Food window opening at start

It's something I've noticed the past few days - the food purchase window opening upon start instead of my news feed at several points during the day. Happened to me before and I accidentally purchased some with gold, and I fear that's going to happen again. Happening for anyone else? Anyone have a fix?

I have not had this issue.
Try force closing your game to see if this helps.

My game froze while i was collecting coins then when it unfroze the food window popped up and BAM 100 gold gone. I could have cried. I have been saving to get another nest. 😭
