With 14 hours left ( I bought it 6 days ago, not on sale) I bred Achilles, Mercury, and Gold in the last 2 hours!!! Before then, nothing. It was worth it to me. When it expires tomorrow, I'm reactivating it. I want to go for Anubis, Angel, and Unicorn. So so happy with my new babies!

Nikkook, hopefully Kooky or one of the mods can give you some tips, I know others had issues getting habitats, but I cannot remember the solution, I'm sorry! :(

DIAMOND TEMPLE
This is an extract from the Game Guide: You can buy the Diamond Temple at the market for gold. The Diamond temple gives you a higher chance at breeding Diamonds, but only has a limited time of 7 days it has effect. After that you need to re-activate it, which costs gold and again lasts for 7 days.

I did some speed breeding this weekend with my diamond temple active. I used prime eternal x water, since Mercury, Anubis, dark angel and black diamond are possible with that combination.

I'm now the owner of FOUR black diamond dragons. :confused:

Speaking of black hybrids, I've been breeding Gilded Knight and Prime Eternal in my endless quest for Valiant and have so far produced Midnight, Deep and Electric. All black/blue. All new to me, despite my endless prior breeding of this pair.

I have to say ..investing in the diamond temple paid off very well for me, I got a few I didn't have and am pretty excited about it! I got 2 gold, 2 Anubis, diamond prism, Achilles, angel and unicorn. Diamond/rainbow and diamond/champion mostly used as breeding pairs. Good luck everyone trying!

With the temple i was able to get my Crusader in 3 tries, Queztal in about 7, Infinity in 20 with Queztal and Diamond, i also got another Diamond dragon breeding Wizard and Elf for Infinity and finally i was able to get my beloved Valiant in just 4 tries with Stalwart and Diamond. Will try for mercury and gold next

Congrats! I got bored with Olympus fails so bred Quetzal and Diamond for 5 minutes in hopes of Infinity or a second Diamond. Got 2 more Quetzals and then my first Gold pairing Diamond and Air. I have 5 more days left on the temple so I'll just leave those cooking for now and then try for Achilles or some other hybrid again tomorrow.

I'm very happy with buying the Diamond temple on sale this time! I ended up getting 2 new ones: Gold and Achilles, and 3 duplicates: 2 Quetzals and a second Diamond! I'm so happy especially about the second pure Diamond! Now I can use one for breeding and one for battling! :)

Thanks! The first time I bought it I only got Anubis despite speeding a lot so this was definitely much better. I'm sorry it never worked for you. But I'm glad you managed to get the diamond hybrids by normal breeding anyway! :)

@Gaillock I needed infinity, diamond and crusader gave a lot of crusader fails so I bred metal and goodwitch til I got a second diamond and my two diamonds just scored me an infinity :) so metal and goodwitch definitely work, I think my first diamond was with firestorm and island.. Good luck!

I went to move my diamond temple and hit the wrong button and sold it i am so ticked off at myself that was 300 hundred gold that i worked hard on to get. Can the main people help or am i []out of luck.
Question what is this button marked travel that ive seen on other islands and do i have thizls extar thing if so how do i get into it. Thank you in adavanced.

The temple only lasts for 7 days then you need to recharge it. Full recharge cost is 300 gold but usually goes on sale for 60 gold, this happens periodically. Next time just buy it on sale, when it's on sale it costs 60 gold to recharge it so you haven't actually lost anything.

As for the travel, that is to do with the Arctic Isles which is only available currently to iOS. If you have a Zemlin like flying machine you can access the Arctic Isles.

When you purchase, you get the temple and it is activated for 7 days. After 7 days it just becomes a decoration until you spend gold to reactivate it. There is no "reactivation" discount for already having one on your island.

What I do - buy the temple when it is on sale, after it expires in 7 days, I sell it for coins. I need the space and it just takes up room being useless as a decoration. They I rebuy when it's on sale. Rinse and repeat!

On Fantasy Forest I have been breeding continually since September and still no sign of getting Jade Karin. I have tried 3 times for three months non stop now. Others have gotten it but not me.
Helios I tried for 3 months an 300 X's and counting. I have tried for Helios 3 times. Nothing nada. I have tried Astromancer, Glimmer, Crown Jewel, Quasar using Diamond Temple and Boost Breed together. Nothing. All I get are original Diamonds I allready have.

I bought one when it was on sale for like 60 gold. I only used it the one time and it didn't help me at all with breeding hybrids. Here's my beef with the Diamond Temple; say you activate it and it does help you breed a Diamond but that dragon is a duplicate for you - like Infinity for example - now you have wasted 2 days of your time waiting for the 'fail' to breed. I think the Temple should charge on a per breed basis. For example - 2 or 3 gold just before breeding. Heck, TL could even make more money that way. Just my humble opinion :)

No luck so far getting any diamond dragons. This is two times I haven't gotten anything. I think the bingo games have made it more likely to get the more common dragons. I hope the free boosted breeding we just got helps us out. UNfortunately I won't get to play much this weekend so I might have wasted 160 gold for the temple activation and the extra breeding roost.

Just to illustrate the point above.

I bought the diamond temple at the very end of the offer period, so now I have it during the boosted breeding session. So I've been speed breeding with both the temple and the boosted breeding, spending about 1100 gold and I have managed to breed the following:
- 2x Diamond Prisms (speed hatched to clear nests)
- 1 Quasar (on nest)
- 1 Achilles (on nest. my main goal)
- 1 Helios (hatched to clear nest, another goal)
- 1 Crusader (on nest)

And I have 44 hours on my nest now (most likely Crusader again, but could be Gold). Had an Eclipse fail, and Turquoise and Mossrock that I didn't have before but got trying for Prism before I got fed up and changed breeding pairs. Also managed to breed the Bride and Groom dragon too. Now I'm done and will have to wait for my nests to clear before trying again. You can visit my island if you want to verify my claims.

I had wanted an Atlas, Golem, Prism, Glimmer and Valiant, so maybe towards the end of the weekend I will pop the eggs off the nests early and try again.

Just the straight standard ones. When you speed breed it doesn't seem to have any impact on which dragons, just their colours.
- Cosmic 10 & Diamond 15 (= Quasar & Eclipse)
- Mythic 10 & Diamond 15 (= Crusader & Helios)
- Olympus 10 ... ditto (= Achilles)
- Glasswing .... (Diamond Prisms & my current 44 hour breed which should be Crusader)

I tried to do Stone & Diamond, but was getting way too many long hour fails; Pegasus, Elders and more Brides I didn't need. Switched since I didn't want use up all my saved up gold during this small window of opportunity. Tried a few Gemstone & Diamond breed but didn't pursue it to Chakra since I wanted some others more. Might try to get Chakra next time around.

If anyone's interested in timings excellerated during speed breeding. I started breeding normally (no gold spend) for diamond hybrids (prism) after buying the temple. Waiting until I might see a boosted breeding weekend this week hopefully. Once I got the boosted breeding, I got to work. Spent about 1 hour breeding a whole lotta fails; I started seeing less stone splits, but ultimately gave up on Prism, went to try Achilles but also no luck. Used up maybe 500 gold. Took a few hours break to calm down, then went for another 40 minutes or so. The diamond hybrids then came thick and fast. Tried for Helios, got my first Crusader which made me sad. Helios came maybe 4-5 breeds after. Then switched to using Glasswing, got a Diamond Prism pretty soon, switched to Achilles got it within maybe 10-20 tries or so, switched to Cosmic and got Quasar with around 10-20 breeds, switched to Glasswing again hoping for Glimmer or Valiant, but then got Diamond Prism again *sad face* ... took a deep breath, pop the egg off the nest and tried again, within two breeds got my 44 hour breed. Decided I still had time during the boosted breeding weekend to let the timers run down and so am sitting pretty until i get another chance. Have been moving dragons around to optimise for the new incoming dragons.

It appears that after some speed breeding, splitting decreases and the chance of Diamonds also improves. Maybe there's a breeding "charge meter" that can acummulate faster if you're popping eggs in quick succession.

Did my final speed breed session and got the following on about 1200 gold spend to speed breed.

Popped a Gold from the last speed breeding session (Diamond 15 x Glasswing 11). Decided to go for Chakra (Gemstone 10 x Diamond 15) and got Mercury straight up. Wasted quite a bit of time going for Chakra. Lots of 20+ hour fails which burned through my gold reserves. Gave up and switched to Glimmer (Diamond 15 x Rainbow 10), wasted more time and gold until I hit a third Diamond Prism >_< Gave up on Glimmer and decided to try something easy like Angel (Light 10 x Diamond 15). Got Angel first time! With hope revived, I went for Crown Jewel (Royal 10 x Diamond 15) and about 10-20 attempts later had Crown Jewel. Wasn't sure what to do next... so I thought I would try Valiant (Dynasty 10 x Diamond 15)... First attempt got Right Heart dragon?? Second attempt got 48 hours on my nest!

And now I'm done with speed breeding. Got 7 new diamond hybrids, and a few extras, for about 2400 gold to speed breed. It was worth it saving up that gold for months. I had thought about buying Valiant and Achilles out right when they first came out but resisted the temptation to diverge from my plan. Quasar at 800 gold was soooo tempting too. Patience is really golden :)

Finally got my crown jewel with the temple active. I did speed some things up, but only when they were 4 gold or less to finish. I've had a few gold/anibus fails with the temple active.

What I did - bought the temple at 60, then when there were about 4 hours left on the sale, I sold it and bought it again for 60 gold. So I'll have it for two weeks and it cost me 120 gold. Got the dragon I wanted. Up next trying for glimmer and/or Helios while it's still active. It's worked for me every time, not always what I was going for, but I've always gotten a diamond hybrid or two.

When the diamond temple is described to increase chances of diamond breeding by 6, This information seems DECEPTIVE .
I have to say that most times I had spent over 1200 golds on speed breeding and hatching EVERY TIME the diamond temple was on sale.
I have to say that I'm really disappointed with the continuous deception in this game.
I just spent 1300 gold bars in the last hour in speed breeding and hatching and the only diamond i bred is one mercury. Why??????
Usually I only post positive stuff on this page because I respect those who make this game possible but this game has become just unfair. So I'm sorry I'd offended anybody with my post but I needed to vent

I think the thing with the Diamond Temple is that the normal odds of breeding an ultra rare diamond-type are >1%, so 6 times that doesn't really do much. Even with a 6X increase, it's still lower odds than breeding a super rare. It is deceptive, imho.
I've never bothered buying one because of this reason. Seems like a rip-off, especially since it has to be recharged.
I'm sorry you've invested and lost so much gold. :(

All I know, is that I bred a ton more Diamond types before the advent of the Adventure Leagues. I tried breeding them a long time, spending a small fortune, after the Leagues began, but I finally had to admit to myself that what I was witnessing was no coincidence. I paid a lot for Diamond Temples and the most I got with one, after the Leagues, was a Mercury.

If you consider the value that they put on other tasks, and the value they give for our moneys, I don't think we should assume that Diamond Temples are a great bargain, at any price.

I bought the Diamond Temple this week. When does the sale end? I think I should. The above strategy to get more days.

Hey guys, is anyone else hoping for another diamond temple sales? There were quite a few new diamond hybrids released recently and no temple sale for a while. I am keeping my fingers crossed that S8 will give us the temple for 60 gold bars soon :) as I am sure that only very few players can afford to spend 300 gold for the temple...

I've been hoping too! Since it's release I've done nothing else but try for diamond horn and have had no luck! I did get a mercury but that was my only diamond fail. You'd think that with weeks of trying I'd have something to show for it!

Me too! I have been trying to breed diamond horn and also gossamer for ages on my 3 islands and no sucess yet... it will be though to breed those little beauties without the temple so please give us a sale soon S8 :D

Diamond Temple
I paid 300 gold 4 days ago plus one gold per hour to shorten Diamond/Air breeding time. Every try so far has been a fail! I even tried the 12 gold boost twice. Still no luck. So far I've sold about 60 Air Dragons. I'm starting to think the Temple does nothing to boost chance of breeding Diamond Hybrids. If I don't score before week's end I certainly won't be buying it again - unless of course it's highly discounted

I am extremely disappointed with the diamond temple. I have one on my main account and have had pretty decent results, usually getting at least 2 or 3 diamond dragons while it's active. This time I haven't gotten any and it's been 5 days!!! I've gotten diamonds before WITHOUT the temple being active so I don't understand how it can be active for DAYS and I don't get even 1!!!

I bought one for my baby account and did get an infinity on my first try but it took over 20 tries to get quetzal. Now if it's supposed to be 600x increased chance of breeding a diamond, there is no way it should have taken that many tries. I feel *****ed and I am not sure that i will bother reactivating the temple again in the future.

I've only activated it once or twice, and I got absolutely no diamond dragons while it was activated. Now it's just a decoration in my park as far as I am concerned.

I sell mine when it’s not activated. You can sell it to save space and then buy it when you want to use it again.

I must be in the minority but I’ve always had good luck when mine is activated on my main account.
