Help! How do I get gem dust to build a moon post? I get gems, yet I do not get any dust. I even tried to build the desert gem building. Yet I can not find any of the parts on board.

Hello!

Once an event has concluded (such as the Desert Nights event and the Galloping Through the Galaxy event), the building materials are no longer available through regular gameplay. You may finish upgrading your buildings, however you will need to spend gems to acquire those materials.
