Has anyone bought the 4th cruise slot?

Has anyone bought this and know what we're actually getting?

Does it mean we unlock the extra slot for this and future cruises or will it only work for the cruise you bought it for and reset for the next one? 200 gems seems pretty absurd for use during only ONE cruise, but I'd be willing to spend money on gems in order to unlock this slot forever.

The helpers and the 4th slot are only for this cruise; they don't carry over to the next. Haha I would sure love it if they are forever.

I have bought the extra slot and the extra helper in the past. My advice, don't waste your gems. I would prefer to get as far as I can and if I need to use gems in the last day to finish I'll use them then. And I've never needed to use 200 gems in the last day either ��
