ETA: Also, do we know how much longer this hunt will be around? I'm not far from getting my Research center - only 14 gold tokens. I will be annoyed if it just vanishes when I'm this close.

I'd suspect the paths dropped from the bronze trade, the hedges and walls from the silver trade and the arches and gates from the gold trade. That's the description in the Trade Wagon (and my experience) :)

I was going to ask if anyone has gotten anything but coins after that long wait on the dummy. I thought it might be dropping troll tokens for someone. Guess not. Coins, water and fish are still all I get off Lorelie's fountain though others say they get tokens.

OK - I got the mythic research center. I'm going to post the details and the pictures here for others.

First it took about 18 hours to craft but once you craft it it is built - you don't have to build anything. You craft blueprints then it sends you to get it out of storage. I had the problem where it said "You have too many buildings - level up to get more!" I solved it by putting one of my cottages into storage then going back to the trader wagon and trying to collect it again. I was able to collect it then. Here's what it looks like; the thing next to it is the dummy you get as a prize that only gives off coins.

totally depends on what you believe to be more important.
the cooking camp has most of the crafts that are also in the normal kitchen.

the cabbage hut only gives out 1 free cabbage a day,
and you won't get the 3 daily free cabbages anymore.
so you have to save up to 25 (22 days) before being able to get one grand price.

In my opinion the hut is good for those who like a lot of deco. But on the other hand it would be nice to get a different variety of animals. Still undecided.

I have three of the rainbow arches (1 from a lucky trade, and 1 I bought in addition to the prize one)...and I rarely get a clover or a lucky magic off them and the leprechaun.

The animal summoning crafts inside it also remain active outside of Monster Hunt seasons

So sorry you're having trouble. It can get frustrating. Been there. I'm on iOS assuming you're on android. Not sure of any tried and true strategy. But what helps me is to switch up my collections even during collecting. Meaning, if I've collected 6-10 wheat and no beast, then I'll collect from a chicken or cow. Rotating it around like that and I usually get a beast then. I've noticed most times I have to burn approximately 10-15 energy before it triggers a beast. Tonight I've had a fair amount of luck (crossing fingers now) in getting dire boars to spawn after 4-5 collections.

I always exit the game after I've ****ed a beast. Restart the game and try again. I think it helps but who knows. This is like visiting the slot machines. Lol. But unfortunately I've had my days of burning through 100+ energy too. Good luck to you.

If we had enough of those, we wouldn't have to spend our gems, and if we didn't spend our gems, we wouldn't have to buy more with real money. I've had that problem ever since these trade events started. No trade event, I can't click three cows without triggering a beast. Trade event, I can click every single critter plus the stables and coops repeatedly and not get a single one.

I dont even worry about the novice goal with skunkies and fangbeasts. They don't give the staff tokens while the blue dire boar and glimmer golems do. If I happen to finish the novice goal, great. I don't try to finish it. Takes 2-3 days most times.

I dont even worry about the novice goal with skunkies and fangbeasts. They don't give the staff tokens while the blue dire boar and glimmer golems do. If I happen to finish the novice goal, great. I don't try to finish it. Takes 2-3 days most times.

If you're on android, completing this goal gives you 55 staff tokens. So it's worth it, but not worth going mad to complete.

I've managed to get the fountain, which has dropped a few gold tokens since I placed it, the locket for whatever purpose and have 20 tokens, so I'm fairly satisfied I've hunted OK. I was never going to get the research centre this hunt. My only question is how often these are, and when will the next one be?

then you must have finished the daily hunts already, they have a timer on them (in android hours, ios says only "daily)
but simplest thing to be sure... set time on San Francisco and compare it to the finishing time ;)

I just want to say well done storm 8 for season five monster hunt before the link closes tonight. You have made up for the past few terrible events (need we remind everyone of the essence pool fiasco) this has been a really generous hunt with the troll trades. I spent 325 gems on the beastbane which I have been happy with, especially if it keeps on giving after the event . Even better I have received 200 gems worth of decorations Plus wedding arch walls and tower which aren't available PLUS I can make my own purple alicorns for free (600 gems for the white one) and get 40 energy every day. Wow you have restored my enjoyment in the game. A BIG THANKYOU S8

Hey! I know SW said that the mythic center will be available after the season ends through the trade wagon, so you should be fine to craft that. The token turn in for bronze, silver and gold are only available during hunt seasons, so those won't be once the event ends. Hope that helps! <3

Agreed! I'm debating on getting my 4th purple alicorn now. Purple is my favorite color and 40 energy per day is so much better than an energy crate!!! Love my alicorns!

Apparently we can now have more than 120 of each token because I just had 123 sword tokens before I did a golden trade. Or maybe the limit has been raised for people who bought the Beastbane Display. In any case, this makes it even more worth it! :)

Edit: Or maybe it just went over the limit because the gift for beating the blue boar is sword tokens. That's probably it since the limit on the information cards still says 120.

I believe it costs about 60 gems to skip the craft time so I would do that
Than wait till next season, and missing a chance to collect n save cabbages

Don't know when the next one is, but I've been around since the second one and they seem to be about every two months or so..

Post 3 on the first page of this thread says that the cabbage hut will remain available in the trade wagon until it is crafted. Between hunts only the coin trades disappear. The mythic research center, cooking camp, and cabbage hut all remain until or unless they have already been crafted.

This time It has been really difficult doing the challenges - none of the daily coin goals or season 5 have had a countdown timer in days - hours - minutes showing in the goalbook and I have been on IOS.

You've made it very difficult to get coins. Please try and deliver them in other ways. Also the traiding system losses more coins then gains. I've done Castle story for more then 2 years and it gets old at times when there are problems with any particular adventure. Thank you and I hope you can fix these things.

This time It has been really difficult doing the challenges - none of the daily coin goals or season 5 have had a countdown timer in days - hours - minutes showing in the goalbook and I have been on IOS.

The countdown is only on the Android platform. Last season iOS users could keep a golem or boar on their board until the timer ran out and then **** it and spawn extras. S8 must've figured it out, bc it doesn't work this time around. This wouldn't work for Android bc their goals are for the entire hunting season and not daily goals. Last I checked was a minute ago and it said two hours left.

I'm happy with this season's Monster Hunt. I decided to give up on the Cooking Camp and traded for The Mythic Research Center. Then I collected enough gold tokens to craft two Glimmer Alicorn, the locket, and currently have a Glimmer Dragon crafting. Not a bad haul for 5 seasons of work. Got an hour to goal before this season ends, one last round of collections, and maybe I can end the season with one gold token in storage.

A big thank to S8! i loved that we had a chance to get the decor that was only available for limited time in value packs.
Hydrangea hedges and arches, Wedding wall and arches and paths! I couldnt afford them but always loved the way they look and now i was able to collect them! Really appreciate it! letting us make purple alicorns , and the trades giving away nice things, makes it worth while to set time out of our busy days too log in !

I thought the season has ended...? �� Still got some extra time to **** 4 more dire boars and get some more tokens before my energy ran out ��. This is my first hunt season I joined and I love everything in this season!! I have 35 troll tokens now and happy with that number, still thinking it's whether or not worth it to get that beastbane thing. Or maybe just wait til the next season and hope I'll have a chance to double my tokens. ��
