Got this one on my third attempt with pyro pony and jade Kirin. The egg design looks pretty. My fails included a garnet griffin and jade Kirin. Best of luck to everyone.:)

Hello Silverrain! I got a lot of speed breeding with gems and Pumkin Panda as Palmeranian I did not get through breeding . Thank you for your compliment :D

I was trying for Brave Eagle with (Ember Bear and Terrorier) when I got the French Hen!!
Going to try again for Brave Eagle because I love his look!

My first impression was that I don't like this one very much! But then I tried to imagine what will happen if I send her to battle?! 🤔
Well, hopefully she'll raise up her bump and shoot some eggs! 😂
So I will give her a chance only to see what's happening! 🐔

Congrats to everyone who've bred the hen!

No luck for me with the hen or the panda yet (been trying for both at the same time). At least I've got some variation in the commons - first a Koala Cadabra, then a Firefox and now a Fireglider cooking in the den. :p There are at least 7 animals I still need from the combo on top of the hen and the panda so hoping to get at least something I don't have yet.

Got this one on my second attempt with good old fashioned pyro pony and Skyger. Now trying for panda but it's the only outcome I need from that combo.

Oh, forgot cockatorch is also a possibility

I probably shouldn't be writing this (fearing bad karma will come from it) but it seems that indeed my Crystal Unicorns are getting almost as productive as SandyBellee's one.... :P
Now, IF it is a Jade Kirin, I will be able to strike my number 1 most sought after animal off the "to-breed" list... :P
But I'll be careful with tempting fate, as I also still need to breed an Obsidian Cyclops, a Citrine Peregrin, a Sapphire Ctulhu and future gem animals, so the Unicorns' job is not quite done just yet.... :P

And yes, so far breeding-wise the Unicorns have been a good investment; Jasper the level 15 one already managed to breed 2 Rubies, 1 Pearl and 1 Garnet, and now Crystal the level 9 one adds a further one to that list. The only other gem hybrid that I have bred is Margot the Emerald Dragon, which was bred with Synth the (bought) Quartz Quetzalcoatl...
IIRC your Unicorn has bred some more even... Haven't checked your forest in a while. Will do so right away to have a look-see... :)

My Unicorn is only one ahead of your Jasper. She's a parent to 5 gem hybrids, and both Emerald Dragon and Jade Kirin have given me one gem offspring. (Garnet Griffin is evolving right now so you'll miss him during your visit.) Anyway, looks like Jasper may well take the lead soon! :)

5 gem hybrids from a single animal is impressive!
I know some people beat us hands down (I shall not mention any names, but at least 2 of them are very active here), but I think they do so with a lot more speeding, so I think we're not doing all that badly. :)
I did indeed miss the Garnet Griffin. You'll love that one too! It's one of my favourite animals. It kicks *ss in the arena too! I don't give it all fights against opponents to which fire is strong, as that is really Ember's territory, but at times I put it in, and it doesn't often fail me. :P

Took me about 10 attempts to get this one but finally got a 20 hour timer this morning, loads of firefoxes, two ember bears and a hot dog beforehand though! Now to try my luck with the palmeranian :p

So, no complaints from me!
The current breeding I have in the den is another Firefox, and as I want to sit out the hatching of Jade, it looks like at most I'll get 1 or 2 more shots at it before it leaves the forest...
Either way, French Hen or not, I'm over the moon that I managed to breed the #1 animal on my "most wanted" list! :P

I sped bred 100 gems to see if I could get the hen and still no luck :( got about 4 foxes, a bear and 2 cosmic pheonixs -_- why have I got 3 super rares before a rare?!?

I'm so jealous! I just sped a bit more and ended up with an Onyx Ox and a Lady Pug meaning I have gotten every possible outcome of Dark/Fire except the hen. Tell me what the chances of that are -_- I'm assuming it's leaving tomorrow so I may just have to purchase it

Due to some insomnia last night I could put in today's first breeding earlier than expected: another Firefox. But... the early attempt means that I can make one more attempt. Fingers crossed!

I think this is the last day for French Hen(?) and I lucked out this morning. If it helps anyone I used a dread panda and skyger. And I've tried every combo you can think of even jade Kirin and Scarlett Griffin. I always have the best luck using one of the commons needed (I think that's why we keep them around) & then a super rare of the needed elements. And for some reason people who were achieving this elusive goal were using dread panda. That's just what seems to work for me so if it helps any others best of luck.

Well, no score for me on this YALBA. I just put in my last attempt (Crystal Unicorn + Ember Bear) and got another Firefox fail.
No big deal; I've got my Jade Kirin as a 'fail', so who cares about the hen?! :P

Sorry to see the French Hen leave the forest. I never did get a chance to breed it, due to other priorities. Of the seven Rare animals released so far this year (excluding the first two of the Trio), I have bred all of them but the Infernowl and the French Hen. Of course, those are the two the left the Forest while the rest remain. Quite a coincidence and bad luck.

It says not breedable, so I am assuming that it isn't, although you never know. The Tidesdale doesn't say that it's unbreedable, but it is. I really should apply for a job at S8 just to be their proofreader and help them with their communications. Get some of these kinks worked out.
