with anything. I'm not spending one bit of gold on this tourney since I'm not in love with the prize, but this is ridiculous! Hard is one thing but hours on end is ridiculous.

What did you beat Centurion with if you don't mind me asking?
As for the timer, it's weird. If this timer is true then the tournament ends at 10:30am PDT Monday instead of midnight on Sunday night.

I have been trying all day on the sweet tooth as well. For about 12 hours, no luck with anything. I'm not spending one bit of gold on this tourney since I'm not in love with the prize, but this is ridiculous! Hard is one thing but hours on end is ridiculous.

I spent gold to keep trying, and eventually got it with a L13 Champ (Battlesteed) which I'd tried a couple of times before... So no real reason I couldn't get it before!

...and I lost again in the next round anyway!

Lost a few times experimenting on the last battle but finally Marshmallow 15 took it down BM

Prism was super tough, I had to keep using Quetzal and Mercury until it let me be finished...like 5 losses I think.

As for the timer, it's weird. If this timer is true then the tournament ends at 10:30am PDT Monday instead of midnight on Sunday night.

under normal circumstances, I would be grateful for the extra time but now I just want this tournament to end so I can get on with my tales. The more I think about it, the more it seems that this is just another perfectly hatched scheme by S8 to get more gold. I always start my tales on the second day so the tournaments don't hugely impact my last two days. But with the extra time, that is what will happen. I've been stuck on Centurion all day and if I don't beat him soon, I'll be stuck on him well into my 10th day, at least until the tourney ends but that will throw me off too much to finish. Losing 13 dragons to Centurion is just ridiculous. I even lost 3 times with a supposedly "strong" level 15 Diamond. What's the use of wasting food to get it to level 15 if they're not good where it matters. Not only that, it spits out common dragons when breeding. Impotent and weak - a bad combination.

24 hours later and I finally beat the Sweet Tooth with a level 11 Diamond. So frustrating. My goal is to evolve (in progress), breed and level up my Metal dragon - hoping that helps me a bit in future matches. I'll also be on the lookout in the value packs for a good fighter (not that I can easily recognize them, but I can google)!!!

I flew through the whole tourney until I hit Valiant. He was such a pain and I had timing issues due to the Tales so I had to Ulti him :mad: After him, it was fine. I hope my newly purchased Valiant is such a huge beast in battle for me.

Did you try the usual advice, force close / reopen the app? If that doesn't work, have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling? If neither of these work, you have to send an email to support@storm8.com and/or support@teamlava.com

Oh wow!! I genuinely thought it was Valiant, but you're correct that it was Centurion :o In my defense, it was an insomnia night for me so this was around 2:30 AM last Saturday. I stand corrected :)
