Mining Glitch??

I only noticed this after the recent update (5.2.1), and wondering if it is a glitch with the update or just a problem I'm experiencing.

I've tried to mine twice and the strutting chicken comes up followed by the dreaded message stating I need internet service to play the game. I currently have a strong wifi connection and can do everything else on the farm with no problem. To top it off, it used up a tool both times even though I didn't actually get to dig.

Is this a glitch anyone else is experiencing?

Sounds like you're encountering sync errors. :/ Let's try the following to see if it will help:


Turn device off/on and Turn wifi off/on
Disassociate the WIFI and reconnect
Powercycle your modem/router
