Reading notes left by other players

Hi all,
I am new to DS and one thing I have not been able to figure out is how to read notes/post left by other players that visit my isles. I get the notifications on my phone that players have left a note but can't find them to read them when I go in the game. Playing on Android phone.
TIA for any/all help.

Welcome to the game. To find people's messages to you, push the menu scroll in lower left corner. When it opens, push overview. I know that makes no sense, but that's where it is. Under overview you'll find your profile and your wall. Your wall is where you'll find your messages left by others. Back in the menu under news is where you will find neighbors' requests for maps and gifts of gems just so you know.

TYvm LilliDee! I had no trouble doing neighbors, gifting, etc. Just had major brain flatulation when it came to finding my wall. :o

You're welcome. It took me a minute to find it too. I also forget to check it and sometimes people will post and ask me what an egg is. I'll see it days later ��. I'm working on remembering to check it more regularly.

FYI - another way to find it (the way I usually do because I am always on my wall) is to:

1.Tap the star in the upper left corner (it has your player level).
This will make your island overview pop up (name, rating, etc.)

2. Then tap the button that says "wall".

That's it! :D
