I would advise not to complete the tournament if you are doing the tales as well. My last tournament skipped just like yours and after i got the papa dragon it wouldn't let me fight normal battles. All of those rds that were skipped will appear at the end and will show a lvl 0 opponent that the system will not let you fight so if you need battles to complete tales, you will have to wait until the flash tournament ends.

Good luck to everyone with all the events going on right now. I would usually consider this a fun week for a game with so much going on, but the ever increasing difficulties and nudges to use gold being more blatant has given me a different perspective. I usually enjoy tournaments and tales (even when going on at same time) but with this being a re-release and the feelings from the previous tournaments, i am skipping this one and just going to (try) use the lower rounds for hopefully easy wins for tales. Although, the first round Dapper beat the snot out of my lvl15 Diamond while doing little damage. I hope this is not a repeat of history as it has repeated more times than i care for from an app.

Side note: I thought i remember hearing something about the final tales prize as being a new type? I probably misunderstood again though.

Back to topic: Again, good luck to all who dont have the dragon and are going for it (or a second).

I guess I am one of the few that are happy they have re-released a dragon for the tourney! :D I was so excited to see Chimera as the prize dragon.
I don't have Chimera and am very excited to finally get a chance to get him.

Had some bad luck on Eclipse, won the round first try with Fire bB, but the game crashed :(

Wow! I understand that sometimes synch errors happen, but I just won battle #11 (Black Swan), set my one hour timer for the next battle, came back to collect coins, and I got the screen with the squatting purple dragon that said I have no connection. When I was able to log back in, I had to redo the battle... it dropped me back to battle number 10 (Soulmate) - which I lost this time around.

I did not gem speed. That means I lost an entire HOUR when it lost connection.

Not cool, S8! Not cool at all! :-(

I was doing so good, even thought I would finish early. Now I'm stuck on eclipse. I have tried so many things but nothing is working. I'll keep throwing dragons at him, something has to work.

Im getting rollbacks on Eclipse. I've never had issues with rollbacks and now it's constant. It's going to lead to reversing every penny if it doesn't stop.

Just lost to Eclipse and no rollback.

All other mobile games are fine. Everything else with DS is fine. Fed up with it.

The only possible way for me to win these Flash tournaments nowadays is to spend gold to speed up. My phone/game stopped giving push notifications when the next battle is ready and I don't log in enough to battle enough over the weekend including losses.
After some though rounds that include Eclipse and Infinity I won using Spirit Warrior 7.

The last 10 tournaments or so only 1 I won and all my basic element dragons are level 15! Even I have a diamond level 15! I'm getting tired of the game

I love the re-release of a dragon during a flash tournament! Hope it continues!

Not sure I will make it through the final round. Thought I would have to fight three rounds during chapter 10 of the Tale, so I wasn't working on the tourney. It turns out that this is the last day of the flash tournament but I don't have to battle in the Tale until tomorrow. Aaaarrrggghhh! My fault. I skipped this tournament for two days on purpose. :-(

Five hours and five battles remain. I have 143 gold, but I want the habitat that goes with the Tale.

Thanks, I finally got it with duchess the second time I tried her. I have been stuck on ruby for hours now and it's getting late here so I think I'm going to have to call a loss on this tourney. Unfortunately, this is the 3rd tournament in a row I've lost though I'm not as upset about this one as I was papa and sea turtle. I'll guess I'll try again next time.

My round 17 dragon was the level 1 round one dragon. My tournament ended two minutes early (as defined by my phone - and our wall clock which is synced to the atomic clock) both of which have the correct time down to the exact second. Frustrating! :-(

Also, my Tales timer still said 1 day instead of the number of hours,and minutes left. Very frustrating. I spent 4 gold to speed the final round, but the tournament was over. It was well over a minute before the Tales timer changed to the final day. Very, very frustrating.

I just wanted to thank everyone who posted what dragons they used for their battles, it helped me out a lot! I got Chimera by defeating him with my Diamond. :)

I don't really like the tournaments, I have stopped trying very hard in them because for me, not spending any gold, they are pretty much impossible to win. I was going for my second Ironbark dragon though so I was battling every hour and actually went really far in the tournament, found myself with 2 rounds left with 3 hours remaining. I got to the last round with 2hrs left, Chimera, and lost. Decided to go to bed because it is 1am and there isn't any point in trying again, so another tournament down the drains, this one especially painful because I was on the last round. Well, I went to my storage yesterday to pull out one of my stored eggs and low and behold I have a Chimera sitting in storage! No clue how it got there, but I'm not complaining!
