Thurston's Pants - No trolls showing up :(

Hey guys!
So I've had this goal for a while now (3 days) and I have collected a bunch of times from building that yield coins and goods, as well as tended my mushrooms and still not one single glimmer troll has showed up. Is this normal? I don't know if this matters by I'm at level 20.

Make sure you don't have another monster on your board. You can tell by the music, so it's worth turning on your sound to double check.

There are no other monsters on the board :(. I guess I'll wait a few more days and then reinstall the games if they still don't show up. Thanks for the Information Nugget link, its great :).
