I was clearly not thinking clearly. I wasn't thinking of the fact that it's a diamond hybrid when I posted. I agree it'll be breedable... And for sale of course.

It's written there in the notification that "he'll fight", so I assume it will be a tournament with hard opponents there (many Diamond hybrids, Champions, and Ultra Rares)... Last tournament was not easy, esp. Rd 16. Warrior Princess... Well, let's see.

I do believe it will be a breed able dragon but my long shot guess in that it could be the Arena crafting dragon if so I would bet that the battles needed to win would got out to 150 - 200 just like the mining dragon has increased!

If it's really a tournament (regular or flash), I can't really imagine how to beat it since I met Olympus several times in regular arena, it's very hard to beat since Olympus doesn't have weakness, and moreover Achilles is a "Diamond-Olympus". So, it's not an easy tournament boss.

Interesting to see? EVERY tournament is EXTREMEMLY hard for some...I've won 1 full tournament and try HARD every single time. They can't be made any harder for me.

Wow ... I've had some great luck in the last few days :) Decided to indulge in some speed breeding & got Achilles on my lucky 7th try ... infinity & Olympus. I used free boosted breed & have the diamond temple activated. It was also on my breeding roost that I activated when it went on sale the other day & started trying for Ares & Poseidon.
My 1st breed on the roost ... Hercules & Air got me Zeus ....New for me :)
2nd breed ... Hercules & Air got me my Poseidon :)
3rd breed ... Olympus & Air got me Ares :)
Totally amazed! Just for good measure on my 4th breed I got an Angel ... it was a fail as I was trying for Moon but not bad as a spare. Thought my luck wouldn't stretch to Achilles but I'm a very happy bunny right now :)

Yes of course you can. Angel x Olympus will make Olympus, Achilles or angel. Good luck!

Woohoo! I got it on the 2nd try! Level 10 diamond and Level 10 Olympus, using the 2nd breeding den. Doubt it matters but for the second try I used the boosted breeding. Never worked for me before.

It must be a banner day!! I got Achilles, Mercury, and Gold within 2 hours!!! I'm going to let my parents snuggle on their roosts overnight, then speed them and try for more diamond hybrids while boosted breeding is on sale. I never pay 12 gold because I 've been burned too many times. YAY Diamond Temple + Boosted Breeding!

Third attempt, 47 hours! Just activated Diamond temple before this attempt. Still haven't managed to breed Valiant, so VERY happy to have 47 hours on the timer!!

Bit of a red letter day really, as using the boosted breed (no temple at that point) I also scored my third Diamond hybrid in the Arctic Isles today.

I bred Diamond and Olympus some time during the night, didn't check the breeding time, but still have around 43 hours left. Verified that I did, in fact, use Diamond and Olympus, so it looks like I got it on my first try! Shocked, because I STILL don't have Valiant - and I have tried breeding him tons of times! Even with the Diamond temple!

It is great to see so many getting this one, and quickly too! I got it on my third try using Diamond and Olympus, Diamond Temple activated, and boosted breed. Will probably speed this one up so I can try for other diamond hybrids while my temple is active.

I wondered when I clicked on boosted breed if that was a bad idea as it helps you get rare and super rare dragons, not ultra rare.

How did you breed infinity? I have bred valiant, helios, dark angel and rainbow prism but I can't breed infinity! Go figure!

This is only the second time I've used diamond temple and to be honest the first time I got absolutely nothing, I know there are people that swear by it but I think it is pure chance.

It does appear to be very random, sometimes it works and others not! Bought it for Valiant absolutely no luck, bought it for Achilles and yes it worked but doesn't want to work for me with Valiant, still trying and it is still active! I sometimes wonder if some dragons are not meant to be though my Valiant maybe my next attempt who knows! Just gotta keep trying as tomorrow is another chance to breed it, you will get Achilles it just when and if the temple is active!

So paying that 60 gold for diamond temple has paid off. Now am going to try for VALIANT , then I will be super happy.

Makes me wonder if the gate keeper will ever allow. I tried for weeks on different diamond hybrids like Dark Angel and that Valiant and it never let me get it.

I have stopped counting but 4 a day for X number of days is where I am at, which is kind of sad really. Why the game forces you to breed 50-100 times for one MAYBE match is pretty poor.

Yeah, it isn't working for me either. Thought I might get lucky between the temple and boosted breeding but neither helped at all. Glad I got it on sale and not sure I'll bother to reactivate it later on. Still crossing my fingers as I really want this guy, but not sure crossed fingers will help any more than temple or boosted breeding have, lol.

Makes me wonder if the gate keeper will ever allow. I tried for weeks on different diamond hybrids like Dark Angel and that Valiant and it never let me get it.

I have stopped counting but 4 a day for X number of days is where I am at, which is kind of sad really. Why the game forces you to breed 50-100 times for one MAYBE match is pretty poor.

Yeah, Diamonds are hard to get, but that's why everyone loves them so much

Still trying. Temple has 15 hours left on it so I'll get one more shot with it activated and then I can try without it. Fingers crossed for everyone still trying! :)

With 9 hrs left on the temple I put in Stalwart with Angel and got 44 hrs... So either it's a Crusader or another Angel ... ( Hands folded ) please let it be Crusader.
So activating temple... Totally worth it...

My second time using the Diamond Temple, keeping in mind I still have not bred a basic Diamond. I did however breed a Gold on my first Temple try a few months ago. I purchased Angel and Astromancer, this is how I bred the Gold. Now, on my second try with the Temple, I bred a second Gold and now have 2 more 44 hour timers. I am trying to so hard to wait to see if I've finally bred a regular Diamond!!!! If I have two more Gold on my nests, I'll be so upset!!! I have been playing for 3 years!!!

I used my Diamond Temple (for the second time ever) and Boosted Breeding and got some nice dragons I didn't have. And now I just got 2 Darkangel in a row! I can't believe this! My very first (and second) bred Diamond :D I'm so happy :) :) :)

Got Achilles 2nd try with Infinity and Olympus using the diamond temple, I got Angel and prism too which I don't have,the temple really work.

I know this isn't the right thread, but I finally, after 3 years, bred a Diamond! !!! Ithrew Gold in and meant to put in Hermes but accidentally putt in Bubble Gum and there it was!!!!!!!!!!! So happy! !

Well I activated my Diamond Temple and got nothing. It is now 29X's and counting. One good thing fails are Olympus are only 6 hours. I could afford to start Diamond Temple again. I bought Valiant. Achilles was just too pricy for me. But managed to breed Valiant on my MythicDragons after many tries. Still cannot get Helios. Been trying for Helios on MythicDragons. You still get lots of long breed fails. Sure am glad Eagle was removed as part of Helios fails.

I came here to see if there was a chance to find out if there is another breed to use. I see someone got Achilles using Diamond and Poseidon. I know I got a good breed info from one of my neighbor's for Dark Angel=Deep/Diamond and got Dark Angel on LovesDragonLair and MythicDragons.

Hi I got a 47 hour breed Achilles=Diamond/Poseidon 2nd try. Thanks. If anyone is interested in breed for Valiant= Any Champion Ruins/Diamond will give you Valiant. It took me quite a few breedings but I got it. You might have to change your Champion Ruins dragon; but you will eventually get it.

My last Diamonds, or actually most of them, were bred all together, within a short period of time, but it took me months of trying before getting to that time period. So I'm wondering how long it'll take me to try for this one now lol

Finally got Achilles, breeding Diamond and Olympic. I bought the diamond temple when it was on sale and had second roost active, but got zero diamonds. Week after diamond temple ran out I got it.

The good thing about not getting the dragon you are trying for has helped me not hit the habitat cap as fast. The only new dragons I have are from events and wheels. So not having to put dragons into habitats because I can't bred them is a plus in one way. Not a good way but a plus.
