Bites For The Busy problem

I'm on level 90 and I have millions of coins, just for some background.I finished the cooking on this part of the challenge and am now supposed to purchase 2 Bee Hive Signs. I go to the store and tap on the sign and then tap on an open area and nothing happens. I've tried for a couple of days. I have rebooted my device, deleted the app and downloaded twice. Same thing happens. Anyone have any ideas for me to try? Any help would be appreciated.

Tap on the wall, then tap again. Make sure you do not have any low items posted on the wall in the space you are trying to place.
