If this happens to anyone else, could you try clearing the cache for Google Play and Bakery Story 2? From there, uninstall and reinstall the game. Please let us know if that helps!

Hey there! This should just be an Android issue. If you are encountering this issue on an iOS, please write into support@storm8.com with a picture of your bakery so the support agents can take a look. :)

My characters are stuck at the door. What shall I do?
You should delete your game and reinstall the regular Bakery Story 2 version. This works for some members but not everyone.
If it doesnt work for you, you should reinstall the Bakery Story 2: Love and cupcakes version and that should get your characters pass the door. Hope this helps.

Cherry Blossom Cake is a 20 coin recipe!

This event is 19 days long where we need to collect a certain amount of Cherry Blossoms to win a Cherry Blossom Tree and the Cherry Blossom Cake Recipe on the Spring Oven. You get Cherry Blossoms each time you bake something. There are a new appliance, the Rice Pounder, where you can make Sweet Rice Dough for the new recipes. You can find Wasanbor Sugar in Jenny's General Store (restock time 5 minutes) and Rice in Jacks Dry Goods (restock time 30 minutes).

Mika visits every 2 hours and drops Heavy Cream, Matcha and Cherry Blossoms.

You need to collect approximately 260 Cherry Blossoms every day for 20 days in order to get the Cherry Blossom Cake. A very helpful tip is to connect your Bakery with Facebook and find neighbors in BS2 on Facebook. This way you can get Helping Hands faster and speed up recipes!

If you want to get as many Cherry Blossoms as possible, focus on making Cherry Blossom Cookies, they take only 30 minutes but drops 10 Cherry Blossoms! If you want to maximize your profit, then go for the other recipes.

A new event has be***! This event features two sections, Cherry Blossom Ambassador (7 parts) and Blossoms for Cake (4 parts). The end prizes for the two sections are an animated Cherry Blossom Tree and a Cherry Blossom Cake recipe (a 20 coin dish), respectively. The special character for this goal set is Mika, who visits every 2 hours and can drop heavy cream(max 2), cherry blossoms, and matcha(max 2).
Recipe Drops: all regular recipes not on the home oven drop 1 cherry blossom, limited recipes under 2 hours drop 10 blossoms, and limited recipes of 4 hours drop 20 blossoms. Sweet Rice Dough is the only homemade ingredient to drop blossoms (1 blossom).
Helpful Strategies: While all other recipes require drops from Mika, Cherry Blossom Cookies and Taiyaki cookies do not. Cherry Blossom Cookies's longest ingredient is cherries, so you can make these cookies every 30 minutes. Taiyaki cookies require sweet rice dough, but if you speed up the dough you are only waiting 30 minutes for the actual rice ingredient, so you can also make these every 30 minutes. Granted, both of these require quick serves to grind out the recipes at a fast pace, so consider creating or linking a Facebook account for quick serves!

I feel like I've been waiting forever for Mika to return. Seems that almost everything needs her ingredients and without them I basically can't do anything for the event or fill my Bakers club orders as those are the cherry blossom foods as well. When she did return, I only got enough to make one order. Please reconsider the drop rate.

Can someone list how many blossom we get on the regular recipe? ON mine I cant tell. Nothing is loading where the reward is supposed to be listed. I just get a spinning blue line and it never loads.

Btw, did anyone notice the Happy Bunny Floor tile? It doesnt look like a figure under Market but when you tiled them together, they formed a bunny. I thought that was cleverly designed. :)

OK, I just served a couple of things that were ready, and by checking the Cherry Blossom totals before and after, I've determined a few:

Mochi give 21 blossoms
Cookies give 10 blossoms

Peanut Butter Pie, Cream Brulee and Jelly Donuts each give 1 blossom. Don't know if that's true of all the "non-event" recipes, but so far, just 1 blossom each

Recently it seems like the images don't load well for whatever reason. Kind of a bummer because then you can't figure out what's happening, sometimes it's hard to collect drops from visitors. Plus it makes all the new decor hard to shop for, because if you go to the marketplace, either you just see a blank spot with spinning, or you see something completely unrelated to what is being offered (like wall panels or other objects showing up instead of floor tiles in the floor tile page) very confusing.

Recently it seems like the images don't load well for whatever reason. Kind of a bummer because then you can't figure out what's happening, sometimes it's hard to collect drops from visitors. Plus it makes all the new decor hard to shop for, because if you go to the marketplace, either you just see a blank spot with spinning, or you see something completely unrelated to what is being offered (like wall panels or other objects showing up instead of floor tiles in the floor tile page) very confusing.
this is unfortunately not first time (((( i found that for "wrong behaving" decor, you can see its real look only when you try to place it in the bakery (no need to buy finally, enough just to tap some deco and to see how it looks, before tap buy).

I've added info to the mod report about Mika not coming in. Keep force closing and try serving some food. Reinstalling didnt seem to help, but you could try it.


If you have your register blocked (ie players served food as soon as they enter) then try unblocking.

you can have both versions installed in your device. the progress is anyway in sync from the servers, so you can play standard one, and once you see mika - just close it and go check in love&cupcake. :)

I delete the thank you notes from Liam. They are the easiest thing to get back. I just cleared 30 spaces in my pantry doing that. :)

Also I was making a bunch of macarons for the Secret Bakers Club and they each dropped a cherry blossom! So did cupcakes.

That was nice of them. Makes it easier to sneak in some delivery and SBC recipes and not feel I'm wasting valuable time that I could be using on cherry blossoms. I'm even more glad I did them today since I got my first gold key! Learning the salted caramels now. Very excited!! :D

A big huge thank you to CammoAmmo for her wonderful and helpful tips :) I was able to finish this quickly by cooking the cherry blossom cookies and taiyaki cookies non-stop. Haha I now have about 80,000 cherry cookies. I thought for a minute, that those 80,000 cookies would be worth 160,000 coins. But nah! They are only 2 coin dish. So deleted !!!

Also really struggling with the pantry storage issue most annoying. I think they should keep task items out of the secret bakers club myself and you can delete items one by one in RS2..... you know if you mixed up rs 2 and bs 2in a blender I think both would be greatly improved

the point is not in blu and pink boxes. usual recipes only give 1 blossom (if 1hr cooking and more).

Are you not seeing all the event items or only the cherry blossom pic? Some of us are still not seeing the cherry blossoms and the team is aware of it. But dont worry, it wont affect your collection. :) You can try to go to Safari under Settings and click [Clear History and Website Data].

it will disappear from spring oven only if you do not collect yr 5200 blossoms.

Is it unfair to ask developers to reduce the 5200 cherry blossoms to a more palettable number?
I recalled they reduce the clover collection (St Patrick's event) from 2900 to 2200...

I have to cook ~13 bunny or mochi to get 260 sakura per day.
Each of the 2 recipes requires the rice dough which takes 2 hrs to cook.
Or you do 26 sakura cookies, that is u log in every 30 mins to cook...
We don't get to sleep very much...

I m getting indigestion looking at the amount of carbs and sugar i whipped up each day.

Soooooooooooooo tired of this! I've been keeping track of my daily totals to stay on track and its dropped off daily for the last week. I'm just so bored with these same recipes over and over. I'm at about 4100 and the only reason I'm sticking with it is that I've come this far and I'm not going to waste all that effort. But I am soooooo tired of this. These goal totals are too high and these events are too long to hold my interest.

Agree so much on this! I'm also around 4100 and sure that I will finish and get the recipe, but 20 days for an repetitive event like this is too long. Hope that next event will be more fun than the orange brunch fiasco ;)

but when the blossoms collected, the girl still brings 2 cream and 2 matcha.
i have enough quick serves, so my fancy ovens cook non stop: mochi is the best way to get rid of what she brings, and to get 8coins dish to counter.

when she comes again, mochi requires only 1qs to serve instantly.
- so i serve them from both fancy ovens = 2qs,
- one rice dough is ready, i put next one and serve it instantly = 1qs,
- and put another 2 mochi to cook.

and so on.
no excess items in pantry, tons of 8coins food.
(plus 40 blossoms per 2 hrs when still collecting).

I didn't get to see the flowers either. Also a bit disappointed that I didn't figure out that the matcha recipe with lemon and wag sugar would have got me there quicker I deleted around 30 of those before I realised their potential, but then I was doing overtime at work and only having around 2 hours play a day and a low count in QS's which has now been fixed thankfully and now over run with QS. Making tons of Gourmet Souffle's to get rid of all the QS if I need to use them up quickly.
