When Gifting - How do you know what gives more money? I thought it was better to give more plates? Is that wrong?

When your neighbors serve the gifts you give them on their counters, the gifts are sold to the customers at the dishes' respective prices. For example:

French Toast - 1 Coin per plate
Stew - 5 Coins per Plate
Roast Chicken - 8 Coins per plate
etc...

All you have to do is to multiply the coins per plate price for the each of the gifts by the number of plates each gift consists of and you'll know which gift generates more coins.

experience points are meaningless when it comes to gifting. You don't earn exp or money when you send a gift and your neighbors don't receive exp for the gift sent to them, they only get the money from selling the plates.
