It's not just the animations. I've compared my game to some of the screenshots that were posted here (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?92764-Post-Pictures-of-your-Dream-City!). The ball on the roof of my bowling alley looks nothing like a ball, the train rails are deformed in the turn and apparently there's a duck on the roof of the building at the public pool. Just to give a few examples.

Is this sort of preventable measure not something that could be applied to other games where players often report performance issues? (DS,FFS,CS)

One other thing, I was thinking about making some sort of flow-chart to display what items are needed to craft other items. I have no idea if that would be possible to do at all, and if it is possible how it could be done.

Can you give us any ideas as to how the cost of buildings, businesses etc are determined for each level. Every time I purchase something it is more money for the next one. Just recently I purchased a Brownstone High Rise that holds 4 houses. I got it for 200 then when I looked to get another one the cost changed to 400. Yikes!

I am not entirely sure but I dont think the increase cost of buildings is by level. I think the price increases with quantity cos I bought 2 of the same building together but the second cost more than the first. I can list the price by quantity if that helps. :o

Thank you very much for your help! Nope, I have not updated them earlier as I was working on another Guide for Dream City. I have just done it except for these.

The Toy factory unlocks at 710 mastery stars, home decor factory at 625 and protein factory at 900. I'm guessing our numbers differ cos you didnt add the mastery stars of your businesses in storage. I captured the mastery stars before I started playing so it was easier to calculate. FYI the mastery stars of our stored businesses count towards unlocking factories and crafts.

I noticed after I bought a few houses, the next time I went back to get more the price had increased quite a bit. So buy as many as you can at one time to avoid the price gouging that occurs after a purchase.

Here are some suggestions.
redesign your city with a more efficient layout and try to make more space, if possible
create bigger clusters of buildings and reduce excess roads where possible
store some houses and civic buildings on land and replace them with landmarks as landmarks give the highest population per square
put the businesses on land into highrises
keep submitting business orders to get parts to fully upgrade all highrises
keep submitting business orders to get parts to further upgrade your inventory
keep submitting business orders to get mastery stars to unlock all factories and crafts

Plan for future when we get more land expansions
keep submitting business orders to stock up expansion parts so that you can expand immediately
keep submitting business orders to earn more mastery stars so that you can level up faster
keep submitting Boardwalk orders to accumulate more tickets for future purchases

By following the pattern in the table, level 11 requires 130 stars (levelsa are jumping 25 stars each level at that stage) and the population increases by 10 more than each previous increase so population should be 40 more than level 10 and 50 less than level 12 so it's 200 population. Not sure about the cash

I don't know but I can't see why it wouldn't be like the others, ie it will become available once the City is expanded to the adjacent square, ie the very top corner.

Meanwhile - expansion parts required to upgrade the inventory to 210 is 10 of each tape, crate & bubble wrap (as has been since the upgrade to 190).
