Up until Level 25 I've been having it relatively easy my fire has taken out every Super my metal has taken out every champion and my King has taken out all of the rest. All of those are level 15. however round 25 Valiant has taking out all three of them. not too sure what I'm going to use next

For those with Dueler problems, try black yellow combination - it worked for me and stevenlee2905 (saw him used Emberglow and Summer Elf, I used Venomous).

Thanks for the advice on Prize Fighter. I will use that next time I see a Shell. I used an old rock star to get Shell (and barely beat it) - Splatter 10 bMb.

I like info from a variety of sources, and looking through, I see one dragon repeatedly being victorious, well, if I don't verify the name and discount the repeat posts (5 long listing in three pages), it skews my game because I focus more on that winning dragon rather than thinking it might have just been lucky in that single battle. :-(

Everyone has different ways of posting their results. There is no one right way. I do like BastiaanO's way. He posts his new attempt and or information but flags others to his main post.
It does keep the posts shorter and cleaner. If someone does want to follow a members main list, they can find it.
If you do not know how to put links in you can also just state the post number of your main post.

Also you should have the option for a signature. During a tournament you can edit your signature and put in the link to your main post so you do have to retype this information each time you post. Do you have a higher level black hybrid like a Lord of Light, Dame of Darkness, Pirate? I used either one of the three to do Fool in. A higher level pink dragon like Sultana would do the trick too. I used Sultana the last time I faced Fool and got him with magic then bash.

Lost 6 to Dueler, then 3 to Abyss and just now 1 to Hermit!

I was hoping to finish today (Friday - daytime here) as I have school Saturday. Not looking likely now. But still plenty of time.

Definitely give your Diamond a shot. I typically only use him to battle Champions and he does a pretty good job against them. Otherwise he's so-so.

Okay.... In regards to my difficulty in beating Shaman.... I am going to level up my Air to 10. So far I've battled him 3 times and Shaman has brought him to his knees each time. I'll try a few other dragons while Air is evolving but if that doesn't work I figure it will be worth it to try to get past him with an Air-10. I am way out of ideas and starting to get really annoyed with the Shaman!!!😬 He is maiming every single Dragon I put in the arena with him! My healing spring has never been busier...lil

That's why i'm saving the last 7 battles for the tales event, it seems tournament battles are easier than regular battles for me. Not sure if it's the same for others, but it is for me, so that's my strategy here.

My first thought - No WAY! That is crazy! Upon reflection, you might be onto something! Usually, I get majorly stuck for a day and a half on Round 20 and a bit stuck on Round 25. This tournament wasn't bad at all... my hardest opponent was Shell (don't remember the round).

I appreciate your insight and look forward to your results from this and future tournaments. And, for me, this could have worked for this particular tournament, but Round 25 has traditionally been tough for me.

After losing 10 times to Dueler (why is this one so hard, when my own Dueler is so terrible in the arena?), I ended up using Ultimate as I needed to win 3 battles for the Tales *sigh*

I'm really worried about facing Valiant now - just hope I don't need to spend even more gold to finish the tourney!

Out of tournament I faced Valiiant twice with levels between 12 and 14, and both times my Fire 15 took him with one or two hits (usualy bash). Hope that helps. In tournament (Ember and Anemone), Diamond 14 and 15 took him their first try.

Finally on sec. account beat Dueler with Fire11 bB, and kid suffered first Diamond L14 loss against Valiant...

I delayed progressing through the tourney because I wanted to save 3 early battles for the tales requirement. So now I only have 1 battle left, which is before the 1st champion round. After I get this last battle for the tales, I'll be able to continue through the tournament (and hopefully win the prize)

As smooth as the first 25 rounds went with only 5 losses, that bad was the rest... 9 losses in 4 rounds. Anemone was down on first try Forest, glad I made it just before required battles for chapter 9 ;)

I finally finished a couple of hours ago. With school yesterday and dinner with friends last night, I was battling on the fly without my references. Consequently the last 5 rounds gave me grief - can't even remember the strikes for the last 3 or who I lost in the process, although I have 15 in the spa queue (not all from the last 4 rounds, some from earlier) Warrior Prince, Diamond, Dark Crystal, Jade, Beast, Quetzal, Pink Lotus, Dame of Darkness, Jigsaw, Dueler, Gilded Knight, Harvest, Black Cat, Playful, Banshee.

Little Immortal 6 was my hero of the tournament and Supreme showed promise in her first tournament outing.

Good luck to those still battling and congrats to those finished. Now just the Tales to polish off.

Yay. I've been super busy and not spending much time battling. My account has 3 rounds and the kids 4. Hoping no one gets stick anywhere. As long as that doesn't happen we should be fine, even with the slow pace of vacation play. Glad you got through it hon.

My kids got it down with king. Hope you have him. If he comes close to going down reheal and try again. Sometimes it takes a few tries. Good luck.

Just 1 more battle to go and I'm finished with both the tournament and tales, pretty nice that I saved up the last 4 battles since they were fairly easy for me, just 1 try with Prime Eternal LV15.

Thanks mai_jdc, but my Fairy 10 lost too. I've now given up, as I can't win without spending gold. Yet another tourney I couldn't finish due to getting stuck on champs - its getting very disheartening!

During the last 5 min the banner was still up but not the trophy on the side with time. Anyway, I was able to beat the final dragon, round 30, with 2 min left and then at 3:02 my game started processing and it took away my prize dragon!!! The time still lines up with the round being completed but either way that's not right! I took a snap of my prize victory so I'm hoping they'll fix this since I also had to speed battle last 5 rounds in 15 min because I accidentally fell asleep.

I finished With a day to spare, kids finished with 12 hrs left. They spent half a day on anemone. Just glad we all finished. Still days left on the tournament. Congrats to all who got through. Bummer to hear y'all who had troubles.
