The Baron's Tent - Release 10 - March 2016

*NOTE*: The Baron's Tent is currently available to iOS players only. Because it is a "mini game", it cannot be stored OR sold; this is not a bug.

How does the tent work?

1. Every day there's a new grand prize you can purchase. The grand prize is random. All known drops are outlined below & in the Inventory Guide (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?76375).
2. Every day you get 3 free cabbages only. If you buy cabbages, remaining ones (above 3) are carried over to the next day but you do not get an additional 3 free ones.
3. In order to get the Grand Prize, you'll need to purchase some cabbages as you need all 6 prizes to get the grand prize and you're only given 3 free cabbages.
4. Even if you do not want to purchase cabbages, throw your three free ones per day (unless you have the Cabbage Hut). You will still get those prizes (the ones behind the Baron's face).
5. Purchases you can make inside the Baron's Tent:
* 1 rotten cabbage = 10 gems
* 4 rotten cabbages = 40 gems
* 10 rotten cabbages = 90 gems
* 22 rotten cabbages = 180 gems

6. In Oct '15, the Cabbage Hut was released in the market for 450 gems (Limit of 1). It drops 1 rotten cabbage on each collection and has a 22-hour timer. The rotten cabbages are "stored" inside the Baron's Tent (not in the player's storage cellar inventory). No reported limit for the number of rotten cabbages that can accrue and be stored in the Baron's Tent.

You can accumulate the cabbages you collect everyday if you don't use the 3 free on the first day.
Start with your 3 free. Don't use them.
Now collect from your cabbage hut. You should have 4 now. Don't use them.
The next day collect from the cabbage hut again. You should now have 5. Don't use them.
Continue each day collecting from the cabbage hut without using any until you have the amount you want or need to hit all 25 spots.
There is also a pending game goal to acquire &/or build the Cabbage Hut.

Thanks! I may go for it. I will soon have a clear patch to put it. I got frustrated with the wizard's school because I had to wait forever for the books so it was useless for the longest time. And now I get books all the time. But if I can start using the cabbage hut right away I think I'll go for it as soon as I have land cleared for it.

It's pretty & all but I can sometimes get a multi-color hedge from the Feral Lands adventure for free or anytime from the market for 40 gems & it does the same thing (4 hrs/petals) so I think I'll pass on spending up to 180 gems on this one until maybe next year when it hits the market for a "limited time" for 20-50 gems, LOL.

I've got a bunch of the hedges from the FL adventure as well, and don't need petals, but got it hoping it was animated. Only spent my free cabbage hut cabbages on it, anyway if I ever get the alicorn in my tent, and it drops something useful, I'll have to spend some gems on it :)

Just FYI: got more info from a n'bor on the item I originally listed in the first post as a "flowerbed".... It's called a Butterfly Garden and is a 2x2 decoration (no drops).

Anyone who has the Bunny Kitty ~ can you confirm if it does or doesn't also drop a silver or jewel with the regular drops?

I'd like to see a description pop up of what the prizes in the Baron's tent, when a new item appears, telling what it drops and if it is a decoration only, with no drops. Would be helpful to make decisions on whether I purchase it rather than having to wait for it to be added to the forum. At this point I, as do probably many others, wait before purchasing until we are sure we are making a profitable purchase. I for one, being at level 50, do not care much about the items these prizes drop unless they are hard ones to come by, as I have plenty of everything. I have little room for decorative only items in my kingdom and am very selective on those items.

I "won" 3 cabbages along the way and I started with my 3 free ones. I imagine the game is programmed to make you hit most of the faces before winning?

Congrats to everyone who has received the Glimmeregg Ali! Still waiting on one to show up here! I went through the same thing when the Fireworks Dragon was released--took a long time to show up in my tent! Since the update was released, I have had 2 butterfly bushes and 1 garden--everything else has been a re-release from the Valentine update. Not giving up hope, but it is so disappointing!:(

I'm waiting right there with you. It is very frustrating and annoying. This isn't the first time I've had prizes never show up, not even once (the clocktower for one). Some days the prize doesn't even change. If it's gonna get stuck on repeat, at least it could be good repeats!

....Y'know, the bunny kitty is cute & all but... a bunny rabbit has been in the suggestion thread for a loooong time (repeated a few times from diff players over the years) and instead of getting an actually bunny, we get dead brown ones in the petting zoo and then a cat & Golden Retriever DRESSED like a bunny and a bush cut into the SHAPE of a bunny.... just about anything & everything but an actually BUNNY! LOL!!! :rolleyes:....

Cannot be sold nor put in the inventory. I can be there bit not visible, happen sometimes when the game cache is flushed. Just wait until the game download all the data again.
