Trying to maximize my chances for Glimmer... Spent 75 gold on Diamond Temple, spent 50 gold on activating my second breeding roost, selected Glasswing (because I don't have the rainbow type isolated) and Diamond, hit Breed, and it kicked me out! :-(

When I logged back in, activating the second breeding roost is 100. :-( Come on... offer activating the second roost for 50 again!

BTW, 40 hours... Anubis.

They don't usually do Diamond/Ultra Rare dragons for a limited time so I'm pretty positive that the sale is limited time, but that the dragon is permanent. Hopefully a Mod can confirm this for us :)

I activated my diamond temple yesterday to try for this. Breeding diamond and rainbow. So far, I've gotten march mayhem, cosmos, rainbow, mist, and water (ugh).

I tried with Diamond and Rainbow 5 times with no luck. I reactivated my Diamond Temple and first try I got a Gold Dragon, second try I got the Glimmer. I am thrilled. Good Luck everyone.

Got Glimmer on the second try with Infinity and Sweet Tooth. Infinity and Pot of Gold gave me a Music dragon. I have to say I've been impressed with the results Infinity has given me for breeding. Diamond loves spitting out common dragons every time.

I did! There are two other designers, but I'm the one that does most of the "creative" content. New dragons, stories, text, etc.

Got with Diamond 15 and rainbow 10, first try with Diamond temple active and last go of the boosted breeding. Before that I had used diamond and rainbow sentinel (as I still need Valiant) but there were too many basic fails so decided to switch.

Still need Diamond prism, will try a few more with rainbow before going back to diamond champion again...

If there are no other 30 hr fails with diamond / rainbow combo then I just got it! Diamond lvl 9 and rainbow lvl 10 with temple activated. Got a 3rd Anubis and 3rd gold as well as multiple rainbows I deleted because I have 3 already as well as double rainbow. Very excited for this one Flatfoot did a wonderful job! Woohoo! After blowing all of my saved gold, about 300 on filling my 4 nests and using the 2 breeding dens, I finally bred this one.

I dont have gold to speed up but thats fine. Using a fresh level 4 rainbow and newly hatched level 4 diamond.

I wish id gotten rainbow prism but while trying to a 2nd one of this, hopefully it will come my way. Been trying for that one for ages!

This will leave me needing just 3 more diamonds, to complete my collection. Black diamond, Prism and Diamond Prism.

Its not strange at all. Its said to help increase chances. But when theyre already low it really doesnt so much. Its not a sure bet anything will be bred. Just a fancy play on words to get our helps up and make us spend gold.

I did breed a Mercury yesterday. But I already have about 5 of them so it was no great feat.

So I'm pro-temple, since I can't breed a diamond anything without it.

If it's really a Diamond Prism, then it was a nice surprise fail for Glimmer... I've been waiting for Diamond Prism for quite a long time too... :)

So I decided to switch breeding pairs to Rainbow and Mercury and JUST got the 30 hour timer. Not sure if it's just luck, but surprisely the Diamond temple worked for me. I bred my diamond about L40 before I joined the forum and before I knew how important it was to have one and now at L185 just have two diamond hybrids missing from the full amount ....BUT I've never been able to bred another diamond which would be useful for breeding as I prefer to keep mine available for tournament they just evade me no matter which combo I use ...... Very evasive dragons ..

Managed to breed it with temple activated. I have 3 pure diamonds, which I got without the temple. Sheer luck. I keep the lvl 4 ones for breeding, the lvl 15 for the arena.

I tried and tried for Glimmer the first week it was released, but I didn't have a single attribute rainbow type - I had things like Splatter, Lollipop, and Nouveau, which gave me fail after fail. Then I spent the time to focus on getting Rainbow. It took some time, but Rainbow x Diamond was a good breeding pair for Glimmer... my third attempt yielded a 30 hour timer in the breeding den.

Why it's so hard to get this dragon? Just got my second Diamond Prism while trying for this. I used to think that Diamond Prism was one of the elusive Diamond Hybrid, hard to get too for some people, but now I got two, Glimmer became more "Ultra Rare" than Diamond Prism in my island, I guess so... I really wish I could get a Glimmer instead. Well, that's okay, I have to be grateful of what I got because Diamond Prism is hard to get too, it's always nice to have a Diamond Prism fail though, lol... :D I guess I am the lucky one... >.< I'll keep trying. Fingers crossed. :)

OMG... :o This is one of the best gift I've ever had... I can't believe it, finally 30 hours pops up in my breeding den!!! I got my first Glimmer dragon, yay... :):D So, as soon as I put my 27 hours Diamond Prism's egg in the nest, I started breeding again, with the same standard combo of course, then 30 hours pops up..., wanna scream out loud... :D I am so very happy right now... :) Good luck to all friends still trying, I believe you all can get this beauty, keep trying and Glimmer will come to your island sooner or later, fingers crossed... :)

I used to think that Diamond-Rainbow hybrid was one of the hardest Diamond Hybrid to get amongst other Diamond hybrids, Rainbow tends to split, that's why I always scared to begin trying and I also used to plan to breed Diamond Prism after I get all other Diamond Hybrids, I am not confident and I doubt I can get one as I was always having bad luck breeding Rainbow hybrids plus it took quite a long time before I successfully bred my first Rainbow dragon, but with the release of Glimmer (because I love the design of Glimmer so much), I told myself that nothing is impossible and yes, finally I got both (with one extra Diamond Prism dragon as a fail after I got my first as a fail too)... And thank you so much, FlatFoot, for your cool and amazing design of Glimmer dragon and all other dragons after all this time... :)

Today I finally breeding 30 hours it's coming to my nest by my surprise using diamond and sweet tooth this was totally by accident because I put the wrong dragon on breeding good things come much later so never give up
