Yup. That seemed to be the pattern that developed last year about this time with "special" ovens on off weeks. Though, if I remember correctly, didn't one of the ovens offer double gems for leveling? The Bavarian one didn't, but what am I not remembering?

The oven you're thinking of with the double gems was the Colonial Oven. Hopefully if this oven is a gem oven then it'll be double gems too.

No we don't want gem ovens. We master ovens to earn gems. You can't earn many gems if each oven costs gems.

I really like this update. I'll certainly be buying the fountain.

I'm not really Feeling the Flower Theme and I love Flowers. Something missing... Oh Yea, Why no Tables and Chairs?? :( That would've been Nice and a wallpaper. I feel like the Tiles should have been Spent with coins. People don't have money to Keep spending On Gems.

Wow, thanks for the Summer Beach Box sale! I really hoped there would be one. I tried it four times and got Beach Dog, Refreshment Table, Beach Bunnies and Starfish Candle. I hoped for one of the second prices but this is okay as well.

Also, I like the update.

I think that was an LTO Summer Beach Cake around 4 years ago if I'm not mistaken.

iOS doesn't have any special offers. That one is from a few years ago. It was in a picture earlier on in the thread and someone was asking what it was.

my neighbor zaara picked my next theme for me a week ago, so i just redid my place with all flowers recently. she's psychic! i do wish the planters weren't so expensive, and although the fountain's a nice price, i'm not that fond of it--something about the blue square base part doesn't work for me. i'll stick with my lotus fountain. really happy with the oven, of course, and i like the trellis screens!

Is the new fountain 3x3 or 4x4? Not crazy about the base either but I love fountains... Only need 3 more gems to get it, and to see what it looks like. And i wanted those planters too but dang too much for jus one.

I absolutely love this update! I agree, some items could be less expensive, some could also be made available for coins, and not gems, but at least, this week we got quality content, which is worth spending coins or gems for! Everything is so adorable, fits in with many old decor pieces... and, of course, planters!!! Finally, we've got planters that are not part of a crate, but could be purchased independently and in any desired quantity! That's huge! I did not play the discounted crate, simply because I have all the items, except for the Beach Hut. I wish, the 1st prizes were offered as separate LTOs or Friday offers... Storm, please please bring back the Friday offers! And BIG THANK YOU for this week's decor and the oven!

Wished that the planters were for coins though.

Can't believe S8 actually listened and gave us 50% off for the summer beach box!!
Opened it 7 times and got:

Would like to have the sandcastle and beach hut too but I guess I should be happy about not having got all 4th prizes.

The same for me, i reached level 5 to receive extra gems for BS/RS and the decoration piece.. Looks like the Eiffel Tower? , but BS/RS shows me at 0% in reaching level 5, but on dream City it says i AM on level 5. ??

Keep progressing, it did this for me. But once I started upgrading my City Hall to level 6, it finally showed completion in BS &RS.

I opened it 15 times. The best I got was 3rd prize. I stopped when I had 7 refreshment tables. I got 4 penguins as well.

I opened it 5 times on my other bakery. I got the sandcastle on the 5th try. I really wanted that.

I really don't want to ever open a box again. I know I will though lol. Time to get my gems back up. I'm pleased I have my gem dispensers.
