Boxes?

Are there boxes available on pet shop story? I have a box tab but when I click on it there's nothing inside. I did notice that it always opens to page 5 instead of page 1 I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not.

I've just checked my game and it doesn't look like there are boxes... my page comes up as 1/1 and it's empty too.
