Faulty maps quest?

I desperately want to expand my island, so I've been sending an Island Dragon out on the quest for maps. [Oh! I just "got" that! lol!]

Usually I get one or two maps [and once eight!] but sometimes I only get coins or food... what gives? I know I didn't send out a Fire or Magic dragon, so why am I getting their rewards instead of the maps I want?

same for me.I send Fairy dragon for gems and he returns with coins....I mean really,waiting for 18 houers just for 3000 coins.not fair at all.anyway dident send island for maps ever,I get them faster from my friends.
