Emma visits every 2 hours and drops Bouquets and Wildflowers!

http://i63.tinypic.com/jkbzar.jpg

In this 14-day long event, you have to collect a certain amount of Bouquets in order to get special decorations. There is 4 new time-limited recipes which will disappear after the event, and one permanent recipe (Emma's Cream Scones) that will stay if you complete the goals. Mangoes and Nutmeg is time-limited ingredients that can be found in the General Store. You get Bouquets when you serve dishes from your appliances and from Emma. The drop rates for different dishes can be viewed in post #3.

We need to collect 450 Bouquets every day in 14 days to get the final prize, Emma's Cream Scones.

Are there specific appliances or recipes that give bouquets? I see that different amounts of bouquets are awarded. Not every recipe gives them. Anyone figure it out yet? I looked for information, but I didn't find any yet?

Here are a few:
Cobb Salad 4
Veggie Sushi 5
Eggs 0

Hola? :(

Hi! You have to do the first two goals before it unlocks the other goals. Say hi. Learn two new on commercial stove. Then the 2nd goal pops up to cook on commercial stove. Do this and then the others will unlock. We have to collect the bouquets for something later :)

didnot see goal to learn egg tart , baked french toast ...
did i miss some of the goal lines?
should i carry on learning them anyways before seeing any goal to do so?

i see multiple lines of cooking on applicances (20 each),but i do not have much counter space now (1 or 2 at max, need to wait for them to sell, esp having to learn two new receipts on commerical range.

Haha thanks to having to use the taco seasoning for the last quest my counters are full of high volume dishes such as fried chicken. Will be a long time before I can clear out counter and even cooking space.
I only have Greek Salad left to master on Salad Bar, and Mushroom Risotto on Chateau Stove, so that's going to be slow going...

thank you, i thought perhaps i missed some goalline.
if some requirements are overlapping (like the taco one just finished, cooking certain taco on one goal line, and mastering that taco to star x in another one), if i missed that i might have to repeat.

it looks like longer the cooking time, the fewer bouquets it gives.

surf and turf, fish taco platter, sausage s****et , fruit mochi: 2 (i think)

BTW it's strange...when you collect enough bouquets to "unlock" the flower cart, you still have to buy it for 50 gems?! It's not free as part of the goal? Then why even have that part of the goal in the first place?

Edit: never mind. Closed out the game and came back in, found it in storage. Phew.

I agree, it't not as bad as it may seem. I'm already at 750 thanks to being able to make 2 x 100 bouquets on the flower stand.

One thing, though, are we supposed to able to collect more wild flowers than the ones we get through the side quests? Are they a rare drop from Jenny too?

I LOVE this event! I feel like Storm8 listened to our complaints, and I'm so grateful! It's not a stressful cruise, I don't have to stalk my patrons to collect water, and I don't have to make a bunch of useless stuff I've already mastered. This event offers a lot of flexibility in what to cook, and as a reward there are wonderful new recipes to learn and beautiful decor you can earn without spending gems! Plus they gave us more than a week to complete it. Thanks Storm8, I'm really excited to play this!

There are no dumb questions. If you don't know it's always a good thing to ask. In most case the new character comes in and eats something then there is a little bubble over top of their head. You click the bubble. But if this isn't working, I honestly don't know. When the initial pop up came up (first page of thread pic) did you click on the word lovely?

My next question what version of the game are you playing on?

Random info. I'm in the 1600 bouquet step. Was at 49%. Collected a couple of flowers from some dishes and 25 from Emma the flower girl, checked and and all that only moved my percentage up by 1%. So for everyone wondering but don't want to do the math, 25 + flowers is around 1 %

I'm a little confused by this event... do we have to cook the limited time recipes? Shoud I be hoarding nutmeg and mago? Should I be cooking in the flower cart or save the flowers? Feeling a little dumb right now... to add on it, I'm in the middle of a bad migraine crisis, can't seem to read or spend as much time as I would like in the game or the computer to figure it out :/ Anyone care to give me a quick what is what on this one?

From what Beckycarter said there are no goals related to new recipes aside from cooking them to earn bouquets. Also I have only received 1 goal that was to make a bouquet out of a flower. 1 flower turns into 100 bouquets. I'm sorry that I don't know if there are anymore goal related things to the flowers. I can't make a guess as to if you should make them now or hold off a little bit. I only had two and made 1 will wait a little to see what happens.
I too suffer from migraines, so I hope it goes away quickly and that you feel better soon!

I've unlocked the next quests and there is no mastery of any of the temporary recipes needed to win the final permanent recipe. Since they're timed there doesn't seem to be any reason to even cook them, not sure I understand why they'd even bother with timed recipes that aren't used for anything.

Well, for some of us who have mastered all or almost all of the other recipes, it's good to have new things to cook - otherwise it's a bit boring for them to have to cook so many of the old dishes to get 1600 bouquets.
Oh god, just looked at the screenshot posted above. 3000 bouquets!

I think cocoquilette meant that Emma does not drop the Wild Flowers needed to make bouquests at the flower stand. She doesn't for me, either, and I just got to part 4 of the quest.

Frankly, if S8 isn't going to fix it that the old lady does drop the wild flowers, I might just drop out. Especially since flower drops are dependent on the appliance on which they are cooked, not the durations of the cooking, so a 6 hour dish drops the same as a 40 minutes one, for example.

Not cool, both of the above. And overall way too much work for a dish that doesn't even drop gems.

Ty for the info! MAYBE they made the recipes before changing the game a little as we requested? When we had side quest to master time limited recipes? Personally I wouldn't cook them because it takes too long to reestock AND we need to cook another ingredient (custad or something?), so to me is just too much work for some extra stars (and I have a migraine, Sstill).

I love this event! It seems laid back and more relaxing for me than having to master in a week and cruising. It's kinda nice to mix it up a little. Also the recipes may take a little while but they do reward a lot of coins for the servings. I'm mostly doing the eggs in holes because for 4 bread and eggs I get 450 coins for 12 spent. Plus their cute! :)

I have gotten 25 and 50 bouquet drops a couple different times! :) but have not gotten of the little wildflowers. I would think they would be really rare because just 1 gives a 100 bouquets so if they were plentiful it wouldn't take very long to knock out those bouquet collections. And then we would be twiddling our thumbs for the rest of the 2 weeks.

Have fun! And Happy Mother's Day! <3

"Extras" aren't my main source of bouquets. I'm making short duration recipes that use short restock time ingredients. Same recipes over and over so I don't run out of counter space. There's 11 days. Plenty of time to collect stuff. Random drops can't be relied upon for anything.

I'm at about the same place as you are. Collecting 2000+ of anything is boring and tedious, let alone the 4000 and 6300. Once I leveled up to level 56 my wild flowers stopped being dropped and she started dropping ONLY one bouquet a visit instead of 25-70 that she was dropping prior to leveling up. Yah, partly because there's only a few ovens the lower levels can get bouquets from I think...but those bouquets don't give many flowers, so I do agree, higher levels should get more flowers than they are too...

This challenge is a joke, there is no possible way to finish the recipes in the allotted time. Emma has not dropped one wild flower, only one bouquet at a time, and when you need 6,300 for the last day of challenge good luck. There is no reason to have the flower station, it can only be used three times, when you collect wild flowers from the challenge pedal to the medal. I do not understand why the challenges are getting harder and harder to finish, I would pass on them but I really need the new recipe.

littledarc3
05-10-16, 04:00 PM
Has anyone actually finished? Or on a step past 3000 flowers? Did you gem? If not, what was your strategy? Kind of upset about the difficulty at higher levels. Just because we are higher doesn't mean we can cook 24/7.

CJCANCOOK
05-10-16, 04:03 PM
Good luck, unless you cook 24/7 most likely will not finish this challenge. By the last day you will need 6,300 bouquets.as far as I understand Emma is supposed to drop both bouquets and wild flowers, so far the only wild flowers I can get are 3 and they are from the pedal to the medal challenge. It would help a lot if she would drop a wild flower once in awhile, so it could be used at the flower station for the 100 bouquets. Again good luck

CJCANCOOK

I am on the last day, have used a lot of gems to finish my food and get ingredients. By last day you will need 6,300 bouquets. From what I've heard Emma is supposed to drop bouquets and wild flowers to be used at the flower station. But as yet the only wild flowers I have gotten have been from the pedal to the medal challenge. Good luck and I see no possible way to finish the recipes that go away with the challenge. What I don't understand is why the challenges are getting so difficult?

The wild flowers are a very rare drop for high level players. I am on level 60 and have not gotten any from her yet.

CJCANCOOK
05-10-16, 04:19 PM
Please could you tell me is Emma supposed to drop wild flowers? On the last day of challenge, using a lot of gems and buying multiple bouquet packages. The only wild flowers I can find are the three you get from the pedal to the medal challenge. What help is the flower station if you don't get wild flowers? And is there really anyway to finish the recipes that go away with the challenge?

littledarc3
05-10-16, 04:23 PM
So you need a total of 6,300 flowers. Divide that by the 4 flower average you get per cook and you have to cook 1,575 times. Say you make orange juice every time that would be 262.5 hours of JUST cooking, which is about 11 days of continuous cooking. And that's assuming you have all the oranges and don't have to wait for them. For a 14 day event that seems rough.

Correct me if my math is bad. It just seems sort of impossible for a casual player to do this, especially if you are higher level. I didn't factor in the 300 flowers from the side quests, but I don't think that would make much can of a difference time wise. Anyone else do any math for this to figure out if it's even possible?

insomniadreams88
05-10-16, 04:24 PM
63% on day 4 of collecting bouquets -- and that number would be higher if all my servers except for one weren't somehow trapped for most of the day and my counters are all full. Still trying to figure out how that happened since I haven't rearranged anything in weeks.

For those who used gems, did you find it easier to just use 100 gems on the cart or to use them to speed up cooking/sell dishes on the counters/etc.?

CJCANCOOK
05-10-16, 04:32 PM

I'm 66% on the 3000 flower part. I've been cooking the lower time limit dishes like orange juice, Cobb salad, and bruschetta. The longer recipes don't give a proportionat number of flowers for the cook time in my opinion. Maybe if they did I would cook them. I still think this quest needs reworking by the development team at s8. Just looking at the sheer amount of time needed is ridiculous. I'm jealous of the lower level players who are getting wild flowers and 25+ flowers from the npc at a time. Only 1 is not enough especially when you get 0 wildflowers.

Math wise, I would use the gems to make cooking go faster or for ingredients versus selling dishes on the counters. That's just me though -- it seems your servers are messed up so it might be better in your case to gem the counters?

littledarc3
05-10-16, 04:53 PM
Buying the wildflowers from the cart is 4ish hours of continuous cooking of orange juice. Buying the $4.99 flowers with money is 10 hours of cooking orange juice. With how difficult this quest is, I most likely will not spend gems because it isn't worth it because finishing the quest is improbable if not physically impossibly. I'll gem a cruise day but this isn't worth gem spending for me.

I'm up to 3500, lvl 60 so no wild flowers, pleased to know that this is related to lvl and not just bad luck on my part. I can live with that, it's fair. Used a few gems to clear odd counters or maybe get extra nutmeg before I go to bed. However I did buy a 3rd commercial range as I did notice that they use that a lot in challenges. Very pleased I bought that. All gems have come from game no real $ spent.

Balancing what's on counters is probably the hardest. I have been able to master a few recipes during this challenge. My best dishes are Cobb salad, margarita pizza & who could not resist the 6 min pizza bread in the pizza oven for those that have it. I put away my deep fryer, just not worth all the work when I've mastered everything on it. Don't even use it for cruises, maybe if they were 4 star dishes.

I only work on 2 of the new dishes at once so as not to clog the counters, mastered the toast one.

I will just keep plodding on.....however as for that counter with octopus dip that would cost 488 gems to clear, think it will still be there when this is finished!

I agree, I feel like it's easier for lower level players to collect flowers because they get wild flowers as well as more flowers per visit in general. Just seems like being on level 60 doesn't give any advantages because cooking longer recipes doesn't give the fair amount of flowers and the strategy that being discussed on this forum is to cook fast recipes that are mostly available to lower level players. I don't personally care about the main prize but it would be nice to at least have an opportunity to finish the quest without checking the game every 10-15 minutes. I know that quests designed to make players spend gems but in my case it just makes me indifferent about the prizes lol. I used to be all about finishing events, but now it just seems pointless to spend as much time on the game if they don't want to adjust difficulty.

Wow. You have moved through this remarkable fast! I have 3 commercial stoves as well. Have you mastered any recipes for the limited time ones? I've got two mastered, but I am very behind on flowers. I have 2080/6300 currently. Anything that takes more than 2 hours to cook I haven't done for this quest, but I don't seem to be having counter problems like others. I have mastered the baked French toast, about to start lvl 3 of egg tart, other 2 are still on lvl 2 and lvl 1. Will finish them when I have time. Got to get rid of the 50ish potatoes into soup as well, now got the 40ish steak made into spaghetti & meatballs, so that's under control. Things sure do mount up.

Um, the only way I know to trash food is to use quick serves or gems to get rid of it from the counter. You can't even place the counter into storage and back out again. Think you used to be able to do this in the original RS, but not this one. So how are you throwing it in the trash? What am I missing?

I am on level 60 and Emma has only dropped 1 bouquet each visit. No wildflowers since day one. 😔 The flower stand feels like a waste cos I only made 3 bouquets using the 3 wildflowers I got from the side quests

I am not getting any wildflowers either...

In my lvl 56 game, Emma drops ONE bouquet every visit. The only wildflowers I got was for the side goals (one for each of three, not many.)

In my lvl 39 game, Emma drops wildflowers at every visit (!!) such that the lvl 39 game is way, way ahead (by more than a thousand bouquets) in the total counts.

So, as I madly cook in the lvl 56 game to try and catch up, I am wondering what I possibly did to offend Emma... I have force closed the game, rebooted my device, everything short of uninstalling and reinstalling.

But seeing that I am not the only one that isn't getting the wildflowers, I don't think the problem is on my end. Any ideas anyone?

Kind of got bored with this event and hadn't even opened my game today until I saw this. Went in and there that little trash can was!
Put my flower table in storage yesterday because it took up space and I haven't gotten any drops of wildflowers. I'm level 52. Checked and I'm 59% of collecting 3000. Emma dropped only 5 bouquets when I just went in. So it looks like they slowed down drops to drag this event out.

Finding this challenge very tedious. There's no way I'll complete it on time. Agree with what others are saying about the difficulty for higher level players. I'm just not interested in "cooking" 100-200 dishes per day, I have better things to do. Also, seeing that table that is useless, with it's little flowers on top, is starting to get very annoying. Why do they want to aggravate their long time players like this? If they want me to delete the game, like I did with Dragon Story and Bakery Story 2 because they kept having in achievable tasks, then I wish they would just announce it instead of frustrating the heck out of me to do it.

I am at 90% of 4000. No gems,no helping hands. I had a total of ca 7 wild flowers at level 55. Can't remember exactly.
I don't care about the temporary recipes, so I am saving all the Mastery Spices I make for the next event, when we have to master recipes.
I keep on plugging away, at least I am making coins and am almost at level 56. And collecting items to cook for gems. So that is good.
At least DS and CS have a decent event going, gave up on FS2, as usual too hard and time consuming.Miserable drop rates there, too.

I'm on 3300 bouquets and am very bored of Cobb salad!

As Emma doesn't give me wild flowers I figure I need 6000 bouquets from cooking. Over 14 days that's about 430 a day.

We're on day 6, so by the end of today I figure we should be on 430*6+300 = 2880 points

So I'm ahead of schedule.

Not so sure about the limited time dishes though. They might be close.

I'm finding this event hard and tedious. The new receipes require a lot of cooking to master and Emma never drops wild flowers for me either. Also too much game time for me I have zero desires to be on this one game every half hour. Again this is just my opinion. I have neighbors who love the update, so to each their own. Lol. But for me RS2 is getting boring and I need something new and fun please ! :)

nephthys82
05-11-16, 12:36 PM
Ok, maths time....

Total for mastery & total cooking time

Eggs in a Hole: 120 = 120 hrs
Mango Parfait: 95 = 95 hrs
Baked French Toast: 60 = 120 hrs + 120 hrs
Egg Tart: 60 = 120 hrs + 120 hrs

Commercial range = 455 hrs
Diner oven = 240 hrs

So if you have 2 commercial ranges you would need to spend on average 16.25 hrs cooking the new recipes every day for 14 days to master them.
If you have 3 appliances that goes down to about 11 hrs per appliance per day.
The diner oven is slightly less stressful at about 8.5hrs cooking per oven per day, but you need to have made the custard first.

If you want those wall plaques (and I do) it's gonna be tough.

usually I only do the dishes I haven't got 3 stars yet. I don't do the dishes which already get 3 stars because I don't want my level going too high, too quickly. I like to enjoy the game slowly.

I think that this event is pretty bland. It's not boring, but it's not especially fun either. The only thing that worries is me is the fact that I won't be able to finish this quest. I only have 2450 Bouquets and I'm behind my goal of having 2800 Bouquets today. The end prize is not spectacular, but I would really like to get all the recipes on the Jubilee Oven, it's like a trophy for me. So I guess I will keep on fighting, but it would really help if Emma actually dropped Wildflowers and were more generous with the Bouquets. If they could lower the requirements for the end prize it would be really nice too!

I'm at 98% for the 3,000 with Emma only dropping 1 bouquet at a time and no wildflowers since the original. Just looked at the first page and realized we still have 6,000 flowers after the 3,000 flowers. Took 4 days to go from 72%-98% of the 3,000. And that's cooking non stop all day and night minus sleep, every day. Once Emma stopped dropping multiple bouquets it became impossibly tedious for me. So I'm officially done. I'd take a dozen cruises over this. Was really excited in the beginning until I leveled up to 56 and got punished for working so hard on this game.

Sometimes they fix things mid event, like with the soy sauce in most recent memory. Maybe they will do the same for this quest. lol no gems, 8hrs sleep, and I work full time. I'm single and my daughter is grown though so my free time is mine to do with as I please. With about 14 ovens cooking constantly it can go quite fast. Had a couple of dishes I swapped between on most stoves depending on ingredient refresh times and my street market was invaluable for extra ingredients.

Main dishes I cooked were Eggs benedict, Eggs in a hole, Split pea soup, Apple ginger chicken, Surf and Turf, Baked French Toast, Margherita Pizza, Bruschetta, Lox Bagel, Cobb Salad, Veggie Sushi, Orange Juice, Strawberry Smoothie, Lemon Doughnuts, Fried Chicken, S'mores.

Probably could have used my flour more efficiently but I was trying to level the deep fryer recipes

Thanks for the update! In that case it is the worst rs2 quest so far. These kind of quest were also for me the reason to delete bs2. Ooh well. The sun is here so I'm enjoying it as much as I can with a good book :) (after working hours)

OMG, all this cooking and collecting for THAT? 50 serves that take 1.5 hours?

That's ... lame.

Sometimes they fix things mid event, like with the soy sauce in most recent memory. Maybe they will do the same for this quest. If they don't the likelihood I'll finish is low and like others have said I'm paying all day except sleep. I don't think this Es what they intended, but if it was then I'm not sure this is the game for me anymore.

Exactly my thoughts, isn't it most of the times, that to the end of a quest drops were higher? I hope at least, for most of us 🍀🍀🍀

Just make sure you don't level up to level 56. That happened to me and I went from getting 25-70 bouquets from Emma to ONE per visit and zero wild flowers. Imagine it now takes 25-70 visits from Emma every 2 hours to get the same amount as one visit now for you. Once that happens it's nearly impossible.

56-60 means you have all the stoves and can cook all day. Geez. Didn't you know?

I've seen a lot of quests cater to higher levels because it requires the fryer, so I'm not surprised to see something cater to under 56 but this is nearly impossible for anyone to complete who is 56+ without using gems. Plus the reward isn't worth it for 56+ to even do. Reward is not worth it for less than level 56 players too, but even less so considering the effort.

It's okay though! I'm sensing an awesome cruise to make up for it in the works!

No one has a choice to level up or when they level up. Every time you collect a dish, points go towards your next level. Otherwise I would choose to just stay at 55,forever. High enough to get through most events but not high enough to get punished.

The bouquet drop rate going from 25-70 down to 1 is ridiculous. Something in between would have much more fair.

Really like this quest. The intial steps to get the gems and new decor wasn't too challenging. Two weeks to complete as well :) I'll be finished by tomorrow hopefully (and I didn't play for 2 of the days!). I levelled up from 49 to 50 a few days ago and my wildflower drops decreased dramatically, but even without wildflowers I'm sure I would finish this. I think we've all been asking on here for months for something new, or a break from the cruises - Storm8 has listened! All-in-all, I'm happy to have something new and very pleased to have a break from the endless cruises - it's finally given me time to save coins to buy new appliances, master recipes and get on with the permanent quest lines. Also, the decor is really cute too :) Looking forward to other new events like this to keep the game interesting.

Totally agree, the drop is ridiculous. Having an extra store or oven at higher level doesn't mean we can cook all day. 100 bouquets (1 wildflower) per visit means higher levels have to cook 25 to 50 times every 2 hours to be on par with lower levels. Even with 2 of each appliances, I can't cook that amount.

I'm level 60 and the flower girl only drops 1. What's the point of even dropping (1)? Also, why have the flower stand maker if it doesn't do anything else after 2-3 days? I cook all day, from 7am to midnight. Have beyond a lot of stoves and cook a lot and I'm only at 3,080. This is just too silly!!!

I think they wanted us to spend all of our gems so we can buy more for some kind of epic David Bowie/Prince event with reusable times from the Rock and roll event. Here's to hoping they make it up to the higher level players. Super jealous of those who did/will complete this event.

I totally agreeThe bolded is exactly how I feel. The only wildflowers I have received were from the side quests and very seldom has Emma dropped more than one bouquet. I am at about 2,800 and the quest time is half over. It is a baffling choice by those who created the task because it is frustrating enough that it will create bad will towards the game in players that have shown they actively participate in the game. I don't know, maybe they want to run us off for some reason.

First, this event isn't something new. We have this type of event all the time. Pretty sure that's how I've gotten several other recipes, by taping on a visiting character or water to get so many random drops. Just because it's out of normal order, not a cruise, doesn't make it new. Second, asking for something new and getting something unfair and unbalanced between the levels are apples to oranges. Third, if we don't post what we like and don't like, how are they going to know what is working and not working for players?

I don't think people complaining about event itself, but rather inadequate amounts of flowers you have to collect and the fact they higher level players don't get any windflowers.
I personally really like the idea of the event, it's different from any cruises and quests, and I'm happy we got something new. However, I just don't agree with the drop rates. I don't understand why as a higher player I have to spend way more efforts on this event. And by efforts I mean cooking pretty much non stop (which I'm sure a lot of people can't really do). I just feel like Jenny should drop wildflower at least every other visit, and not just drop 1 flower like she ve been doing it. Like it's just ridiculous, 1 flower does not help me to progress in any way

The event itself is not the problem, it is the fact that some players have received no wildflowers and they only recieve a single bouquet based on their level. Every wildflower drop is equivilant to 25-50 dishes, how is that fair? I can see where it would be okay if the wildflower drops were equal to 10-15 dishes, but 25-50? I can see less, but none? It's really aggregating.

Oh, and I have never complained about the cruises.

THIS!

my problem was that when I started the event I was a level 55 and was receiving 25-70 bouquets per Emma visit and 2 wildflower drops. Then I leveled up to level 56 and bouquets dropped to 1 per Emma visit and zero wildflowers. When I started the event (like all events) I take a day or two to judge the amount of time and effort I will need to invest for me to possibly finish. Sometime I miss judge, especially with random drops and not finish but that's life. With this event, going off the info I got the first few days I decided I could accomplish this event with a reasonable amount of energy and effort so I dove in. I was not told the rules were going to change mid way. If I had known that, I probably would have sat this one out. I would've known, that for me and me only, I would not be able to finish this with 1 drop per visit and zero wildflowers to craft.

I too Love the cruises. They bring gem recipes! And adorable characters to the restaurant. My only cruise regret was missing out on the Hawaiian girl, which was my first cruise and due to vacation wasn't able to start until there were only 3 days left which was impossible. I wish they would let us try to get missed characters at some point. They could do an anniversary event cruise and at the end you could choose which character you could win. That way everyone could have the one they wanted!

Oh my GOD,

it was until now I know that I have no wild flowers is because I am lv 56.
such a punishment.

and this makes me REALLY REALLY ANGRY now.

I really don't need the coins, I've got 10,583,000 coins and no use.
I don't do dishes which are already 3 stars, because I don't need money and I don't like to level up too quickly, I don't want the experience point, either.

this quest forces me to do pizza bread from day to night and even when I am sleeping.
And I feel awful when I see my experience bar going up very quickly.

I am really TOOOOO ANGRY that I really want to say the cursing words.

well if this mother's day event was meant to make higher level players be better mom's or to get off their butts, it worked!!
my kiddoes are grown so i had plenty of time to play but, i guess now i will be getting off my butt and perhaps spend the time learning to be a better cook in real life...

my game goal in this game was to master 'every' recipe, am level 60 and have been getting every recipe to master since game came out but, now this event has made that no longer possible unless i want to spend gems galore.. sorry but, playing non-stop except to sleep with maybe the help of helping hands/spices (and perhaps some gems if my time was not allotted right) should be good enough to complete an event on any game!! well RS2 was fun while it lasted but, now its time to retire and move on to another game.

I put a post out in the main forum, but I guess I'll post here too since it is severely affecting my game play. My food is selling off my counters at a snails pace. I don't have them stacked, my tables, chairs, and door is good. I don't know what's wrong, but I can't make much more food because there's no where to put it.

Same here. Leveled to 56 and that chick is getting even more stingy. Why bother showing up at all at one bunch of flowers and no wild flowers at all. Why do I have to do even more mind numbing cooking, just because I cooked like mad and leveled up. I am at 75% on the last goal, and I have to force myself to keep going ( too much time invested and all that).
I also love the cruises and an anniversary cruise with a choice of characters is a great idea.
This could have been fun, if it were not for drop rate to bunches needed ratio. Feels like water torture. Or rather "Am I there yet?" "Am I there yet ?" "Am I there yet?"

Hi everybody! My name is Kathy nice to meet you all! I been reading all these post and I am level 35 so this may not apply, but I have noticed if I wait a minute in a half to two minutes she gives me more flowers like a 100 to 50. As supposed if I click on her right away she only gives me 5, 10 or 20. I learned this when I wanted better drops from Cid. Maybe wating a bit longer and she might give you a little bit more flowers for you higher levels as well. I hope this might help.

Love both of these comments. I really enjoy the cruises and relish a new challenge but I'm annoyed at the unfair divide regarding experienced players and the ridiculous amount of hours required to complete the challenge.

The drop rate for all players should be the same. I was at level 55 when I started but the drop rate was the same (one per visit and no wild flowers) when I hit 56. So no changes for me on that front. Not sure why, as leveling up seems to have dramatically affected the drop rates for others.

I think S8 need to remember that most of us play to unwind and creating tasks that replicate the tedium of real life is a sure way to reduce their player numbers.

Yea...this event has been extremely frustrating. I'm level 60 with 627 stars -- and I fully intended to finish and obtain the stars from the limited recipes. I had no idea until just now that the drops from Emma were skewed for lower levels so many are already finished, or were able to finish with minimum effort. Wth S8?

Only around 5 days left, and I'm at 70%/6000 flowers and only 1 recipe mastered out of the 4. I've been fortunate to have time to play an inordinate amount to get this far, which means normally it would be comletely unreasonable without spending a lot of stockpiled gems and quick serves. At this rate I'll still need to spend some for the limited recipes, which just seems ridiculous with the amount of played time that has gone into this event.

Disappointed to say the least. Please take higher level feedback into consideration for the next event as this one has been a painful struggle.

Anyone else notice they put the flowers back on sale. $2.99 for 250 flowers. Down from $4.99.

Maybe they are just testing to see how many people will buy for events when they make them impossibly for higher level players. Combine that with desperation to complete and they figure they will sell more. That's my theory at least.

If I don't finish from cooking all day long I will never spend money on this game again.

They purposely make these events difficult more and more. Not fun at all.

I think you might be on to something here. I have seen this in several of their games, make it easier on the lower levels to get them hooked and vested, harder on the higher ones, so they will pay to stay successful.
At 4842 (lvl 56) and not buying flowers. If I get the recipe, fine, if I don't, NOT fine, but I'll live.

Hi all,

Yesterday my counters were full and I used up all my helping hands to clear them. It was a set back in the cooking frenzy to earn bouquets.

Thank you, thank you thread for the garbage can suggestion. I had never noticed it before!!

I'm level 46. I'm at 4357 bouquets with 6 days to go.

This quest was fun at the beginning. I was sure that at some point we would be asked to master the new recipes so I had those going all the time. I'm surprised we don't.

I am on level 56, never have wild flower drop from Emma too. Just one bouquet every visit.
I notice from 20 appliances I have which rewarded flowers - average I got 80 bouquets every batch of full cooking.

I can not glue on my ipad all day, so I just visit every 1.5 - 2 hours for full cooking.
Don't hurry refill the empty counter - let them empty, because if all counter full, you slower the emptying rate.
Every time I revisit, my counter almost all empty. So I can serve all food from my stoves, collect flowers, refill my pantry, cook again on all appliances, and left.

Every day just need about 6-7 batch full cooking, and every day can add about 480 - 560 bouquet. Mixup with 3 wild flowers I got from side quest which give 300 flowers - total just need (6300 - 300) / 480 = 12,5 days.

Now I am on 4543 with 6 days left, I think I can finish it. I did not used any gems or helping hand.
Don't need to hurry - just make steady pace. Good luck !

no, it's impossible to get 80 bouquets from 20 appliances, because:

commercial range x2
Diner Oven x2
Pizza Oven
Celebration Oven
Japanese Food Cart
Campfire Stove
Taco Station
Julibee Oven

All these appliances only give you 2 bouquets at a time.
not to mention you need to make Custard for 2 hrs with no bouquet in order to do the dishes on diner oven first.
