Donkey takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to produce! You will receive a Satchel or a Rope from each donkey! And of course you must feed them!

Do we know what level? My son has the donkey option but is level 26 and can't make buttons. Perhaps this will be like the goat introduction and you will get different goals as you reach the right level.

I'm checking on this. But this is an update so he wouldnt be able to make until he reaches the level.

I happy there is new update. I just wish it was for new machines. I find it so overwhelming when there are so many things to be made in the same machine. Especially, those with long production time. Even if we do the short ones in the day n long ones still night, hardly anything is made!
Pls s8 reduce the number of things produced in each machine.
id say we need more feed mills too...;) but I'm still struggling to buy my fifth mill. Can't feed my pet n have to put them all in storage.

The donkeys are cute! 49,000 coins for the pen is NOT. I'm still trying to save enough for the ice cream maker, which got derailed by buying the dang peach trees. Hmmmmmmmm. Decisions, decisions.

Donkeys are often used to protect the sheep. Great if there are wolves, coyotes and wild dogs etc. They use them in Alberta and other parts of western Canada as guard animals for sheep and cattle. If raised together, the donkeys are very protective and also raise the alarm for the rancher. They can do a lot of damage with their hooves if attacked. Also used in Australia and parts of the US.

I had no space near my other animals though. In Farm Story, I put a donkey in with other animals.

Swipe the bucket to collect from them when they are jumping, then feed them. Collect again after 1.5 hrs.

I wasn't thinking about the donkeys hurting them, I was thinking about the sheep and chickens corrupting them. Those critters cause enough trouble with the events on their own by being uncooperative with drop rates. I appreciate the information, though! Since the donkeys would protect the sheep, I will definitely keep them separated. They do not need bodyguards.

The minimum level for the goals is level 26. All crafts are at level 26 except for fancy handbag which is level 31.

You get these when you collect from the donkeys. They give either one rope or one satchel when you collect. Like other animals, run the bucket over them when they are jumping. Don't forget to feed them so they give you more items! 1.5 hr timer

Sorry I'm falling a bit behind on my goals so I cant answer you right now. If your farm is at a high level, I think it's safe to say there's no more goal if you dont see more after Goal 4.

Aside to high level farmers: Do you guys see other goals after Goal 4?

I'm at level 68. Finished hiking pack goal & was waiting for next goal E.g. Maybe handbags or rope nets or something. But nothing, no new goals. Don't want to make stuff that uses buttons & gold only to find I need to re-make for a goal I'm waiting on. Any ideas anyone? Do we just get on with life again lol

Sorry PANIOLA, we wouldn't be able to sell them cos they are farm features and it's not part of the game design for us to do so. But you can drop a post in the suggestion forum to ask for more land. :o

Features can be altered, but I understand the laborious nature and difficulties that can arise from such a change, making it highly improbable, though not impossible. IMHO, it's not necessarily the best business move to have us use valuable land space for a large item that costs "game money" and leaving less room for items on which we've spent real money (pets, decor, etc). But I'll follow your suggestion and ask for more land. Hopefully we'll be getting some before the holidays. :)Mahalo for your quick response.

The baby donkey is cute, but I think it is not worth $99,000 for a pen and $20,000 for four more donkeys. The limited time to complete the quest is also problematic as my work schedule is crazy this week. If it wasn't timed, I'd get around to it later. Going to sit this part out and try to coax my cows to give me nearly 100 bottles of milk in 18 hours for the delivery truck (63 bottles plus for cheese and coffee drinks). Oy vey.

Wish I could get a refund. I went and bought the second pen and animals yesterday just trying to jump-start the goal;
looked at the 8 donkeys :eek: , thought that at least the skin would make some look different.., oh well.

I have been playing for a long time, so money not too bad, but space is a premium and there are just too many donkey clones jumping in my farm, needed the 'skin' prize. This is just like the second studio i didn't particularly want and can't put away.

No it is a new craft in the studio made from ropes collected from the donkeys.

The cargo nets aren't really for anything. They are just one of three items that can be crafted from what we can collect from the Donkeys. They can be sold in the Side Shop or crafted to include in deliveries.

Quick question, is anyone else having trouble feeding their donkeys?! An hour and a half for 2 bags of donkey feed seems excessive when you're trying to feed 8 donkeys every couple of hours! "Drop the dead donkey" springs to mind... Do devs monitor these threads because I feel this needs looking at?

I agree with you! The food should be quicker to make, or the donkeys should take longer to drop the ropes and satchels. I end up resting them quite a bit. Pig feed takes only 20 minutes to make, and we collect from them after 3 hours.

Why do the donkeys eat every hour and half and it takes same hour and half to make their food? If you have multiple donkeys you can't make their food fast enough to keep them all fed. The timing needs to be adjusted.
