If you have 6 large / grand farms with food planted 20 hours a day, and collect from the bush you earn as the first prize 3 times a day, and have something incubating in the nest 18 hours a day, that is 150 cans per day and 2,550 (aprox.) cans for the event. If we get an arena during the event (this Friday, probably, with the release of Mama Bear), that's more. If you win cans in the mine, more as well. This is doable for anyone online a few times a day, if timed well. And the community prizes require LOTS of people participating so please help the community effort if you can.

You can get watering cans by doing the following actions:

Hatching animals from the nest. The amount of watering cans depend from the hatching time. Therefore, 1 hour = 1 watering can. You can also sell the animal, it's not necessary to put it on a habitat, so if you have small gaps of time consider buying, for example, a Frostfang (4 hours hatching time) to gain an extra 4 hours.
Harvesting food at your farms. The amount of watering cans depend on how many hours it lasts to harvest your fruits. For example, 8 hours generate 8 watering cans. 1 hour generates 1 watering can. Remember: Any food that lasts less than 1 hour might not generate watering cans.
Digging in the mine.
Winning battles on tournaments.
Buying a flower bush (4 cans/4 hours) or flower barrel (16 cans/4 hours). You get a free flower bush as the first prize.


I'd suggest you to plant 20-hour crops daily. Missing a day might harshly affect your outcome, so plan your farming!

That would be nice. It has been a long time since we were gifted a habitat. My guess is that it is a decoration that is too small to be very decorative even if we had to space to place it. Ooops! My cynical voice slipped out.

Nice! I had rune prunes ready this time for a good start! ^_^ Love the animals and excited for the new type! I don't see a rainbow habitat anywhere, so I wonder if the last animal is rainbow plus another type? It would be nice if we got a habitat during the event, but since one is on sale I kinda doubt it. At 25 tokens you get a Flower Bush. Look in your inventory for that.

Fortunately, I had enough explosives along with two farms of Charm Cherries to get the Flower Bush. I have 3 crops of 5 hour crops ready in another 1/2 hour. I meant to have 6-5 hour crops ready at update time but I messed up a bit.

We need 240 Watering Cans to get the Lamp Post which is the second individual prize.

If it doesn't turn up after you force close you may need to contact support. Force closing usually helps, though.

I have to say, I am glad to see a world event. I've got 3 gem hybrids, a money badger, and a Treent of Life that I am trying to raise to epic. So I am trying to get as much food as possible. World events lend themselves well to building food supplies since you continually plant and harvest. It came along at s good time for me.

Oh I'm happy those beautiful animals were a world event and not a breeding trio! I will be a good girl this time and stay on track cuz I want that peacock!! But I just used all my gems and last available space on a zodiac habitat...so they will stay in storage for awhile. :(

You need to collect cans from harvesting your crops. When you get 25 you will get the flower bush decoration. Place that on your land and it will give you more watering cans every 4 hours...you have to click on it to collect.

You become eligible for the community prizes (bottom row) when you have 700 cans. The top row are individual prizes and those are from your own efforts of harvesting from farms and collecting from the decoration.

Fantastic that we got a new type, Rainbow. I really like the animals, especially the peacock. I'm hoping to be a bit more diligent in collecting the watercans then I was last world event as I just scraped in with 1/2 hr to go, it was very stressful. Typically that's how it works when it's an event related habitat. I hope so since I would need to do an expansion and collect the gems in order to get one.

I couldn't bring myself to waste precious Gems on the whale, because to be honest the Norse Horse was my favourite. I will be trying hard again because that peacock is adorable. Will all three of the animals have this new rainbow type? That's exciting! First new type since I started playing!

Try moving it to a different spot..then force close the app. When you reopen it should let you tap and collect from the collect icon.

I'm having a similar issue. Click collect and the timer resets but no cans are added to my total :( I noticed it last night and have made a point of checking my total closely every time I collect.

Can't imagine I'm going to reach the final prize at this rate. Still only on 480 and I'm constantly harvesting, breeding and mining lol

Bit late after the start of the event, but maybe it can still be of use to some, now or in a later event.

That is, in my experience, the best use of farms is to plant 5 hour crops and 20 hour crops alternately or 5 - 5 - 20 some days, if I know I can get to the game at the harvesting times.

Takes a bit more calculation, but it works for me, while just continuously planting 20 crops usually gives me loss times when I'd have to harvest in the middle of my sleep. 😉

I should be in OK shape in the world event. Right now I am sitting at 957 watering cans. I've planted 20 hour crops the last couple of days due to a busy weekend. I've made sure I clicked on my plant every 4 hours as well.

I'll get 48 cans tomorrow when I hatch my Garnet Griffin and I managed to get 10-12 cans by mining. So I shouldn't have any issues.

I moved my Quartz to the evolution flower for its 2nd evolution and will get my Garnet Griffin up to its first evolution. After that I will need to gather a lot of food. I don't have nearly enough to raise my Quartz, Jade and Saffire up to epic. Plus it's time to start hoarding food for an impending Storybook that will likely be starting once the world event ends. Just not enough food to go around.

I just got the Jasmine Jaguar! I think him and the otter are way cuter than the peacock but I'm only going to hatch the peacock because he has the rainbow element. I'm definitely intrigued as to why they are only introducing one animal with a special element. I really hope they let us do something interesting with it or at least introduce more rainbow animals down the road

I am learning that in order to do well with these goals and challenges you have to plan very carefully. Basically, for a world event I make sure my nest is ALWAYS full, never leave it empty. So if I have a long breed going on in my breeding den I fill my nest with an egg from storage. (for example an animal won on a spin to win or an animal won in the battleground) Also, my gardens are ALWAYS planted and you have to be there the minute they are done to harvest and replant! Mine at every opportunity and collect from you flower basket at every opportunity (I'm not super hardcore though... I'm not setting my alarm to get up in the middle of the night or anything!). It takes quite an effort but if you plan you gardens carefully it can co-inside with when you are collecting from the flower basket or changing the eggs in your nest and so on... At the moment I think I'm on track but this weekend is busy for me so I may fall a tad behind in the end again! I missed out on the last individual prize last time by only 100 travel passes! I have two flower bushes and purchased both value packs that contained watering cans. Currently I have 2,354 watering cans. I will not get to the peacock even though I have spent money trying. I think 2,800 is too high for the number of days. I'm not sure if I want to spend more gems to get petal peacock after already spending.

I am 400 points away from the peacock,with less than a day. ,I don't remember what the amounts to get the last individual prize have been but I guess you have to spend money to get the higher prize now. It used to be with persistence you could obtain the last individually prize but it doesn't look like it now. I don't know why I am so far from getting it. I really would like this beauty.

I ended up buying 120 gems to get the peacock. For me, this is one of the best looking animals offered. Very happy to own it up can't put it on the nest yet but it is in the on-deck circle.

I got my Peacock yesterday afternoon. Her name is Spectra. I forgot to place it on the nest till early this morning. With under 5 hrs on the nest to go I sped the egg up and feed her before placing it in the evolution flower. This is Spectra before she goes to level 4. She is such a cutie.
