Flower Power horse and sheep are cute but they aren't THAT cute. I wouldn't have spent that much for them. The "gift" option vanished once I spent my $1.99. Oh, well, got my purple alicorn at long last - now I can save up for the dragon once the monster hunt comes back. I also finally got my troll pit so that should help. I don't even send adventures everyday, so for me It's definitely not worth it, as in my case it would probably just sit there useless. If you, on the other hand, do the adventures every day and still have some materials to spare, it would be a great investment :)

Agree. I havent even seen it in any kingdom yet - that basically shows that people can't afford it.
I would also pay gems , but not real bucks..
Hopefully , these items will be added into the game like a super rare drop or a reward for a difficult quest or just in market for gems.
Who knows, maybe S8 will hear us.:)

Just thought I'd go ahead and post this incase anyone else is around the same progression as me and wondered if the sale might be worth it. (I'm on a limited budget so I really have to think these things through lol)

My sale shows Essence of the Forest - 20 Forest Seeds, 15 forest Petals, and one of each plant (thistle, dahlia, and I assume the Paradise Bloom which i don't have yet) for $6.49.
From my thinking, lets assume I don't need the seeds or petals anymore, and so that makes it 3 Plants for $6.49 or about $2.20 each.
For about $2.33 (Assuming buying gems at regular price -120 for $6.99) you get 40 gems.
If I thought this out right, it's about 40 gems per plant. Now you could value the Paradise Bloom more if you are currently on day 10 of the event, but that's a whole other thing. (You can also factor Sale gem price or free gems, but again a whole other thing.)

I'm on day 8 myself, still need about 20 Forest Extract (Thistle drops), 40 Nectar (Dahlia drops), and 10 Forest Blooms (Paradise plant).
My drops haven't been horrible, a lot of the time 1 Extract, the odd 3-5 sometimes. With 2 and a half days left I think I'll manage the remaining Extract no problem (as it's 3 gems to speed up anyways if I'm short) and the 40 nectar will be close, but that requires 1 gem to speed (again if I'm short). I imagine I wouldn't need more then 15-20 gems at the worst to help speed.

Like I say I'm on day 8, waiting on day 9 and have all my Petal Potions/Forest Essence ready. For me this sale isn't ideal. I have free gems from downloading their suggested games so i think I'll be able to squeak through fine without additional plants or money being spent.

Getting the Paradise Bloom early is very tempting though, I will admit.

:pThe only thing I have to do tomorrow is collect as many blooms as possible (30 in fact) to make the 3 forest magic (1 is a reward from part 2) for the tree upgrade. I've got everything else collected or crafted for the upgrade except for a few more extract.

So the only item worth anything to me is the Paradise Bloom & I have complete confidence I'll get all the blooms required to craft the magic for this last Chapter ;)

That fact, plus the same glimmery purple reason NW mentioned (How did that picture get so big?!?) helped make the decision easy for me. BUT I'm only working on one tree and I have everything I need for that except 29 blossoms. (We got one as a reward somewhere along the way.)

If I was doing multiple trees, if the flowers kept their drops, or, if I was way behind on collections, it would have been very hard to resist.

Unless you really like the look of the FP Sheep I'd skip this offer. Yes, you get gems with it, but not at a discount. The only "extra" drop is flower petals which can be had from coin bought flowers (except red petals). There is a gem sale on now that offers 120 gems for $3.99 US and a White Sheep has the same drops and timer for only 35 gems. Or get the 250 gems for $6.99 US deal and choose the Black Sheep for 180 gems that guarantees a prime cut every drop. Heck, you'd have enough gems left over to get the 35 gem Red Trillium flower to get red petals! Hope this helps! :)

Double check if there is a less expensive way. Based on the sale price of gems paying @ $30.00 for the gift with the largest gem purchase. For @ $15.00 you could buy enough gems to get 44 cabbages from the tent

You can only have two huts in your kingdom, one bought with gems and one bought with gold troll tokens. I wasn't very specific in my earlier post. Sorry if there was any confusion.

Back in the Season of Luck (March 2016) the Rainbow Pots drops Expansion Permits. After I could purchase as many as I could I had 29 of them. Last month got only 1 Expansion Permit from 10 and stop. Don't need any Rainbow Pots. They were useful in upgrading buildings, Glimmergate, Kaz, and the Jousting arena. And now the Blythewoods.

Nice pairing I think, with the offers. Buy the 500 Gem pack, get raccoon and discount Ali, and still have gems to spare. I missed out on the last raccoon sale because of funds but I think this combo is worth me finding a way.

PS- I was over thinking things. For anyone who wondered what the Truffle Trove drops from what I read... Is truffles. I laughed at myself when I read the answer. Trove reported as 24h timer.

Thanks for posting the original price of the Ali, I couldn't remember and was curious. I just got the 4.99 VP with the energy/glimmer trove/maple tree/gems about a week ago and I dished out a bit last month for DS. So, I don't think I'm ready to drop $20 for gems/raccoon even though he's very cute. The truffle trove is cool but Sir P takes care of my truffle needs and 2 nuggets really don't justify real money, though 5 or more would. The energy is not needed since the event ended but if we have a monster hunt on Thursday I may go ahead and get it, I'll just wait and see on the VP. I'm very much on the fence about the Ali. 600 gems is steep, and 420 is better but I would wipe out my savings and I've been waiting for the rest of the gem building I haven't got to go on sale. I just got coins, xp, and a tomato. I have to assume same drops as Pepe Le Skunkupine - wheat, sugarcane, and all that nonsense. I got him because he's cute.
I don't spend on gems often and usually just use what I get free from downloading games but to me the Ali was worth it overall. I only have one regular and one flowerpower one and they are very useful to me during events. I tend to not buy the value bundles because the return on the investment is so small/temporary. This raccoon was my cherry on the sundae. Not really worth it, but a fun bonus. For me anyways :)

I don't know if there's a set number of days these sales go on for. When cabbage hut was on sale someone had been saving up but just missed out. I want to say maybe 3 days but I'm not sure at all. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a week.

Oh and depending on how many nuggets you have to work with....the fact that there is a value pack including nuggets...makes me wary of using any.

It seems like android players are being given the opportunity to get previous Barons Tent items (all of these are in the Inventory Guide) now that this platform supports those items. Value packs are sent to random players and there is most likely an algorithm of how this works. It's the same across all games.

I'd like to know from long time players how useful these items are and how much of a real value this is...I dont want to shell out for a meh deal.

I've been playing a while and have a number of these gold pots, I can say it was an extremely pleasant surprise to see the handful of things each had in it. It's not flower petals and things like that it's actual materials I think. that said they are extremely rare and although I maybe have 15 of them I've only opened two of them just because it's like smashing a beautiful vase you have up in your house considering I love the way they look and also it's never been the same when I opened him so I thought of them more as rainy day items. I'm sure summer you can find a better detail of what comes out of them. As for the energy crates I personally would never pay money for them, Ever. The only thing that would be a personal choice on how you would use them would be the trade tickets, I work hard enough for the ones I have that I would never trade the amounts required to get things such as ornate supplies that I can make myself. I'm at level 41 and I managed to only need two of the expansion permits you need to create with 30 trade tickets. I didn't see a price attached to that offer and there's a personal difference and what people use the tickets and pots. I would buy that package if it was 499 but no thing more than that. I'm interested to see what other players think though, there are lots of been playing longer than me! :) hope that helps a little bit

The Pegasus statue is teeny weeny, very disappointing.
Golden arches do not blend in with the walls, which surprised me as I thought they will serve as more refined gates. Unfortunately, they must be free standing.
The throne is lovely and my favourite.
The piles of gold are useful for squeezing them in places where nothing else fits.

Ok, first of all if you are a total sucker for anything faerie like me, you'll be squealing w delight when you see the faerie fountain. In this game small items are generally a pita bc they get lost etc. But these are adorable even if they're only 1x1. Five hr timer as noted by Solientus, drops might be...?? And the Faerie Alicorn? I just shut down my game to make sure there was no side goal pt 4 for the event and...the deal popped again.

If mines a glitch...I might have to take advantage...even though I really shouldn't.

The Magic Garden drives me up the wall, I wish they'd give it 4 sides as well :P

To long time players, do you imagine the golden mine will ever be brought back in a value pack? I wish I saw that one and got it! (Value pack only) I wouldn't get it/or any other item if it came back as the included bonus with the $29.99 - $99.99 gem pack. I could see a small chance of buying the $19.99 pack for this but only if I havent put up my iPad after I have taken my sleeping pill that makes me loopy haha!

Do things ever reappear like the golden mine though value packs or only again in gem purchase specials?

You are right. Once I restarted my game, the offer came back.

I also wanted to report that on the firs collections one fountain dropped 1 Fey Crystal and 1 water and my second fountain dropped 2 Fey Crystal and 1 water.

I swear I saw a drop of 5 Glimmerdusts. Regardless though it was a multi drop, xp and pretty sure it was 45coins.

Ali is like Flowerpower for energy drops. Just got 4 Energy.
Edit- can't say I noticed any faerie drops either like sunny said. I'll keep a better eye out tomorrow.

Edit: I will say that while the Flower Power Alicorn drops petals and the Glimmeregg Alicorns drop eggs, this Faerie Alicorn does not (at least didn't for me) drop Faerie items along with the energy. I saw no black banner, so it's not because I am maxed on items.

It drops between 4 and 100 energy every 22 hours...if you have the Glimmeregg or Flowerpower Alicorns, I think it's the same type.
(Getting 100 is very, very rare though)

For those wondering about faerie drops from the Faerie Ali, I think it will be like all other "faerie" animals, which is a chance for GLIMMERDUST in addition to that animal's usual drops, not fey crystals, faerie jars or faeries murmur. (And it looks like S8 got those drops covered with the Faerie Fountain.) :)

So, msmorg ~ in the case of this bundle's 22-hr Faerie Alicorn, its drops should be:
1XP, coins, 4-10 energy (with a rare chance of 20, 50 or 100 energy) plus a chance for glimmerdust.

The Glimmer Crystal; Jewel Cart and Golden Mine are all in the market for a limited time only - under decorations - they are all functional (not decorative). All are listed in the Inventory Guide. :) they have previously been released only as 'Gift with Gem Purchases'.

By the time I find out how much time "limited" is, it may be too late to purchase. So, if you want them, now's the time! :)

I never knew that!!! I checked the inventory guide and it listed a couple of cool stuff ..so I bought it with all my saved gems :( just to be sure ,I speed it up ( after turning off wifi ) and it dropped....3 silver ..I am so mad right now

If this is not false advertising,then what else is? Is silver and glimmerdust golden?? I would have atleast bought the jewel cart instead, which ALSO drops silver and jewels..it looks much prettier and is 280 gems ( compared to the false advertised 520 gem GOLDEN mine )

A humble request to SW..can you pls add silver, g dust, and jewels as drops for the golden mine in the inventory guide ? It would be best if it is mentioned as the first amongst drops..the current list seems to be misleading people to think it only drops golden items..thanks
