Note "Food Lab Oven" was already built no parts will be needed for it, you will need to do goals in order to unlock second and third recipe though

Plus I see two other new oven\stoves that are for gems and THOSE look like you have to build them? Yes, strange so far! About time though they got different on these goals!

This is one strange setup for goals. No stoves to build but there are 2 new parts.....hmmmmm....m

Looks like new parts will be for other ovens, and first one was pre-built for us on purpose :) Please see previous comment below from update thread


The Food Lab Oven does not need to be assembled, but other Goals in this update will require the new parts for another appliance.:)

Wow... the tables are not part of the goal so if we want to have tables that match the chairs we will need to pay gems for the tables!?!? I hope I am seeing it all wrong because if this is the case I will be quite disappointed.

I'am grateful that tables are not part of goal. I never waist gems in goals. And if you want to use chairs (I won't - bought them and stored them, I don't like them at all) there are many black or red tables you can use.

I used the orange and black chairs with Granny's tables. They look cute together.

This goal is all over the place. So at one point you have to go back and cook the first recipe again?? We have to ask neighbors for two sets of things?

I dont like this new goal layout at all. If i wanted to do confusing time consuming goals i would play the awful bs2 game. Im skipping this goal, i dont even like the final prize.

I like the final prize. It will work well with the other lab stuff I got last year. I don't really mind having to go back and cook more of the items on the first oven as part of the goal as I always try to cook all the items for gems anyway. I don't like that the tables are for gems, but as its not required to get the goal prize, it doesn't bother me. I really like the garden.

I'm kinda liking this new way of doing goals. Its a nice mix up. Breaks up the normal way of doing it. As long as I don't have to spend gems to finish/participate in goals, I'm cool with it :)

This is a weird way of doing goals, jumping back and forth on recipes. But it does make it more interesting because you don't know what to expect anymore.

Actually those are the sonic ones etc you don't have to purchase those.. the parts are for the actual stove for the goal.. It is a ways down in the appliance catalog for some odd reason

Pardon my ignorance. I've only been playing since May 2016 and it's my first time working on a monthly goal. I have two separate but similar goals in my game - Phoebe's Science Project and a Gift for Phoebe. I'm currently on step 5/7 in the Science Project.

To which goal is the Veggie Garden related? I've looked at the images posted by pcabral03 but I'm unable to determine. I'm only interested in the veggie garden, not the kitchen lab thingy prize. So if the veggie garden is part of a Gift for Phoebe, I'll work on that goal.

You will need to finish "Gift for Phoebe" then "Agnes' Colorful Plants" will pop up, finish that too and it will unlock Rainbow Veggie Garden.

Sometimes I don't like final prizes either, but still like playing goals to unlock the appliances and their recipes to master for gems (6 per appliance) which I save up for cool decorations.

Thanks you for responding. This is my 1st and probably last monthly goal. Too many hoops to jump through, especially as profits on the goal dishes are low. I play for maximum profit, so cooking a low-profit dish 84 times for 2 gems is not worth the effort for me.

I've been playing for 3 months and reached level 82, but have very mixed feelings about this game. I spent $90,000 on 3 lab stoves as I believed the veggie garden was part of that goal. The Gift for Phoebe goal did not show up until I was on stage 4 of the Science Project.

I've been playing since 2012 with alot breaks in between play, participate in all goals but gotta say the only one's I enjoy are during Halloween and Christmas 😏

That is because they are not really two separate goals, they all tie together and are one goal. Gift of phoebe would not have popped up until you did the other steps first.

Do you mean S8 or the poster? Poster was posting what both ways look like & that's the way 99% of floor decorations rotate in RS sooo not sure what you mean by "they rotated it incorrectly"

I have to complement the game designers on this one. I've loved all the parts to these goals. I just unlocked the Rainbow Veggie Garden, and WOW! I was blown away when I set it down in my garden themed restuarant. I love the colors and the size of the display. I went ahead and bought a second one to! Great job guys!

a lot of their rotations--i'd say all off the top of my head--are mirror imaged like that.

i too compliment S8 on these goals. the final prize isn't something i'm wild for, but i really am enjoying it not being the same-old, same-old on goal steps! keep mixing it up!

I got notification on my BS to install Restaurant Food Lab for free gems (for android). I didn't even know RS got a new edition if not for that notification. Everything is the same, so I uninstalled the old RS. This goal is weird but exciting. Hopefully it's not a monthly thing.

I had the same question so I sent an email to the support staff and apparently it was a timed goal. I had no idea since there was nothing stating a remaining time frame as other goals usually show. Im fairly new to the game. Im currently on level 27. From reading through this forum, I have come to find out that they have monthly goals and that goal was the goal for August. You are correct, this was a timed goal and once it expires , you will not be able to complete it.

After the new goals popped up today, I got several pop ups to complete the Science Project goal for 4 gems. I completed the goal last month.
