48 Rounds over 14 days!!! I don't know how far I will get on this one but Hades looks awesome and is a different body style so I am eager to try. Good luck everyone.

I am sorry to see that streak (Rounds 3-14) come to an end.

In a bad steak right now with 9 losses in three rounds (17-19) including 4 losses by a Level 15 Crystal Unicorn to a Level 8 Rock Rhino.

Glad to see the end of this phase of the tournament. A 6-10 record for the second day is a very por record.

Day 3 went a bit better than Day 2 with an 8-9 record.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel but the Emerald Dragon on Round 45 is giving my Onyx Direwolf fits and it has lost 5 times to push my overall record into negative territory.

Looks like I will have a difficult time of making my goal of finishing the tournament in less than 100 battles. Well I did it. Won the last two rounds with the battle to finish at 48 wins and 49 losses.

I'm sorry! I know I normally put the element I used in the battle in bold but this weekend was a crazy busy beach weekend and I just didn't have time! I have been following Chippy's chart that Laura posted last tournament (saved it to my phone thank goodness!)

Tuesday I'm very lucky this is a fourteen day tournament, because today we are leaving for a week of camping and family visiting... will try to keep up but looks like I'll be falling a tad behind! As much as I love tournaments I tend to attempt to set an example for my kids and go low tech while camping! Happy Battling... will updated when I can.

In Round #8 the opponent is a level 6 Cerberus from the current Storybook Adventure. The prize fro winning the round is 5,000 coins and a Hound's Tooth that is needed for the Storybook Adventure.

Despite a message displayed to view the prize in storage. I did not fine it there. I will find out in less than 2 days of that is an issue.

Thanks for the heads up. Hope it shows up or is not an issue. I'm almost there and will post my results.

Several hours later......
I battled Cerberus and took a screenshot of the win screen showing I had won the hounds tooth. I checked storage and it doesn't show. I'm not too worried about it though, the win screen always says to check storage after a win and there's never anything there until the tournament prize has been won.

Example: during world events we can play tournaments and each win adds the items needed to progress in the world event. Those types of items are never present in storage.

I think I got it on my 3rd or 4th round. Iv had worse losses but a bit worried this time round as things are needed for the storybook. That's gonna be a nightmare if we can't get to our past that round. Some tournaments are ok, others are so difficult! Don't want that to mean a loss in the tournament and story book!

You are experiencing roll backs... perhaps your wifi connection is weak? People have said visiting a couple neighbors after your battle and before you close out helps protect you from it.

I am glad it worked for you. I used to use Santa Claws against the Treasure animals but I have taken to using the Toy Poodle to get that extra Nature Punch.

I've failed with most of my water animals, my prize pony, treent (all strong) I haven't tried my beast yet but my beast is only at level 4 so I assume it will fail too. I will try it next and see. Then I'll try some fire animals.

Very frustrating.

Edit: Still stuck, nothing is working not caturn, or my fire/water/treasure, treent. This is awful.

I apologize, this is not to brag, but observation:

I seem to be having exceptional luck with this tournament so far. I don't speed it and I've taken a few hours off here and there so it's an average battle scenario. I'm at level 30 having only 10 losses so far. The records of my battles are in post #8 on page 1.

It will be interesting to see if the battle pattern continues now that the third required hounds tooth for the storybook has been acquired.

The battles are so much easier after I upgraded my Goldscale and crystal Unicorn to level 15! I wish I had enough food to do this earlier. I had a difficult start in the first three rounds (5 losses), then quite easy battles till I had difficulties with Barn Owl (round 27, 5 losses). I was also stuck in the round 33, I lost 5 times against Psyena.

After being stuck on Onyx Ox for a day I'm now stuck on barn owl go figure. Not having much luck.
My Crystal Unicorn 2 fails. Ancient Sloth 2 fails.

EDIT again: I'm so annoyed. I beat the barn owl went back an hour later to find it not beat. I had to try again and failed. Yesterday I was stuck all day on one round and today the same thing. Not fun.
Glad that you finally beat the Onyx Ox. To lock in the win after winning a round in the tournament , after each round, go visit a nbr or a community member to save/lock in the round. Hopefully this will stop the roll backs.

Glad that you finally beat the Onyx Ox. To lock in the win after winning a round in the tournament , after each round, go visit a nbr or a community member to save/lock in the round. Hopefully this will stop the roll backs.

My tournament has gone downhill. I seem to take one day to finish 1 or 2 rounds. At this rate I don't see making it in time.

Until now I have 37 animals who have lost and hang in RD. 32 firmly . Now I hang again 5h. Firmly. I do not understand it, that is so hard to defeat a dark/nature animal. :(

I've tried so many fire animals against Cerberus, but I don't remember trying my Jingle Shells yet. I don't have a chocolate rabbit to try. Will report how Jingle Shells does. :)

I'm Battling #43 Pearl Peryton and realize that I do not have an epic level dark/lightning fighter! Of course There are a few specialty elements in my forest that aren't epic, but this one shocked me ....haha .... I guess I need to spend some time with the Evo flower as soon as possible.

Just finished the tournament with 48 wins and 49 losses. Details are in Post #4. My worst rounds were 37 and 45 with 5 losses each. I did finish with a flurry by winning the last 2 rounds in one battle each. Looks like I can easily wait until after the Storybook Adventure to Hatch Hades since there are about 7 1/2 days left. The 2,500 Apple reward isn't much, but Hades does have a different look so I might break him out of storage in a few days.

It's been a long week and I hope we don't do this again too soon.

Congratulations and thank you for posting your results! They were very helpful, especially the elements of opponents. It's my first tournament with level 15 Crystal Unicorn, and it is so much easier than earlier tournaments! I only have four rounds left and I hope to finish the tournament tomorrow.

Thanks for the suggestions, the Pearl turned out to be the lesser of my problems, it went down to the Goldscale (treasure).

But MAN, what a never ending NIGHTMARE the nightmare turned out to be! Lost 3 times before bed and another 3 times in the morning. Took him down after repeated tries with treasure.

Last night I was laughing at myself, because: there I was, still fighting the fight when I had thought I might finish 24 hours earlier.....and after slogging through 2 days of losses it was looking like I was going to have to go at it for yet another 24. I decided to wage the first battle on Hades with the Goldscale for loyalty since I had stuck with it through so many losses and boom! Critical hit on the first tap. What a Relief!

What is going on in my head! I looked at the rounds when I battled and was so sure it was around 46, so I thought great, I'll be done soon if all goes well. Well later I realised I was actually only on round 41! Must have been seeing things! Then for some silly reason I put my epic crystal unicorn in the breeding den! Why!!! Was looking for it to battle and thought, huh, where's my unicorn then reality hit. I must need a sleep.

After having days of fails I finally got to the last round and beat Hades with my Caturn.
I was almost about to give up. I think that tournament was the hardest one I ever won.

I'm dumbfounded! I've been stuck on Round 45 emerald dragon for over a day. I defeated him with an ember bear Lvl11 in my other account. I've tried EVERY fire and dark combination on my roster and cant get past him to save my life!

Any suggestions? I don't have Gem animals yet.

Just now finished the tournament! Overall record was 48-61 over 9 days. The last 2 rounds were all I did today. Had 4 losses to Hades and then took him down with Pyro Pony.

Worst rounds for me were Onyx Ox (5 losses), Obsidian Cyclops (7 losses), and Pearl Peryton (8 losses).

Congrats to those who finished and good luck to all who are still battling.

I worked hard to finish early..and I did. It took 7 of the days. I have participated in every tournament since the game began and have gotten to the end with a win for very few. Maybe 1 success for every 5 or 6 tournaments because I can't spend every hour of the day battling. So I vote for more of these longer 14 day tournaments with more battles to do. It is easier to play the game and still have life.

Just got it, never doing a battle like that again. Also getting a little annoyed with Fantasy Story, with them changing stuff to make you want to spend more money on gems, and with very little land. Example when they had the trios, the land for them was coins, not no more. Another one is I had to sell a lot of my animals, to put my new ones in. Even though I sold the ugly ones, that's not the point. I need more land. I also got over 40 animals in my storage that I can't get out.

RLrox you're so close to winning. You have til Friday. You'll do it. Every tourney there's one animal that takes up a day for me. And sometimes it's a low common or rare. Or something everyone else sails through. My Treasure animal always does it for me versus the PP. But if you don't have a treasure (many do not) just keep using your strongest Dark over and over. Good luck & hang in there.

Thank you for your positive comments, I'll keep plugging on! Have tried both my treasure animals several times, as well as citrine peregrine and onyx dire wolf and every other dark/electric combo I can think of! I must be up to about 20 losses by now and I'm sick of the sight of it,lol

Last two tournaments I've tried really hard, with all my rare and super rare animal, and after half a day of trying to beat just one animal, I usually get mad and just hit them with the Pyro Pony and **** them in 2 shots, regardless of what their weakness is... I can't even. I just ****ed the Cyclop in 47 level with 2 shots from Pyro Pony... And half of the other animals in this tournament... I won the last tournament with mostly Rock Rhino...

I had trouble with the same one! I can't remember how many of my Dark animals I tried but I know that, despite other people having success with Beast, he just wasn't winning it for me and neither were any of my other Darks & I don't have any Gem animals OR a Toy Elephant as has also been successful for a friend of mine! What ended up winning for me was Hercules! Good luck! You're bound to win soon, if you haven't already by now! :-)

I am so bummed out. I mean 48 rounds and 14 days... And I still couldn't complete the tournament.
And all because every time I wanted to play I had to delete and reinstall my game!!!
Support was not very helpful and then after some time it became so tedious for me to play that I lost the will.
If this continues then probably I will give up totally on this game .
