3rd try Twilight Troll Win with Dark (2nd hit) (Twilight Troll rarely disappointed me. A reliable fighter which I rank it even higher than Crystal Unicorn)

1st try Sea Drake Win with Water (3rd hit) (I's very nervous on the 3rd hit as I don't have much confidence on Sea Drake because of its 0 success rate previously. The reason I tried again because this is a probability game and it should be Sea Drake' turn sooner or later. I am glad it works this time.)

Ever since my the game has been acting on me , i have not been able to complete any tourneys. it started with the hades one..and continues. i so wnated the Liger but could not get beyond 5 rounds. i have to delete and reload my game everytime I want to play , and during a tournament that is difficult and tedious.
but i want to try for this one and try to complete it even though i am not a big fan of DT.

Did you try to clear the game data through the phone settings? It works for me (im on android)

Plutopus (Cosmic/Water) is At Round 30. I just beat it with Earth by Blizard. You can also use Electric.

you are in the exact position I am in. I delete and reload game each time to play (after it crashes while I'm in the game). Very frustrating. So tournaments are no longer a top priority as its annoying to wait and wait to get in with the potential of crashing. My ipad is not that old and works fine for everything else I use it for. See no sense in buying a newer model just to play a 'supposed to be fun and relaxing' game:) Good luck all

I sometimes have trouble with rollbacks right in the middle of ordinary game play. Just strolling along collecting food and coins and my game will sort of blink and I have to collect everything all over again. I have seen the recommendation of visiting neighbors or community members and because of the rollbacks I do it every time I battle, mine or complete something in an event. Even if I've collected a prize I still do it because I've seen others report they finished something, collected the prize, left the game and came back later to find none of it saved....which is a huge bummer if you come back after an event is over and find you didn't complete it when you thought you did. I've never had trouble with things saving when I've visited people afterward.

I try to get through most battles on my own so that I learn from my wins and losses, but I often use others results for help when I get stuck. At some point hopefully I'll be experienced enough to feel competent and comfortable enough to post my results to help others. :)

Hi, hope it can help! I go into the phone settings/ apps/ Fantasy Story and then clear data (don't know if it is the same method for every device).
Don't worry if when game reopens you wont see any of your habitats or animals. You have to wait a few minutes for them to be loaded 😉

I'm currently at Round 38 and doing reasonably well (see Post #4). However, I began to lose excitement and felt a bit deflated. 45 rounds are way too long. You're seeing a lot of repetition (I meant different animals with repeating element combinations). I used only epic animals of super rare and ultras rare for battling. Unfortunately I have only 18 of them and have to repeatedly use the same fighters every few rounds. I believe the animals are randomly given critical hits (with increasing probability of critical hit with higher rarity and higher levels). Using the same animals repeatedly, you will run out the critical hits and you will see yourself losing more and more as the game goes on. Plus, you are facing more powerful animals at the latter part of the tournament. I think 30 rounds are the maximum number I can keep my interest level. Certainly, for really advanced players who have all kinds of ultra/super rare animals with special elements, they may last longer without running out of good fighters. (Disclaimer: For the Epic Ultra/Super Rare animals I have - two ultra rare gemstone animals [Crystal Unicorn and Grand Unicorn]; one tree/rainbow animal [Libertree]; one Zodiac animal [Cancer]).

Yes that's true what you say , I have a lot of animals of tournaments , events , Storybook . I also have all the zodiac animals , it is for someone very hard , the few animals . I have found that animals under LVL 10 are more likely to lose , yes I mean also the animals from Events more are in the tournament stronger :D

Totally agree that we have way more time for the 45 round tournament. We can do it slowly and eventually still complete the tournament.

However, this is a probability game. In theory, we have better chance to win using higher level/rarity animals so we should try these fighters first. The question is at what point, if nothing works out, we should start trying Common Epic animals like Pyro Pony. As we all know, these common animals can still win but the basics of the game tell us that the probability is just lower. We have a lower expectation for these common animals to win. Thus, when they do win, sometimes we exaggerate their power/success rate.

It happens sometimes. You got stuck in a particular round. It's the way how the game is designed to get you frustrated. I'm lucky in this tournament (Posting #4) to have the longest losing streak only at 4 tries. I do have a few 3-try rounds though.

I'm curious about your level as you're quite successful in using the most basic/common animals, such as Pyro Pony, Rock Rhino, Forstfang, Lightning Leopard, etc. I rarely use these common animals but exclusively enlist my Super/Ultra Rare fighters. Good luck to you for the last few rounds.

Yes, very random isn't it! Yes I have two accounts. I started playing on my iPod but that broke. Then my phone started playing up so I purchased an iPod. I thought that meant I would have to start again and was devastated but set up a new game on my iPhone. Then I noticed the log into an other account button (right at the top right hand screen) I had a storm8 id and password for old account which meant I could log back into that one. I can now go back and forward on both accounts. Iv made a promise to myself that I will never spend money on my second account so that one does not seem to get as much attention lol. Did u sync your iPhone and iPad together? As my old ones were together and it meant I had ffs on my old iPod and iPhone and could only create a new one when the iPod completely stopped working. Then I didn't sync my games from the phone to the pod and it meant I could create a new one on the pod

since I am only level 30+ my first ever long tournament... but at least I have enough time... my first battle that was prompt was Walrust btw I manage to get it but it was so hard logging every hour, after the rest of battle events I just log on when I could & never got any of them.

I always wanted a lightning element fighter hopefully it will do well when it is at EPIC but that take a long time we see

I was stuck on round 29 for almost a day! Now I am stuck on round 31 and it has been an entire day. I have used grand unicorn 14 (my apple supply won't get her to 15 and finish the storybook). I have used my crystal unicorn 8 (just got her 2 weeks ago and her breeding stinks "only produces common animals"). I've used my twilight troll 8 (been sitting in storage). I used skyger 15, pandafil 15, bamboom 15, big bad wolf 15, I've used all of my dark, leaf and rock animals level 15 down to level 7 and none are beating this thing. This is about to raise my anxiety to level 15!! I can't beat Granite Golem! I don't have all of the ultra rare tournament / event animals a lot of you have treent tree, trick treent, pokey pilot, and the others.

Does anyone have any additional suggestions?

I went so far as to close the game, turn off my data/wifi and then reset my device and wait for an hour before re-opening the game.

I feel for you. I didn't win the Liger because I got stuck for a day each on two different animals and ran out of time. My best advice is keep alternating between your unicorn and then your best dark with a Nature or Water symbol. Sometimes it takes a few tries with the animal you eventually beat it with. I hope you pass him as it's frustrating when you've given12 tries and zilch O.

I definitely get your frustration if you look on page 2 it took me 14 tries but I finally was able to defeat him with grand unicorn that's only a level 10. The best advice is keep trying you'll get it eventually

Well, Old Granite Golem won round 31!! I was never able to beat him. My little one's account was stuck on round 24 both of them. It's as if the server said "Not today" because we actually became stuck at the same time.

Meanwhile, I managed to breed a daredevil and an elephanton.

Oh well, some of the "at a chance" incidents that occur with this game makes a technical brain like mine really wonder at times. Just how bad do they want us to spend real dollars using gems for Fantasy pleasures.

I just might take up gardening 😂😂😂

I just defeated Mammoth Trunk using the Nature element from Twilight Troll (see Post #4). This is a long tournament and I'm happy it's over. It's confirmed that after Round 32 there is no more vote ticket (required for the Stand United Storybook event) and no other special prizes either (such as 1,000 apples) other than the Mammoth Trunk. Trunk is in Storage now but I'm not sure I will bring him out soon as I have quite a few animals to be hatched. In addition, I have several Lightning/Earth Super Rare animals to be raised to the Epic level at this time. Good luck to all of you who tries to complete this tournament.
