Got this on my 14th attempt. I thought it was another stuffin puffin so I didn't hatch it right away but then decided I'll have just one more go before trying again tomorrow. So I speeded it up and got a lovely surprise on the nest. My fails included paradise parrots, rubble rooster, stuffin puffin, fairy ferrets, papayak, skyena, snowmanatee and some players might be interested in this particular fail - three crystal unicorns from the combo. Not sure if I like the egg design though. Best of luck everyone.

Well over 700 gems spent and no Porcupineapple :( my first fail was a Crystal Unicorn which didn't help spending 100 gems just to speed that away. I already had one and had no place to put this one so I just sold it. I like the Porcupinapple but not as much as the other two in the trio so I'm glad I got them at least

I didn't take it that way at all. There sure are a lot of combinations, similar to the Gift Givers Trio when I ended up breeding my second Crystal Unicorn while trying for the Teddy Bear. Good Luck with your breeding, I am still working on breeding the Cuckoonut (24 fails and counting).

What level were your Cuckoo and Yak? I had many fails with them at Level 4 so I raised them to 5 but I don't want to have to bring them to epic to get the final animal.

I left both at level 4 but I think I just got lucky with the trio after a bad few weeks of not being able to breed any of the newly released animals!

I love the habitat and used my gems to place more than one. Now the cuckoonut is wandering around it.

I have NEVER, and I have been around to try with diligence for every trio, NEVER succeeded in breeding the third of a trio. Often I have only bred one of the first two, and my forest has never seen even one of the skull trio. I am really trying, I always do, but no luck yet with the Papayak so chances for the porcupinapple look grim.

And yes, in my real backyard here in Hawaii I have growing coconuts, papayas and pineapples. Maybe I should go outside.

If I had counted correct You Are the third one to breed the Porkupineapple and told it in the forum!

I think I will give up, because by breeding with my two accounts I got until now about 36 fails and I recognized that often the breeding timers are separated 3 or 4 hours. So it is an incentive to speed up.

Sounds like you have a papa penguin and a skyena... some pretty lucky fails! Our pineapple friend is an 18 hour timer. I still haven't gotten him, all I've managed is a TON of turtisles and an armadillo. 😢

I try really hard not to complain about anything lately, but, I see very few people who have bred the third of the trio. Even speedbreeding on iPhone or iPad did not help here; neither does having a tales concurrently with extra long fail times for thunder hawk which is needed as well as other animals and animals for tales. So now the trio disappears? Hmmmm. Biting my tongue.

Well, I got a Jackalope, which I didn't have yet, and a Papa Penguin, which I can't complain about. But no Porcupineapple. ...and no CU fail either. I would have liked the Porcupineapple....I have never completed a trio yet (and I purchased the second in the trio to try for the third) and I can still try for a CU in the future. Ah well. Congrats to those who did breed one! :D

Well I just tried one last time and got an eight hour timer. No Porcupineapple for me. Refuse to speed it and try again because knowing my luck I'd just get another turtisle. Congrats to those who managed to get him!

I won't get it either. Spent 7 gems to speed a Skyger (I think) out of the den then tried again and got 12 hours on main account, with only 6 hours left. I am upset about the 7 gems wasted so I won't try again. Baby account has a 6 hour egg and a 3 hour breeding (for chp 5) so I won't spend 9 gems on this. Congratulations to all those who got it.

I only managed to get the skeletal steed during that trio and I have never gotten all the animals of any trio in the time I have been playing. Oh well!!

This was ridiculous! I was fortunate enough to breed cuckoonut and papayak early. Spent 1500 gems trying to breed Porcupineapple because I also needed Skyena and Papa Penguin. Short breeding window for four new animals and then running a storybook that requires specific breeding???!!!!

I believe I bred every other possible animal except for Paradise Parrot, including a Crystal Unicorn which I have already bred 3x before. Why should I spend money when the odds are so poor?

17 minutes before the end I got at least a 16 Hour Timer. Fortunately it has been not the forth papayak but the Skyena. A nice fail I don't have!!
