Does anyone notice the chocolate chips in Jack's Dry Goods? It says they are locked until Level 1000. I sense a new event coming. They appear to be Milk Chocolate/Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and White Chocolate Chips.

These goals last a total of 11 days. Semisweet Chocolate Chips & White Chocolate Chips restock in 2 hours. Victoria visits every 2 hours. Jack can drop chocolate chips as well. Jack and Victoria drop 1 semisweet and 1 white chocolate chip.

Final Goal Prize is a 2x2.

but the goal to tap him appeared later, so i have to wait when he will be back.

I'd stopped checking in to the game - waiting for the Bakers Club to refresh 18 hours
since I couldn't do the orders :). So, I'm glad there is a new activity and I love chocolate.
The recipes look beautiful and delicious ;).

For my baker's club, I got for one order 3 of the fancy chocolates we are making for the goal. Cool.

as far as i can see from when forum discussions are being started,

last two (valentine's and mallow) started from tuesday to wednesday (tuesday 8pm EST / 6pm PST).
but first one (x-mas) started from monday to tuesday (monday in US).

so i'm not sure if the day of week is already became a system...

as to new activity... frankly speaking, i wd prefer we only had 1 goals or event per month, not two.
o/wise sooner or later i wd be forced to drop this game.
i have other games to play, nothing to talk about tons of pictures and info.
(oh, and the real life, of course! lol)))

this goal can be even done w/o buing the table: easiest way to get it is to do 3 choco covered cherries - bronze mastery gives you 1 free table (other recipes also can give it, but they need chips to cook. and this one uses no spec ingreds):

Thanks for posting details! I just unlocked hot white chocolate, and luckily had one white chocolate chip to make the whipped cream!
Anybody else see a large (likely temporary) disparity between white and milk chocolate chips? Guessing we will need those for the chocolate cupcakes.

And needing four white chocolate chips per drink is kinda challenging, especially for those with smaller pantries! Ah, well, the last one of these worked out nicely, so hoping this one will be the same. :-)

the point that this morning i came and saw the goals.
they asked me to build that fondue pot, so while i was waiting 5 mins it was building, i tapped victoria, and all others who came, and jack was among them - i clearly remember he dropped chocolate because i needed it for cooking to-go order w/o waiting for re-stock in dry goods.
and then after several steps i got the next goal to tap him, so i thought "stupid me! sd have read the forum first - and wait!" lol )))
but when he didn't came back this evening, i haven't noticed, coz that goal is not of main story, so i forgot abt him...
tks to ms kooky, now i caught him in vale version! :)

so, it seems the bug occurs somewhere between start of even and "tap" goal' appearance?..

The items for this quest seem nice...not sure I really want any of the rewards though
(Is that a chocolate water fountain as the grand prize?). But I'll play along. It is tough with the event ingredients and home made ingredients all counting toward your pantry totals...4 different items to be managed if I'm counting right. I'll probably just give up on expanding / upgrading for now- no room for building supplies.

This seem to be a constant with every challenge, the MIXER is always on fire and it's slowing everything down. Since getting free gems or gold keys are Impossible to get... It will be a 1 mixer bakery for a long time!! i wish I could get an obama mixer or even a bernie mixer for free...lol

Just wanted to say this is the first event I'm not going to participate in, feeling over played and frankly mentally exhausted from valentines and marshmallow events. I'm curious if anyone else is feeling exhausted in anyway from these challenges, mental, emotional or physical? - I was physically exhausted during the marsh and valentines goals, waking up every 2 hours, setting an alarm to do that for a game was inane and insane and I will not be doing that again..games shouldn't leave you in tears or yawning through out 7 days...

seriously, i'm with you. despite i didn't wake up in the night - i got enogh of "news" recently.
i guess the normal game i can normally play sd have 1 core update per month and 1 goals/event per month. (with 2..3 weeks interval between them)
o/wise it's too much for me personally.
ta.ma.go.chi ("babysitting") is not my way: need to breath / need space for other wonderful things in life :)

I would simply say play when you want to skip when you want to. Don't forget that other people may have skipped the last event and are playing this one just as in Dragon Story, they may skip one tournament play the next. And though I might stay up an extra few hours, I would never let it make me lose sleep for any period of time. I love sleeping too much and we all need it. Sleep deprivation is really not good for anyone's health.

Also, there will always be new players who for them it is their first event. So, play when you want to. Enjoying life and sleep is more important. Just my two cents.

Did anyone else notice that the chocolates for this event count as an item in the pantry? Usually the items for event (i.e marshmallows or holiday spice) didn't count as a number in the pantry. It wouldn't take up space. But the chocolates this time are draining the space in my pantry. I wish they'd fix that.

Between the 5 hour wait for white hot chocolate and everything piling up, I have all the building expansions and upgrade items plus thank you notes which I've already deleted but now need. I have about 10 percent room for cooking normal food. This is enough to make me stop playing. Not to mention gourmet items thrown in too. Crazy.

I agree! I was really struggling with space because I had lots of stuff for expansion and upgrades. Luckily I was able to upgrade a store and pantry so I got much more room now, but I have to say it's not cool that they make those seasonal ingridients actually take space in the pantry. Either make them not take space or make another tap for special ingridients in the pantry -.-

I also only have x3 to restock!! much prefer RS2.. Would be nice if they could do a few changes on this game to make it a bit more enjoyable otherwise can see me losing interest with this one!!

I think this wil be the first goal that I won't be able to finish. With the special ingredients taking up space, the time it takes to make home made ingredients, plus the cooking time and amounts needed for some of these recipes is extremely hard. Anyways, I'm just venting. GL to everyone

Just wanted to say that for all of you struggling, quickserves can really help. If you make a separate fb account and then join Baker Story 2 Neighbors and pages like that and add all the people on there, you will have 100 neigbors in no time who can all send u a quickserve. You won't need two mixers because you can quickserve everything! It also helps with pantry space because you can go through all the chocolate chips building up in your pantry.

Hubby gave me an iTunes card for my birthday so I bought some gems and now have a second mixer. I am enjoying it very much! One is working on the longer items and the other is making lots of frosting. The lack of white chocolate chips is the main drawback now. I have a lot more semisweet ones than white ones. Just started goal 7/9....not looking forward to all that hot white chocolate!

I think all events so far relied on the mixer. I struggled quite a bit for the 1st event until I bought a 2nd mixer for the next event. It helped tremendously to be able to make more frostings so my appliances dont idle. Yeah, agree with the special ingredients.

I am now at the point of total frustration!! Tried to do as suggested in making another facebook account for the quick serves but for the life of me I cannot add it to bakery story.. It keeps putting in my normal facebook account even though I have signed into ipad with new account as well as having the app in new facebook page.. It just won't let me sign in with this new facebook account.. What am I doing wrong.. Help someone!! Cannot even change on this forum the new e-mail address that I used for the new facebook account.. off to bang my head against the wall!!

Lol. After seeing what the rest of this goal entails (I'm on 7/9 right now) maybe I should just quit while I'm ahead and just focus on making the high profit recipes too. This goal & the recipes allowed me to open up Marco's bazaar and I'll be able to unlock coconut and vanilla as well :)

Add me to the list of people who have given up on this event.

The combination of the volume of low coin plates needed to complete goals, the unenticing rewards and recipes that need many long cooking home-made items did me in.

What adds insult to injury is that the special event items are showing up outside their own little goal chains, like in the Secret Baker's Club orders. So I can't just ignore the event ingredients and recipes, or clear the ingredients from my pantry to free up room for things that are useful for the parts of the game I AM still playing. :(

i didn't finish the very 1st goals (xmas), coz i had no mixer, i had less pantry capacity, less stores stock, and had no facebook connection.
now, having everything i need, i've done this all yesterday.

frankly speaking, i was doing first the things that rewarded me with ingredients.
i dont wanna over-produce those ingreds, so my target was to calculate how much can i get from doing mastery and goals - and how much wd i need to produce additionally.
and of course ms. cammo's main post helped a lot - that i cd see wht i wd need next step, and not to over-cook lower coins dishes to get mastery rewards before i wd need to do the same to pass through the next goal.

I have a little over 24 hours to go I think but I quit at 7/9. Instead I focused on mastering the recipes and making as much of the higher profit recipes as I could. I ended up being able to earn enough to unlock marco's bazaar and unlock the vanilla and creme brulee. Now I'm working in making as much of the high profit ones before they are removed.

I suspect if one does have an extra mixer it really does go a lot easier. With one mixer and my real life there was no way I could have completed the goal. Which is fine since I really didn't want the final goal prize anyway since I have nowhere to put it! I'm still grateful for the goal though, since it allowed me to get to learn creme brulee so that I don't have to keep refreshing that in the to go or secret baker orders! :p

Pretty annoying to have pot de creme in the fondue pot or whatever it's called and then it just disappears when the time runs out. Lots of potential coins gone, but the hot cocoa and chocolate cupcakes are still baking. I guess because it was a time limited appliance. Should have quick served it!

I am on the last part. Unfortunately it will not complete for me. I am 5/3 on the chocolates and 4/3 on the cupcakes and creams. I restarted the game and everything else I can think of. No luck. Any ideas?

With one mixer, one fondue pot, no upgrades to any shops, and only 60 pantry space...I somehow got this done. It was brutal though I admit, haha. Grats everyone who got done on duckies, and I am sorry to those who didn't.

If not for all you awesome people here, it wouldn't have happened. The advice to create a facebook specifically for getting quick serves really saved me. And being able to prep ahead as much as I could in the mixer was a blessing! Thank you all for all your hard work and help! <3
