The Tropical Event is centered around the collection of Leis, and is a two part goal! See side goal line "Tropical Event!" for more info on the requirements to earn the final goal prize of a Lemon Lava Cake Recipe (on the Summer Oven, earns 20 coins per plate). You must be level 12 to participate in this event.

Lali visits every 2 hours and drops 1 Plumeria and 1 Pink Hibiscus. If you are a lower level player, Lali also drops 1 Pineapple Punch, 1 Macadamia Nut, and 1 Island Coffee, and other special customers have a chance to drop 1 Hibiscus.

Pink Hibiscus Recipe Drops: permanent recipes including recipes from the smoothie juice and SBC ones (excluding home oven recipes, goal reward recipes, smoothie recipes, and homemade ingredients) all have a chance to drop 1. Chocolate Macadamia Cookies and Volcano Cake drop 10 Pink Hibiscus.

Plumeria Recipe Drops: Macadamia Iced Coffee- 1, Coconut Drink- 2, Shaved Ice- 2, Pineapple Whip- 1, Lava Flow- 1

Ingredient Restock Times: General Store ingredients 5 minutes (coconut, sugarcane), Fruit Stand 2 hours (pineapple punch), Dry Goods 3 hours (macadamia nuts, vanilla bean)

The Tropical Event is here! The tropical expert Lali is here to bring the vacation feelings from her island. She stays for 12 days and brings us her tropical specialities; Coconuts, Sugarcanes, Pineapple Juice, Macadamia Nuts and Vanilla Beans! The time-limited recipes rewards Plumerias and Pink Hibiscus, which can be used to make Lei's on the Lei Maker. The main prize for this event is a new permanent recipe, the Lemon Lava Cake, which is made on the Summer Oven. To get the recipe within the time frame, you need to make 3-4 Lei's per day.

I started making macaroons to get the Hibiscus flowers. It indicates I will get a Hibiscus flower, but I only get 1 flower for every 2 bakes.

I think that it may be a chance to get the flowers and so you may get it sometimes and sometimes not.

I think getting a Hibiscus depends on chance. When I first made Macaroons, I got 1 Hibiscus Flower. It also appears that recipes on the Home Oven don't drop Hibiscus except Chocolate Macadamia Cookies and probably the Volcano Cake.

Lali must drop Hibiscus and Plumeria Flowers every time she visits your bakery.

Plumeria Flowers can only be acquired through recipes in the Tiki Bar and when Lali drops them.

Yeah sure. Your need to make about 3 Leis a day, although you would need to make 4 Leis on 4 days to make enough to reach the goal. I've only collected 24 Hibiscus so far.

Most of the normal recipes that say you get hibiscus are not dropping them. Is this a bug?
Apple dumpling and crieme br?l?e have not dropped any.
Nothing from cinnamon cake either
Please check if this is right or we will never get enough to make one lei let alone 40

For hibiscus, rather than relying on chance drops from other recipes, it might be better to rely on making chocolate macadamia cookies since they're guaranteed to drop hibiscus. Cammo's guide says they drop 12 per serving, but mine always drop 10. Maybe it's a difference in level thing (I'm at level 41)? Idk.

The hibiscus drops work the same as smoothies, we dont always get one per serving. They are dropped randomly.

Are you still not getting drops from Lali? Please force close your game and see if she drops you anything. Can you also check if you are playing on version 1.6? Please let us know if you are still having issues.

If they are random drop then why would we make anything that takes a long time and not be guaranteed to get anything??? Then making macaroon is the only recipe worth doing. Onky making the othe ones if needed in my orders. Don't think it's fair and reasonable that it's random on items that takes hours to cook. Something is wrong with this logic

Sorry about that! Mine actually drop 10 as well. I miscounted last time.

I'd say since the Macadamia drop so many Hibiscus you should only use the nuts and vanilla bean for that, and make the recipes on the tiki bar which do not require them to get the plumeria. That way you can spend much less time baking macarons.

Just like what you said. My friends miss many events, and they want to get this special recipe. However when they just know that it need 40 leis to get it, they think it's too hard to get it, as the flowers are also so hard to get,and one lei need 5 hours. Only 12 days of this event, i hope it can be a litter easier to finish the event.

The sure way of collecting flowers is baking the hawaiian recipes but it takes a long to bake them, AND, some of the ingredients takes 3 hours to restock (my restocking limit for Jack store is at 3, sadly because i upgraded the general and fruit store first). Lali won't drop any nuts or vanilla for me cos i m already at level 35). I can't get quick serves because of a synchronization problem between my storm8 and Facebook progress. (If i log on to FB, my progress resets to 0)

Seems like all the events are near impossible without quickserves! Wish they wouldn't make them basically a requirement :/ Really hope storm8 fixes all the fb problems, have you tried sending a support ticket?

For CammoAmmo, I think the regular in-game characters drop Hibiscus by chance as today for me only Liam dropped Hibiscus, while Charlotte, Jenny, and Jack didn't.

Yes, i send it a month ago with the screen shot, showing that my Game Center progress is at Level 34 (On my device), while Facebook progress (In the Cloud) is at Level 2.

If i choose to connect to Facebook, then game goes to Level 2.

On my droid, if I exit the game while signed into Facebook, settings, application manager, BS2, clear data then force stop. go out and open BS2 again, you should have your regular game but be signed out of fb. Sign into fb. When you have less than 20 quick serves, answer requests and return/accept , then your fb friends with their BS2 stars should come up for you. Not all of them, but the next few times you try more will come up. Then repeat process 24 hrs later...rinse, wash, repeat lol....hope this helps!

No, you need to have 10 Leis to finish that set of goals and move on to the second set. They will just be saved up in your Pantry Storage. In all you will have to make 40 Leis, so after those 10, you just need 30 more.

Good luck! Keep making those macarons to help with the Hibiscus :) And make sure u save the vanilla bean and macadamia nut only for the home oven recipes since they give 10 Hibiscus.

This might be a little premature but I think they might have fixed the hibiscus drop rate? For the past 20 minutes, I've gotten a hibiscus flower for every qualifying recipe I've served: 8 macarons, 2 mango swirl mousses and 1 croissant.

Edit: Just kidding, after that 20 minute period, it went back to like 1/4 or 2/5 hibiscus drops per macaron recipe.

Sorry about that! Mine actually drop 10 as well. I miscounted last time.

I'd say since the Macadamia drop so many Hibiscus you should only use the nuts and vanilla bean for that, and make the recipes on the tiki bar which do not require them to get the plumeria. That way you can spend much less time baking macarons.


Really beautiful theme. But, requirements are too high unless tied to the game. The drop rate of 3 hours for important and theme-centric ingredients for recipes is absurd. Also, as with the pi?ata fiasco which I quit, I don't like random ill-defined drops from recipes. Don't have the time to monkey around without focus. Good luck to all who want this!

You cant make the pineapplejuice, it's a random drop when you make pineapple colada smoothie in the smoothie mixer. If you are referring the pineapple whip, it's made in the tiki bar.

Well, I made a calculate. If I make two leis, which means I need 32 pink hibiscus and 6 plumeria, cost me 10 hours. As Lali visits every 2 hours and give 1 hibisucs and 1 plumeria, 10 hours will be 5 of each one. So only we need to do is get 1 plumeria from the tiki bar, and I think it's not so difficult.
On the other side, 32 minus 5(which come from Lali) equals 27, it means we need 27 hibiscus from any other ways.
A chocolate macadamia cookie need 5 hours to make while its ingredients only need 3 hours to restore. In 10 hours, we can make 2 cookies and have some ingredients left to make more cookies. 2 cookies drop 20 hibiscus, now we only need 7 hibiscus, and the macarron maybe the best choice.
Mm, if we sleep at 10p.m. before sleep we make one lei. In the morning we get up at 7a.m. , make one. At lunch time about 12, make one. In the evening about 5, make one. We can make about 4 per day. It sounds like a perfect idea, however it realy need a clock

Since I was so off on these two, does anyone know the name of the other ones? I know the pineapple drink is Pineapple Punch since it had the name in the value pack. Wish there was a way to find out the name besides waiting for ingredient to restock and hoping that the one u want to show will show up in the notification.

If I anytime open my market and place something or store something or even sometimes by mistake my market gets opened and if I close it, I have to immediately leave the game.. not even by the exit option but by pressing down the main button on my android.. if I delay in doing this even by half a minute my whole phone gets crashed.. I can't even restart it.. I have to forcibly shut down by removing the battery.. for all the changes I have to do in my bakery in respect of movement of furniture, appliances, etc. I have to download the cupcake version.. and that version takes more than 300 mb space in my android.. so I can't even download it and keep.. I recently changed the whole layout of my bakery and it was horrible.. I had to do back and forth from normal to cupcake version.. because I couldn't move the fruit plants, smoothie maker and the gourmet ingredients in cupcake version as they don't show up there.. and whatever movements I make in normal version 9/10 times don't get registered.. and my phone gets crashed in between.. usually at the end of every event I have to download the cupcake version to place the final prize and again at the start of next event I have to download it again to remove the previous event's appliances and place the new appliances..

Only the event recipes drop flowers every serving, the rest are random drops and some not at all.

The Volcano cake gives 10 hibiscus, see CammoAmmo's post #2. I'm spamming macarons to get as many hibiscus as possible, besides making the event recipes.

Can you give a list of the specific items that are not be counted for the Bakers Club?

The items from the mixers do not actually show up on counters. After you mix an item , it goes into your inventory so you can use it to make another recipe.

Baker's Club: I've notably made 5 of the iced coffees but only 2 counted for it. As for the rest I wasn't watching too close, but I think a set of chocolate chip cookies didn't count either. If it happened with anything else I haven't noticed, but I believe at least one of the coffees didn't add to the counter's total.

Frosting: I know. I had 2 (checked with my chocolate cake recipe) in my inventory and got started on the third. When I completed the third I went right to the chocolate cake and it said I was still missing one, hence my issue with that. Doesn't matter now cause I finished it by now.

Keep trying ginormous. As samillian says, if you have any quick serves available you can double the speed of the leis, by waiting until only 1 is needed to serve.

The lemon cake is a 20 coin recipe (although it does take 5 hrs to bake, as opposed to the Pride Cake, which only takes 2).

I noticed that for all my secret bakers club orders, the macadamia nut drink is persistently requested, without fail. The pineapple squash or lava drink never get asked. Nor the macadamia cookie or volcano cake.
This is really exasperating because i really need the island coffee (restock is 3 hrs) to bake the cookie and volcano cake to get the tons of hibiscus.
So for me, it is one or the other (SBC orders rewards or Hibiscus?)

I've never tried this hard on any event. I always would stop after completing one part of goal lines from the previous events. I'm barely at 21 Leis and am not sure I will finish although I really want the recipe. I'll try all the way to the end and see if this pays off.
