i have no feelings on this update. it's just kind of blah to me.

i do wish they'd stop designing furniture/appliances with stuff "dripping" off the sides though. i didn't like it on the juice tables & counters, and i don't like it on the honey ovens. it just looks messy.

Another repeat that I didn't expect. Some of the items look a little strange, especially the bee statue. And the dreaded cakepops are back. At least the wallpaper is nice.

Shoot, I'd like to see more improvement in them not screwing up stuff. For about a year now haven't been able to directly gift someone back the same thing...still have to go into their bakery to do so. And, ever since the block feature's been removed...nothing on that. Not at all impressed w their customer service either. MUCH needed improvement!!

I think its cute with the exception of the blue person. I love the stoves with honey coming off them. I love cute items to bake like cake pops so I'm excited. What about tables and chairs to match?
I was expecting something for St. Patricks Day. I am sure we all would agree we want the items to decorate with long before St Patricks Day, not after because we want to move on to Easter then or whatever. We need to get holiday and seasonal stuff long before the date to have all in place weeks before the day if wanted.

As a new player, I completely agree with all you said. When gifting back it sends wax paper. It should send the same item back and alot thinks it does that and I get wasted gifts.
What I would prefer is an add/delete person right on their page so don't have to ask for storm ID.
And I agree on customer service. I have sent many emails and they respond but with generic info. No changes or improvements.
My problem currently is 3 times I have been purchasing coin items and go close to a zero balance that is fine with me. Then as I am clicking away an okay button comes up which i think means out of coins and it uses 10 gems to buy coins. That needs to go away as I struggle to get gems to expand. They need to start listening to what we want.
The block feature would be good too. Restaurant Story has it.

In the thread for the February 24th update FrozenTurtle said that the fountain was never intended as an appliance so it's not really surprising that we're not getting it.

Highly disappointed Team Lava. Was expecting St. Patrick's Day themed update. I wish we could get awesome items like we use to. The last 2 years or so has really been a dud. We need a new design team for Bakery Story.

There was no St Pats decor or goal last year if I recall correctly so I guess this means we should not get our hopes up, just as we were disappointed with no Christmas or Black Friday sale. The bee thing happened already and there are so many other options for this time of year to try given that bees are not too active at the moment. Oh well, coins and gems saved again this week!

The bee theme doesn't appeal to me, per se, but I like the challenge of making it work with the existing bee stuff we got in 2014. What bakery or farmer's market couldn't use locally sourced honey. Love the clock!

This update is better than the updates at RS and FS. So there's that.

We already have a bees hive, bee keepers and honey jars from last year and if I remember correctly the general consensus was "who ever heard of bees in a bakery".
The new oven is very welcome though.

Good grief, I hope no St. Patrick for next week's goals...far, far too late. Easter yes, enough time to complete & enjoy the decor before the holiday, not after, frevinsakes.

I never even brought last month's prize out of inventory...I completed goals fairly quickly but by the time I did, not worth bothering with. I guess I'll be able to use next year.

I like this update. Love everything in the picture except the beekeeper and floor tiles :) I'm not keen on st. Patrick day, so it doesn't bother me if we don't get any more "green stuff" (already have too many I never use). Many people around me and my Brit friend have no idea what st. Patrick day is about, so I doubt it's a very popular holiday that has to be celebrated in BS every year.

I TOTALLY AGREE with other people!! Pleeeze, NO St. Patrick's Day! JUST EASTER, please, so we can set up our bakeries ON TIME....INSTEAD OF....AFTER THE FACT!!! Why does Storm 8 ALWAYS do that each month?!! Why do they even bother?? It takes AT LEAST 1 week to finish the goal!

By event, do you mean goal? It won't be a goal, just a regular weekly update. I'm sure the items will be a mix of coin and gem items.

I agree, this game has been going for years and hopefully for years to come (cuz I LOVE IT) themes r gonna be repeated... Its nice to have decor in storage to combine with the new.
Also dissapointed in no St Patty's, i have very little to decorate with, but HOPE goals r Easter though. ♡

I think the bees cake is reasonably prized though... a 2x2 display for 8 gems is a bargain.

I do wish they do some sort of cake display sale... I always want some but those are generally 4th prizes in boxes. 24 gems for each would seem too much for me.

I love it! Because it adds to the theme in my second bakery. I've got the A Drop of Honey fountain out with honeycomb shelves, etc. Time Flies is beyond adorable.

Ended up getting the bee cake once I saw the size. Took a bit of fiddling but now the older bee stuff is out in my bakery as well. The wallpaper and tile from this update helped to tie it together.

Good luck with box, too. Got the Cake Fridge and Cake boxes. Just missing the second place prizes now.

ah, new player woes again (i got mine in a BF sale, i guess 2014?). hope you win it!

so far, i'm doing okay. my 2nd bakery got that stupid cookie stand, which is my least favorite prize, but then i got the cake delivery and the rolling cart which aren't too bad. i could only try once in my very small 3rd bakery, and got the fridge, which is pretty good for a 4th place. still have to try in my main shop. i hate to break my record of not getting any repeats from this box though.

This update was ok, wish there were more floor decorations to choose from....and table and chairs. The recipes are super cute. I bought the Busy Bee display from the last Honey themed update, so that fits right in with this one.

I'm not going to try the Basic Bakers box, I already have all the prizes except for the Modern Cake display, I think that's the one where there are 3 cakes displayed on a silver box. Don't want anymore duplicates.

Well I have only gotten the lamest 4th place prizes on the boxes I've tried, so I wouldn't say lucky rather it's about time I got something decent. LOL! :)

There are some themes that I'd love more of. The ice cream/gelato and the coffee themes in particular. There are some that once is more than enough.

Do you guys consider St. Patrick day, Easter, etc. as "recycled themes"? A lot of players seem to want those, even when we have so many sets for each holiday already. Personally I don't want another holiday themed goal next week, because it's so "recycled" every year! But I bet that's what we will get :/

i think some themes have to be repeated yearly. how much complaining was there pre-fall sale that new players had no autumn content? just because we've been here a while and saw some of these themes before doesn't mean others don't appreciate them.

besides, when they give us totally new themes, they're often terrible. i mean, dinosaurs in diapers? astronauts? pirates? firefighters? all different from what had come before. i'll take another coffee shop theme, thanks.

I get the new player part. But the previous bee theme (and the only one as my memory can tell) was in 2014, yet still so many people are complaining about "repeated theme". Many of the themes released before are still availble for new players to purchase, only past goals and some removed objects cannot be accessed. But this bee update is not goal, what's the big deal? I just don't understand why so many hate for the "repeated" bee theme yet at the same time they want the so overly repeated St. Patric items :/

I like this update, though later spring or early summer would've been better timing. Items are cute and gem items are priced right. The items complement the other bee items from 2014 very well. I have a few spring flowers in my bakery now and the bee buddies are drooling all over them. The under appreciated worker bees and queen bee! My grandfather was a beekeeper and bees are so important in pollination for most food we eat especially all fruits and nuts. I managed to use the golden floor tiles with my St Pat's decor, but no place for wallpaper now with my bakery in duel holiday mode. A honey bear or "pooh bear" as someone else mentioned would've been great with this update. Would really like to see more Easter coming soon...more bunnies, chicks, eggs, Easter lilies.

I don't mind seeing recycled themes, so long they're nicely designed, well scaled and price right. It give more choices to players be it new or long-term, to decorate their bakery with.

This week's update was just new decor/oven and discounted crate. Monthly goals are usually second or third Wednesday of the month, so this coming week likely is next one.

well, i managed the 4th place cake boxes, but still no modern cake display. sigh. i decided not to go crazy though, because i just couldn't bear all the repeats before i got to the one prize i didn't yet have. still, glad to have my collection almost complete!
