ONE MOMENT, I SERVE ALL THE FRUIT SALADS AND FOOD AND EVEN EARN A GEM. I HAD $88,000. i CHECK MY GIFTS AND MY INTERNET IS COMPLETELY FINE, AND THEN I GO HOME AND ALL THE FRUIT SALADS ARE ROTTEN AND SPOILED, AND I LOSE MY GEM AND BACK TO $84,000. tHIS HAPPENES A LOT. AND THIS IS SERIOUS I LOSE ALL THE FOOD FOR NO REASON AND LOSE TONS OF MONEY AND GEMS WTF!!!!!!!!!! MY INTERNET IS FINE BTW, I REFRESH AND REFRESH RESTUARANT STORY AND EVEN RESTART MY IPOD AND THE FOOD IS STILL SPOILED FOR NO REASON! ALSO, FOOD DISSAPPEAR, LIKE I COOK 2 MACRONI AND CHEESE AND I CHECK AND THERES ONLY 1 WTF! I LOSE MONEY FOR NO REASON AND THIS GAME (edit) UP!

One theory is that this is a bug, the other is this is a feature.
The feature being a ninja thief is in your neighborhood that has been robbing many of our stores.
Could be a clan of them, not sure as I have yet to see them.

You didn't lose a gem, the game rolled back to before you leveled because it was out of sync. You don't lose very much except the bit of time it rolled back to. Of course sometimes that means food goes bad or you never really started cooking some dishes though.

Why was it out of sync? Bad internet connection, maybe problems with the server. You can check to see if it's in sync by visiting a neighbor or community member. If it loads then you're likely connected.

Ok so how do I get those back? THIS always happens! It's a bug! Not a internet problem.

I just lost money and food that took a lot of time. Also lost a gem!!
