Level 19 Opponent - Battle Arena

I encountered a Level 19 dragon in the battle arena today when participating in the tournament for the Ember Dragon and I just wanted to know, how is it at Level 19? I thought Level 15 was the maximum! Is this just exclusive to the battle arena? Can you raise you dragons higher than 15?? Is there something I'm missing here?:confused: Help! Screenshot below.

Hi. Dragons in the arena now go up to level 20. I think that happened when they raised the max level you could take your dragons to as 15. So we can raise our dragons up to 15 but we will have to battle up to 20.

Wow, that's rather unfair! Well, I guess S8 wanted some battles to be a huge challenge. Thanks for letting me know though. :)

As Inztrefan posted, the opponents may be as high as level 20, but the max we can have is level 15.
